elkstar is a fierce and unyielding adversary when it comes to defending his clan from dangers such as
foxes and badgers, but he has always struggled when it comes to dealing with matters involving other
cats; he's empathetic and understanding, often brewing sympathy for those whom he should be against.
regardless, he will always side with his clan and has their best interests at heart -- though he tries his
best to compromise instead of forcing the will of one side. because of this, he is known to be a reliable
mediator, but one who is often criticized for being too involved and too hesitant to take quick or violent
action. elkstar is patient and would rather deal with things as they evolve as opposed to trying to move
mountains to his liking. he has a big heart, but, rather unfortunately, his compassion is more often than
not seen in his conflicted behaviors when faced with adversity within his clan. in the end, elkstar is
deeply loyal and a good-natured tom who is known surprisingly bashful at times. he can be a bit of a
goof and his deep, booming laughter can lift the hearts of many.

elkstar's father, basilclaw, was never interested in his only son's life, thus leaving him in the care of his
mate, mallowfoot. she was a wonderful mother to elkstar, but she passed away when he was 3 moons
old. instead of giving him to another queen to raise, basilclaw took it upon himself to be there for his
son and began sleeping in the nursery with him until he was apprenticed. even then, the two toms were
inseperable friends, and basilclaw taught elkstar everything he knows of diplomacy and serving his clan.
now that he is clan leader -- and a father -- elkstar does his best to both live life in a way that would
make his parents proud and in a way that his kits can look up to.

as she to back down, and as a result she is known to plunge headfirst into any situation -- no matter how
dangerous or risky. she's generally not one to by shy in personal matters and speaks her mind with
confidence and ease, expertly weaving sarcasm and quips into her conversations with others; however,
she handles affection a bit awkwardly and is easily flustered, as she doesn't like to view herself as a cat
who is soft and plush. she strives to be a strong and capable warrior, one who can be trusted to get
things done on her own. part of this is due to her brother's treatment of her, and she seeks to convince
both him and the rest of the clan that she doesn't need to be shielded. thus, larktrill has always been
a bit undermining to authority and doesn't like to be ruled over or ordered around. she's incredibly
blunt and can be a bit too carefree in her words, but to those who manage the wriggle through her
thorns, she is incredibly steadfast in her loyalty and may muster up an occasional gesture of affection.

swiftnight. she was always a sparky little thing, constantly getting into trouble and bothering the clan's
warriors, trying to get them to teach her battle moves. as rowdy as she was, she was still affectionate
and was steadfast in her loyalty to her siblings, happily taking the blame for their mistakes and mishaps.
once jaypaw died, she turned inward; first as a way to grieve for her sister, and later to hide any sign of
weakness or fragility from her brother, eaglefeather.

then she will. as mature as she is, chestnutfall is more lax and playful towards those she has formed a
close bond with; those who are used to being presented with her cordial professionality are often sur-
prised to catch moments of her being lively and bright. she can be snappy when in a situation that
bothers her, but there is no denying she has a good heart beneath her layers of quiet thought and
sarcastic jibes. she's a deep soul and known to spew out philosophical musings every now and then,

thicketpaw is an acquired taste, an argumentative cat who speaks his mind and yet tells others only
what he wants them to hear. he's bull-headed and prickly, someone who doesn't easily let other cats
into his personal circle but is admiringly loyal to those who are admitted. there's no denying his drive
and willingness to achieve, but he likes to do so on his own terms and doesn't particularly enjoy doing
things only because he was told to. if he wasn't so controlling, it's clear that thicketpaw is a natural
leader with the capacity for compassion and clever forethought, but his more redeeming qualities are
generally exclusive for his friends, family, and favorites. this tom is blunt and has no trouble facing up
to reality, though he has no problem bending the truth when it is beneficial to him. a realist at heart,
he takes things as they come, but at times his cynical nature will have him picking and choosing paths
of his own liking: he doesn't want to feel like he is molded beneath others' paws like clay, throwing out
what they deem unwanted; instead, he wants to be the master of his own life and accepted as he is.

thicketpaw is one of a litter of four, and though he isn't the largest of them physically, he has always
forced himself to be at their head. he and his siblings were found sickly and weak by stormclan and
were given to two she-cats to raise as their own. thicketpaw was never all that bothered by his
heritage, but he doesn't like to be reminded of it, because he thinks his behavior might be blamed
on his rogue blood. regardless, thicketpaw has always remained loyal to his siblings above all else,
and maintains a close bond with his adoptive mothers. he strives to make them proud by becoming
a good warrior and is always pushing his littermates to be at their best.

➳ Pinethorn is what you would expect of a good warrior past his prime. His heart still yearns to serve his clan as he once did, but his weathered body won't let him, and his claws and eyes have long since dulled. He tries to make up for it though, always trying to help out in whatever way he can—whether it be tutoring the apprentices or offering fatherly advise to young warriors. He only wants what's best for his clan.

She has the patience to be motherly and sweet, if need be, and there's a quiet loyalty humming in her bones that is ready to explode should anything threaten her family. Being a good warrior -- being enough -- has always been her goal, nothing more. She's never craved leadership, only to do good by her clan.

The whirlwind of the past few moons has thrown her for a loop, and while she's become a formidable deputy, she still harbors doubts that she won't be able to measure up to Elkstar. She tries to keep her insecurities quiet; if the clan sees that their deputy is shaken, unsteady, unwilling, she's already lost their respect. So she keeps those gnawing thoughts under wraps and does her best to hold steady for the next thing the world throws at them.

➳ Honeyheart is passionate about everything, and he is very likely to blunder into sticky situations because of it. No mistake or trip-up has ever stopped him, though. He is determined through and through, and his curiousity is boundless. He does have a quieter side, however, that makes itself known on lonely nights and tense situations. He doesn't do good under pressure; the thought of stressful encounters makes him anxious and nauseous.

He was born to Juniperflight and Shadedfjord, two former warriors of StormClan. For his first couple of moons, he never knew of StormClan's existence, despite his parents' ties to it. Finally, he was told of it and its former glory; they always told him it was no longer safe, and that he was better off in the forest with just them. For a while, he believed them, until his curiousity got the better of him and he took off in search of the clan. He found it, but the solo journey was more harrowing than a kit should endure, and he came out of it as an apprentice of StormClan with a bit of his innocence stolen.

Morningflood has long fur to go with a small, sleek frame. Her fur is thin enough that she doesn't always overheat. She is, most noticeably, a very determined cat. She’s mildly bitter about the past but ignores it and instead focuses on what’s in front of her nose. She’s the epitome of outgoing and understanding whenever she speaks with others. But she knows the harsh reality of life, and has become purely practical in her decisions, sometimes prone to a certain sort of cynical ruthlessness. Her determination and strong will push her forward. Once she's decided on something, she never gives up on it or backs out. She's still a cheery and popular cat despite this, and is good at making friends.

As an apprentice, she was the one who pushed others forward and relentlessly encouraged them. She meant what she said and didn’t take no for an answer. She was a total menace, but a lovable one. At least, until her and Rainjaw almost drowned and the two of them came back as changed cats. She had a new fierceness about her as she insisted she be named for the very thing that almost caused her death. This cemented her belief that preventing possible catastrophes is the most important thing, making her a very devoted warrior. It also means she doesn't regret killing Birchstar, because if she hadn't, he might have killed more cats accidentally.

Rainjaw is a dilute calico with blue eyes and a pink nose. He isn't very dainty, aside from his small paws, and is built more for sturdiness than anything else. He is a small cat, though. He has a simple, strong frame that helps him keep his balance. Rainjaw is sweet, but he's also pretty quiet. He thinks things over before saying anything. He’s good at solving problems and likes taking on extra responsibility to keep him busy. He’s the sort of cat to have close friends that he cares about a lot, but he isn't really much for socializing unless he has to, so the only cat he speaks to often is his adopted sister, Morningflood. He doesn't like situations where he has to make quick decisions. However, once he's decided something, he can be determinedly stubborn about it.

He completed his warrior assessment with Morningflood, but the two of them ended up not being able to see well since it was raining heavily. They slipped down into the river and almost drowned, returning home much later than expected and having traveled from very far upstream. Rainjaw doesn’t talk about it or the irony of his name and refuses to go near water. He even hates rain and snow and always finds something to keep his paws busy when the weather acts up.

She's a pale cream-coloured tabby with white accents. Her eyes are a light, forest green. She has soft, thick fur, and a neatly groomed coat. She's a small cat. She isn't very skilled at anything, due to her front left paw, which is twisted awkwardly and leaves her with a permanent and heavy limp, as well as her name. She was born with it, and as her parents were dead, her name was not given kindly, but more due to truth. She decided quickly to take it in stride. She took longer than most to earn her warrior name, but she's great at fishing and tracking despite her limitations.

Slightstep is determined, though she is quiet and respectful, and never voices her opinion without a certain degree of caution. She is also shy and prefers to avoid uncomfortable situations. She follows instructions well, and listens to advice easily. She is a kind cat when she does speak to others, wanting so desperately to help them the way she never was. She is noble and reserved, really, and has the heart of a warrior, and wishes only to be the best she can for her Clan. She tries to be discreet in her decisions, because she doesn't want her true feelings to be known by any cat unless she deeply trusts them. Her capacity to deceive is high, since that's what she does most days, and her moral code isn't very strong, though she is mostly loyal to her Clan. She deeply trusts Chestnutfall, who is her oldest friend and mate.
