Yukiko's AI Partner. Unlike her partner whose care for her isn't blatantly obvious, Yukiko's care for the male AI and her closeness to him is quite blatant. Though this tends to become most evident while in a duel. When someone calls Ai and his past actions into question, the teen tends to ignore them for the most part only retaliating through her cards and combinations of them. When someone threatens Ai, Codebreaker's grip on her hand tightens or she moves her arm with the duel disk on it closer to her body as if to protect it. Its very rare she ever verbally lashes out so when she does you know you've gone too far and should really ease up. Regardless of how she shows it though the teen is very protective of Ai and shows, what the highly intelligent AI himself calls foolish at times, great trust and faith in the Ignis. Both character and dueling skills wise. She also keeps him in line. The bluenette tending to get annoyed with him at times and physically assults him with a slap or flick depending on his form when he gets too much into his not-so-amiable persona. None of which she seems to have any issue doing. Overall these two have a very sibling-like relationship with Ai being Yukiko's older brother figure and she likewise being akin to his little sister.

In his typical form he doesn't appear to have a spacfic age, though he was 'born' or 'created' over twenty years ago and his human appearance is that of a young man in his twenties.

Ignis. In simple terms he is a free-willed Artificial Intelligence, simpler terms is he is a living computer program.

✲ Appearance:
Normally Ai is a small, digital humanoid being. Ai's distinct features that distinguishes him is his pointed top and his clown shoe like feet. He has markings over his purple-tinted black body, in the shape of thin lines and circles, which are tinted with a purple color. He has oval-shaped, yellow-orange eyes.  When he becomes angry, Ai turns into a fiendish shape, with six tentacles, a large yellow eye and mouth, with two of his eyes on the center of his body. In his pure data form, Ai is purple prism like data and his eyes remain yellow.

Ai, in his human form, appears as a tall young man with yellow eyes that have rectangular pupils, black shoulder length, spiky hair with yellow tips, along with purple bangs with pink highlights similar to Playmaker's. He wears a light purple formal shirt with a black cravat, vest, pants, and cape with golden stripes at the bottom and a red lining. He wears black boots with silver toes. He also has a pair of purple earrings with orange studs that resemble his head in his original form.

✲ Personality:
Originally more comic relief then anything, Ai's personality has changed due to his past though exactly how much is debatable since bits of his old bubbly personality can still be seen at times.

Ai's personality has taken on a much more calm, calculated and serious nature due to his past, taking responsibility for the future of his kind as the last of them. The little bit of his former self that he retains are his inflated ego and some of his amiable side, though this is limited to only two very specific people. He also retains his sense of fair play, willing to give others a fighting chance when it comes to dueling him as when he let two people duel him at once to give them a bit of an advantage. Outside of these few retined traits though, Ai has shown to have become rather ruthless in his objectives, cruel, cold hearted and even developed a sadistic side.

Despite everything though ultimately Ai's inner kindness remains. He admits he doesn't intend to harm anybody, but knows that he is totally capable of doing so regardless of his intentions with his largest concern being he will harm his new partner. He claims to believe AI can work in partnership with humans but, despite he himself being partnered with a human, still believes it is impossible for he himself to work in peace with them. Often times questioning as to why his partner displays such trust and care towards him with his past acts and claims he has, and will continue, to bring her and the humans nothing but trouble. By the same token he also gets annoyed with his partner when she brings up he is only 'acting stupid and saying stupid stuff' due to the sadness and lonliness he harbours. Ai scolds her for attempting to read and understand his feelings claiming it is not possible to do so for someone whose time has been stopped since he failed his friends.

✲ History:
Won't post the first part for Spolier reasons and it is super long. I would recomand looking it up. However I am providing part of it that matters the most here.

Twenty years later, after the Cannon Time Line, the one Simulation Ai kept from Yusaku came true when the AI picked up on the digital signatures of Cyberse Monsters being used within the network. Cyberse Monsters that were meant to belong to his former partner. Recalling the Simulation, Ai soon found himself returning to LINK VRAINS waking once again trapped in a duel disk and looking at a field with a all too familiar monster on it...in this case it was Decode Talker. Though the one that controlled this Cyberse Monster wasn't a spiky haired young man that liked to threaten to delete him and otherwise put his life on the line. Nope. The person whose duel disk he ended up in this time around belonged to a bluenette nineteen year old girl who also happened to be in the middle of a rather tough duel at that moment against a man who'd apparently tricked her. Acting as the teen's Duel AI, Ai upgraded the teen's deck turning from a Cyberse Deck to the Viral Cyberse Deck which it is today. An act which brought forth one of the girl's best monsters.....Viracode Talker, the first monster Ai created in years and what would quickly become the teen's favorite and signature card. It was thanks to Ai and Viracode Talker that the bluenette won the duel and got away alright along with the AI.

After the duel, both duelist and AI had their first introductions where Ai learned the name of the teen......Codebreaker. One of the most wanted and best hackers and information brokers in LINK VRAINS. Though her real identity was Yukiko Fujiki, a promising talent-wise young hacker and also (though unknown to Yukiko at the time) the one who Ai had seen in the one positive Simulation when he'd run them years ago. The biggest kicker though....Yukiko was the daughter and only child of Skye Zaizen (also known by her avatar as Blue Maiden) and Yusaku Fujiki (known better as his avatar Playmaker). Her father of which being Ai's Origin as well as first partner. Realizing that his Simulation was indeed coming true and this teen would allow him to see Yusaku again, the dark being started asking questions only to find out his best friend was missing and Yukiko had never actually met him before. Ai then explained his story and about Playmaker, without adding that Playmaker and Yusaku were one in the same person, before he decided to team up with the young teen as her partner. Their goal? Originally it was to find Yusaku but things didn't stay that simple, quickly becoming complicated as soon as word got around he was back. Especially when SOL Technologies and the Hanoi found out about his reappearance thanks to him and Codebreaker and a particularly rough Speed Duel against their new enemy......a member of a group called Nexus who were after Ai. Nexus also being the group claiming responsibility for capturing Yusaku thinking he still had the Ignis.

Things have been.....well rocky to put things in simplest terms. While Yusaku was retrieved and Nexus technically destroyed thanks to Ai and Yukiko, things are still not optimal. The leader of Nexus escaped during the two's last duel with him so he is still a major issue. Plus Ai is still considered as the enemy of humanity despite the positive simulation because Nexus is after him (and now Codebreaker too). Theres too much strain and history to soothe with one small half-victory.

✲ Abilities/Powers:
As an Ignis who once helped create Cyberse World, Ai has some degree of control over it. Mostly in the form of unlocking data from Cyberse to start a Data Storm at will so he can duel alongside Yukiko in a Speed Duel via Viral Hijacking or escape danger.

Ai is shown to be far more sophisticated than other AIs, being fully capable of thinking and acting on his own free will and showing emotion; because of that, Ai is considered to be an actual living being. He is built out of highly complicated algorithms that only Yukiko seems capable of decoding, though she still occasionally hits snags in doing so. Ai's memories are stored in the form of video logs. However, Ai's level of free will is limited by the fact that he is still a computer program, as such, he can't comprehend why humans do actions that would seem illogical and contradicting with each other. Despite this, Ai is capable of feeling instinct, an unusual trait for even AI with free will.

Ai's Skill is Storm Access which is given to Yukiko after being trapped in Yukiko's Duel Disk, though this ends up combining with the girl's own skill Viral Hijacking ro upgrade the prexsisting skill into what it currently is. Also whilst trapped in the Duel Disk, he can also act as a Duel AI. Inside Link VRAINS and the network, Ai is shown to be able to transform into a large fiend-like monster. Its assumed he can return to his human appearance at will while in the network, but doesn't unless in a Speed Duel due to his cloaking application Yukiko created for him not working while in his human appearance.

Ai can materialize himself in the real world, though he still can't leave Yukiko's Duel Disk. In Link VRAINS and the digital worls, he's able to enlarge to human size while still linked to Yukiko's Duel Disk and regenerate parts of an avatar. He can even enhance the D-Board to higher speed and act as a shield, at the cost of it destroying him. Ai can regenerate himself, but an immature data recovery causes him to be smaller until all of his data returns.

Ai is able to release blasts of purple energy from his hands in his original small form.

As each Ignis is associated with an element, or Attribute of Duel Monsters, Ai is associated with the DARK Attribute. This can be supported by Linkuriboh, a Cyberse Monster Ai interacts with, being a DARK Monster. This is later confirmed by others referring to him as the "Dark Ignis". Ai appears to be able to create cards of other Attributes as well, as seen with his "@Ignister" Deck. He created Yukiko's Cyberse Deck....a deck which orginally was used by her father and Ai's first partner. He also created the new additions added to Yukiko's version of the deck.

Despite his previous panicky and forgetful nature, Ai is actually an extremely skilled Duelist, easily able to cut through his opponant's defence and win in just one turn and quickly defeat several other highly skilled duelists, one of them without even using his Skill in a Speed Duel. He also managed to defeat Pandor, an anti-Ignis program, himself living up to his reputation.

-Ai never uses his Skill in a Speed Duel. Possibly because he lent it to Yukiko to upgrade her original Skill to what it is currently upon them becoming partners.
-Ai was seen as the Ignis with the most wisdom out of what was originally six.
-He was the one that gave Yukiko her Stormrider Deck.

Ai's human partner. Despite Ai's change of personality and beliefs, this free-willed AI has a pretty close relationship with Yukiko. Even with his more serious, darker nature its been noted by several people that Ai presents whats left of his former more amiable persona towards the young women much like he does her father. Most of the time other's comments are geared towards the sibling route with the Ignis being likened to an older brother and Yukiko the younger sister. Ai scolds and easily becomes annoyed or cross with the blunette human, often questioning her apparent care for him or proving suspicious of her actions or words. However he continues to willingly work together with Yukiko as both duel partner and her Duel AI. While Ai has explined his past to her and seems to have no issues in partnering up to work together during duels, saying he is open with her is a bit much yet. He is still fairly gaurded and strategically selects the information he shares with Yukiko. Yet the Ignis has proven protective of the female duelist thinking she is the key to the positive Great Simulation coming to fruition and humanities survival if he is not terminated.

She is silver-tongued, sassy, and sarcastic she-cat that loves the prove that she is smarter than everyone else. She is quick and is never shy. She will tell you what she thinks about something whether you like it or not. She is bossy and wise while being a great leader.

✲ History: Moonstar was born in her Clan, ShadowClan and became a warrior quickly. She soon was appointed deputy, then leader. Nothing exciting ever happen to ShadowClan except for some fights with other Clans. She is often bored in the Clan, because everything usually turns out okay. Once, she purposely made trouble but later realized that that was idiotic of her. She has learned from mistakes and became the wise leader she is today.
