ottermist woke up suddenly, the feeling in her leg really being the reason for her awakening. noticing finchwatcher by her side a small purr easily rumbled up in her throat despite her slight pain. she then looked over to her leg which was slightly torn, for the most part the bleeding had stopped. she couldn't only hope that she wouldn't lose the leg or the movement in it, and if she did she knew she would force herself to work ten times harder, it couldn't be possible that on her first real mission she wouldn't be able to go out again as a warrior.

juniperpaw shook his head lightly "i'm alright, what happened today was awful though. i really didn't think these foxes were that dangerous." his normally happy demeanor was replaced by a more solemn tone his tail dropping down low. he looked over at moonpaw who was noticeably concerned though and continued "i'm sure ashwhisker will be okay, she is strong and so capable."

R a v e n s t a r bit back a wail of grief. His Clan had suffered so much that day...and his deputy’s suffering never seemed to end. His heart was broken for his lost Clanmates and for Ashwhisker. He let his fluffy tail drape over her shoulder as he led her back towards camp, keeping his pace slow and even, not daring to step too far away from the queen beside him. Thankfully, camp wasn’t far, and he was soon helping her through the gorse tunnel. Once they’d made it to the other side, he paused. “Straight to the medicine cat’s den,” he told her firmly.

A n x i e t y bubbled within Nightear. He knew Cinderfrost and his uncle were very close friends, but he couldn’t help but think that not even Ravenstar knew of the queen’s secret. He swallowed hard again. “I won’t tell anyone,” Nightear assured her again, moving closer to the queen so that their flanks brushed slightly. He kept his voice very quiet as they spoke, the reason for him moving closer. “Does...does Ravenstar know? Anyone at all?”

She glanced towards the gorse tunnel - Ravenstar had just slipped through, Ashwhisker at his side. Their pelts seemed to blend together, with how close Ravenstar was standing to the deputy, his black, long fur bleeding into hers. She flicked her long tail towards the two. “Is Ashwhisker hurt? Ravenstar makes it look like she can hardly stand on her own…”

O h , you’ll do, Larkflight thought, waggling his haunches. In front of him, just barely visible among the plant stalks, was a fat pigeon. Big and plump, the brown-and-white tabby swept his tongue over his jaws in anticipation of the catch. Creeping forward slowly, he felt the wind change direction. Mouse-dung! The pigeon lifted its head, peering around anxiously, and Larkflight could see panic in its black, soulless eyes. The tom leaped, knowing this would be his only change. He landed a pawstep short of the bird but acted quickly, lashing out with a forepaw and knocking it onto its side. With a triumphant yowl the warrior leaped onto the bird and finished it with a sharp nip to the neck.

T h e blue apprentice followed her mentor’s gaze. It was sad, very - her Clanmates were gone. They’d never been able to build lives, have kits, become senior warriors (or a warrior at all, in Willowpaw’s case). “I would call her Willowshine,” the apprentice murmured. Realizing that she’d spoken out light, Featherpaw quickly continued, “You know, if I were making her a warrior...I would call her Willowshine, because she was always very bright to be around.”

Fox-dung! Hollyblaze cursed silently as she lunged after a sparrow, only for it to take flight and swoop just out of reach of her claws. Had she been just a second faster, she was sure she could've caught it. She reminded herself that it wasn't the plumpest thing she'd ever seen, but still, prey was prey, and it was bigger than the mouse she'd caught anyway. With a sigh, she continued the search, more impatient than before now. A fluffy tail caught her attention, and, her eagerness fueling her, she hardly wasted time in stalking the thing, instead bolting straight for it. Unlike a bird, there was no where it could go where she couldn't. Squirrels couldn't take to the sky and they didn't have burrows in the ground like mice or rabbits did. No, they either stayed on the ground or in the trees, and Hollyblaze was prepared to follow it wherever it went. But the catch was easier than she expected, for she had been too quick for the squirrel to react and had knocked it out before it had a chance to run away before crunching its spine between her teeth. Now that's more like it. Just one more to go now...

Creamflower smiles at Tulipfang before answering his question. "Sure!" she said. "Ashwhisker wanted me to go on a hunting patrol earlier so maybe you and I can go hunting!"

He carried the Frostbite back to the camp, with his daughter Turtlefeather, seeing how broked the younger warrior seemed to be. Sighing he left the Frostbite body there where his clanmates could give him goodbyes, he himself walked out of the cat's way, as he was not that close with him, only clanmates.

She waited for the camp, not really knowing what to do, getting out of the camp could be mouse braining if there was a fox running around. Sighing she turned to see as the patrol get back, with injured cats and even two who was dead, she flattered her eyes, she had a bad feeling about the whole thing, but still, she didn't want it to be true, but the bad feeling she had was true some of her clanmates did die.

He nodded to her "Hm, she did? that reminded me that no hunting patrol is not being left out yet this morning, I think?" he meowed to her looking the clan before turning to Creamflower "maybe they will organize later the hunting patrols after the cats are given up most of the shock about losing our clan mates" he meowed to her with a sight.

She walked away from others, a way for the body of Frostbite, feeling guilty about his death. Her ears perked toward the voice of Shadowfeather and felt like she needed to apology her, about her brother's death, but she was too embarrassed to do so. Instead, she decided to leave the camp to take a walk to clear her mind, or maybe she didn't want to see the body of Frostbite, she didn't really tell it to anyone, but she had little crush toward the tom.

She watched the cats centering around the two bodies, feeling a little bad about her words earlier, but she didn't really mean them, she didn't want anyone to get hurt or maybe she was a little bit too naive to think that something could go wrong. She looked at Moonpaw, noticing how broken or worried he was because of his mother, she didn't really know either the fallen warrior or Willowpaw that well so the loss was not that big to her to hangle.

Creamflower thinks for a minute before replying to Tulipfang, shrugging. "I dont know." she said. "I still feel we should go hunt and help the Clan take their mind off of the whole ordeal with some food. Maybe hunting can help us focus on serving BlossomClan."

Unfortunately - I'm going to have to close this roleplay. I know this is kinda coming out of nowhere, but since activity has kind of dropped off, I feel like it's a good time to let it go. I very much enjoyed it and everyone's characters, and enjoyed roleplaying with all of you. Sadly, I don't have as much time online, so restarting a roleplay is outside of what I'd like to do at the moment. Perhaps in the future I'll recreate it/make something similar, but for now, I just don't have the time or capability to run it.

Sorry, guys, and I really hope to see all of you again in the future. Please no one use any of this roleplay's content/design as I worked hard on it.
