Luna was surprised be the other cat's words. That was the same cat that has steamed at her before to leave. But still Luna refused to go back. "What is a kittypet" she asked. Then added "I don't want to go back, I want to be one of you. And I I go back my humans will put me out here agine" Luna knew her humans didn't care about her. They tried to get her to leave. So if she went back she would be thrown back into the woods. She looked up longingly and and waited for the worst.

Neva looked out at the pale ghost of a storm and then back at the tom, flicking her ears she stood up. "It's true, finding allies is rare but you take whoever you can get." Lostface let out a small churr as they ate the prey she brought them. "It's no problem." she meowed. "And of course he will." She was silent for a moment her eye drifte down to her paws. "There will be another star in the sky tonight for him."When Puddlespring asked about the vigil Lostface looked a little uncomfortable. They wouldn't be able to make the little apprentice's body look as though he was just sleeping with all the wounds he had received. "It might be a bit, but I'll go check and come get you when its starting." She meowed. She leaned forward to give Puddlesping a lick on the forehead and then turned to head back into the clearing. She had missed the loner in camp but she noticed the tense air and that Rabbitfur was no longer in the clearing.

With his clan below him Lionstar took in a breath, glancing briefly upwards at the first stars in Nightpelt starting to appear. StarClan give me the right words to help my clan. He prayed silently to them. Looking back down at his clan their eyes all upturned to see him, he began, "All of you have heard what happened today with the fox. After speaking with Vixenbite, we've agreed that there will have to be changes. There will be two cats on guard duty if available, increased border patrols, with at least three warriors together at all times. Apprentices are not to leave camp without warriors with them and kits not at all." Glancing at the nursery, he paused. "And we need to reinforce the dens and camp walls. Spiderdust and Shadowhop you can lead that." His tail flicked behind him as he got to the hardest part of this meeting. "We have lost a dear clan-mate and friend today. Swiftstep gave her life for this us and we will not forget her sacrifice. In her honor we will find this fox and make it regret ever showing its face in our territory!" He ended with a yowl. "Tonight we will hold vigil for her as she travels to StarClan." He jumped down then landing roughly on three paws and made his way to Swiftstep's body. He tucked himself besides her feeling guilty for not being there when the patrol was attacked and wishing it could have been one of his lives in place of hers.

Shadowhop let out a yowl of approval as Lionstar spoke about vengeance on the fox. He moved aside as Lionstar walked past him towards Swifstep. He saw the pain in his face and wished there was something he could say to make him feel better but Lionstar was always determined to take every challenge the clan faced as his own. The best thing he could do would be to help in the way he was asked to. Searching out Spiderdust in the crowd Shadowhop padded over to him. "So, what are you thinking for reinforcements?" he meowed as he looked at the nursery.

Raggedkill yowled loudly and dug his claws into the ground as if he was picturing the fox in front of him. Looking at Featherpaw his tail waved behind him. "Be ready for tomorrow. It's going to be hard training day." Because of Lionstar's new order of 3 warriors he would have to see if some of the other mentors wanted to go too. Or.. "Do you want to help us train tomorrow?" he asked Snowpetal. It had been awhile since she had an apprentice and every cat enjoyed battle training sometimes.

The young she-cat remained silent and listened to the two older cats talk. From what she heard it seemed a loner attacked a member of the clan, the leader in fact and then queen got so scared she bolted out. Journey could relate to the flighty nature but if the camp is as safe as the warrior says then it did seem a bit foolish, though it was not her position to comment. She noticed the small kitten running around yelling. "O-oh.. uh.." She looked at the kitten. "M-Me? I'm uh.. Journey."

Snowpetal had tried nudging Raggedkill towards the freshkill pile for the two of them to get a piece of prey. Aspenheart wasn't surprised to hear the older tom's hiss when had applied the herbs to his wounds, he was sure it was hurting and would continue hurting until it fully healed up. When she left, Puddlespring finished eating and relaxed back into Stormeye, taking a moment to begin to wash some of the mud from her paws.

She wasn't too upset that apprentices would have to have a warrior with them to leave camp, but she was upset that Swiftstep had died. She didn't really know the warrior, but it was sad anyway. Rainpaw looked at the ground and listened to Lionstar talk, her ears and tail drooping.
