Eagle let her sword tip rest against the ground as she leaned against it. "As long as you're willing not to attack me, I can answer friend."

"Friend it is then," he smiled, studying her, his eyes twinkling.

Kylie shrugged. "Fine. Suit yourself."

"Later." Nathan muttered, revving the engine and riding off.

Eagle nodded and tilted her head. "So what brings you out here?" she asked curiously.

"Or not." she growled.

Aiden shrugged. "Peace, I guess. But then again, there is not peace here."

Nathan sighed and crouched down, so the wind wouldn't hit him quite so bad. He drove into another suburb, this one just as wrecked as the last.

[mr.kingrichard]

"What makes you say that? Here in my neck of the woods, nothing ever happens," Eagle told him.

"People, threatening you with knives, my brother on a haunting rampage; owning a ghost company."

Nathan soon stopped in front of an old shop, the closed sign acing all visitors from the cracked-glass door. He walked in hesitantly, to be met by a big, muscular man who came up behind Nathan and held a knife to his throat.
"Didn't anyone ever tell you to read the signs on doors?" The man asked in a low voice.
"Never was too great at reading." Nathan muttered.

"Oh, well, that doesn't sound peaceful at all." Eagle stated, rubbing her chin. "Who might your brother be?"
