【 Story 】

A gentle breeze blew past the trees, releasing a soothing hush from the rustling leaves.
Ivan sat peacefully in the shade with his head held high and his eyes closed as he let the breeze brush past his face. Letting out a sigh he slowly opened his eyes and gazed up at the sky before Letting out a big yawn.
It was midday, the sun was high and the breeze was just right, it was the perfect day for an adventure.

"hay Ivan! Ivan!"

Turning his head to the side Ivan slowly sat up and gave a smile of greeting as a young boy rushed up the hill and stopped in front of him.

"(huff, huff) Thank goodness you're still here!"

Tilting his head to the side Ivan let out a nother yawn before look at the boy who was filled with excitement.
"of course I'm still here, why wouldn't I be?"

"well you know with you leaving and all I just thought... You are still leaving today right?"

With an amused smile Ivan gave his head a small nod before looking of into the horizon.
"Yup I'm leaving to day, but I thought I'd take the train this time, so I won't be leaving until that old whistle blows. You think you can stand me for a few moments longer?"

"of course!"

With an excited smile the boy jumped onto Ivan and locked his arms around him before releasing a laugh as Ivan began to tickle him.

"you little rascal! I'm sure going to miss you when I go."

Suddenly a loud whistle carried through the air, catching Ivan's and the boys full attention.
With a cheeky smile he quickly pushed himself to his feet and thrthe boy over his shoulders before grabbing ahold of his bags and rushing towards a small town that sat in the distance.
It was a fair place to live, with many kind and warm hearted kalons, paired with it's peaceful environment,
In was like a little piece of heaven on earth.
And Ivan enjoyed every moment he spent in this place, but it was never his intention to stay permanently
So it would be a sad goodbye as it was finally time for him to move on to the next destination that await him.

Holding tightly to the boys hand, Ivan slowly lowered himself and gave a big smile before ruffling his hair
And pulling him close for a hug.

"stay out of trouble you little rascal."

The boy let out one last laugh as he grabbed Ivan's hand and looked up at him with big eyes,
That were filled with pain and joy.

"come visit again soon ok?"

"ok."

"promise?"

"promise."

With one last smile, he quickly boarded the train before gazing out the window for one last look, and one last thank you, for the place and people that created many new memory that he well carry with him until the end of time.

(Crack, Crack, Boom!)

Letting out a loud cough Carter quick rushed out from a massive black cloud of smoke,
And because to scratch the back of his head as he turned back to see the smoke grow thicker as it poured out from the garage.

Letting out a nother low cough, he slowly grabbed a small dirt rag and began to wip his brow before walking into his office, and switching on the overhead fans.
"man... This is the third time this week. I'm really out of my game here."
Slumping down in his chair he let out an irritated sign before vigorously scratching the back of his head and letting out an irritated groan.

Pushing himself to his feet he slowly walked out and stopped in front of in old sports car.
It was an older model and was covered in dents, some would say it was a piece of junk but to Carter it was like a Dimond in the rough, it just needed a little polishing and care.
Reaching up he slowly closed hood before letting out a sigh and shaking his head in defeat.

"whoa! What happened here?"

A familiar voice broke through the silence and Carter slowed lifted his head with a smile as he turned to face his oldest friend. "hay Joe..."

Joe had been friends with Carter ever since they were kids,
He was definitely more out going then Carter was, but there was never a day that he didn't come to Hangout and talk about good time, and Carter cherished each moment.

Walking over Joe locked his arm around Carter before pushing a cold drink in his hands and let out a Loud laugh. "oh don't look so down! You'll get that old rust bucket up and going some day."

Giving a small smile Carter slowly pulled free from his friends grasp before turhis head away with a frown.
"I don't know man... My head hasn't really been in it these last few day, I even messed up on a client's car.
Its just... It's just frustrating"

Joe slowly looked over at the old car before turning back to Carter with a big toothy smile.
"I think you need a break. So what do you say about closing up shop for the day, taking are cold drinks, a few bags of cheddar balls, and with your best Palin hands heading to the usual place."

Letting out a sigh Carter slowly turned to his friend before giving a small smile and giving his head a small nod. "Sure."


A few hours past and the sun was already setting, filling the sky with gorgeous colors of red yellow and orange.
Both Carter and Joe sat on top of a tall building with their eyes fixed on the sun as it settled over the horizon.

Taking a small sip from his can Joe turned towards cart with a warm smile before pushing himself to his feet.
"hay, you ever Wonder what's beyond are crummy little town?"

Turning his head Carter let out a low sigh before looking back at the sun and lifting his can to his lips before coming to a stop. "i try not to..."

"and why's that?"

Closing his eyes Carter let out a sigh before falling back and gazing at the sky with an empty feeling in his eyes. "I mean, it's not like I'm ever going anywhere so what's the point"

With a sad look on his face Joe slowly turned to gaze at the sun before lifting his can and stopped as it touched his lower lip "I wouldn't be so sure... I think it would be best to leave it to fate"

With a small smile on his face Joe throw the can forward, sending it flying through the air before slowing sitting down to watch the end of the day.
