Tanager suppressed the urge to roll his eyes at the Icewing’s comment. Clearly this Caribou didn’t understand. He watched with a small satisfaction as the grumpy dragon walked out. Tanager wanted to make friends, but this guy was making this difficult.

He turned back towards Freesia just as she blushed. He looked towards Caribou’s slowly disappearing figure and waited until he was out of earshot. He let out a dramatic huff and laughed with his hearty chuckle. “I don’t think that guy will be much fun. He looks like he would never get into trouble! Did someone put an extra side of grumpiness in his prey this morning?” He laughed again but more quietly. Tanager stared into her dark green eyes for a second and winked at her with a smile. He hoped that they could be friends.

The black Skywing sat down and started to ask her some questions. “So beautiful Freesia, do you live in the rainforest with the Rainwing Tribe? How did you get chosen to come here?”

Monsoon stepped inside, in order to let the others pass through. He took a look at the books and scrolls that were close to him, picking up a few and reading a few parts.

She wandered away from the argument looking for any scrolls on snakes. She'd heard of snakes as a small dragonet and had heard about how there were some that could kill a dragon with a single bite. She wanted one. Having a snake that could kill would be awesome! She would have to carry around anti-venom though incase it bit someone or even her. She looked along the S isle and found an old scroll perhaps around 20 years. She carefully plucked it out of the shelve and opened it, smoothing it on a rock. She was looking for the deadly snakes. She looked through the scroll until she saw one part saying in big bold letters Dragon bite viper. She looked through the photos of the deadly snake, not that there were many as it was deadly. extremely deadly can kill with one bite was written directly below the title. "Maybe I should get a less deadly snake" she mumbled. Just incase there was no anti-venom.

Owl poked around the library, it was soothingly quiet compared to the main hall.
If you ignored the aggressive raining. She could see herself spending a decent
amount of time here.

Caribou turned his way down to the library, flicking his tail back and forth angrily.
Maybe he was being a bit rude. Had he gone too far with those rainwings? No,
he was always told to be wary of other wings,"Their all lying lizards
who have screwed over icewings before." he hissed under his breath.

she smiled at the skywing as she walked further into the cave and sat down on her bed. "yeah, i used to live in the forest. but i came here because i wanted to do something with my time. nobody from my village really wanted to come here." freesia replied, smiling at the skywing again. she played with one of the necklaces around her neck, wondering whether or not it would be rude to ask him about his scales.

Monsoon found a book he liked, and shoved it in his bag, along with a scroll he had stashed for later, in case he needed it.

As Mamba saw the flash of icy white scales, she spit at it furiously, missing by inches. Seeing that it did belong to an icewing, she growled. "Great, when it actually counted too." She hissed at him, stuffing the book she was reading into the bag she took.

Tanager turned to face her as she sat down. He was still sitting on the ground and curled his tail around him to get more comfy. Then he felt his mouth drop open at her next statement. Nobody from the rainforest wanted to come? Were Rainwings really that lazy? His town has gone crazy when they heard the news. Every young dragonet had applied. But somehow, he got in.

Tanager felt awkward for a second. It was silent on the cave as she fiddled with a necklace. "Really? But what about your parents? Did they want you to come?" Now he felt really awkward. His parents hadn't cared enough to raise him, let alone care about his life. He pushed those thoughts aside and focused on the dragon in front of him. There was nothing he could do about his parents, so he refused to let himself care.

"Nice aim." He snorted, stepping over the puddle and fully into the library.
