(Please don't get mad that I use the phrase ALM, its simply because there is more than one inequality to be dealt with direly over here and its far easier than saying "Black and LGBTQ and Eastern Europeans and Indians and Chinese and other Foreigners Lives Matter". And I do and will stand up for each and every inequality to ensure everyone gets treated as they should.)

In response to BLM, many people like to show support for other groups with movements like “All Lives Matter” and “Blue Lives Matter”. However, these statements can be interpreted as a dismissal of BLM and the issues faced by black people in particular. Like you, we also support equality and safety for all people, but it is important to recognize that not all groups are being treated equally, so to achieve equality we need to focus on bringing up the people who are being left behind. I think this comic explains this point well.

Many CS users are directly affected by racial inequalities or by the BLM protests going on worldwide. These are dangerous times, and many of us can only safely participate from our homes. As a result, there is a lot of important discussion and campaigning on social media and websites like CS. We would like to support these discussions; however, we need to keep discussion age-appropriate and respectful so all members can safely participate. Please immediately report posts or profiles to staff if you think a discussion is getting out of hand.

This is not the place to let any frustration, hate or anger get the upper hand.
It's best to just report posts instead of replying, when you think something might be too much.

Thanks for the response, I'll say that I was growing concerned with the lack of statement I really hope Chicken Smoothie takes this wholeheartedly going forward.

I think the most important thing to take away is that BLM isn't just a fashionable fad for just a few weeks, this message has to be taken to heart in order to protect the minority and POC members of this website.

I've been having a hard time because where this incident has happened is in my same city...
I thought for a second that CS wasn't in support in the movement tbh.
