Short Description -- A tall and skinny dark brown tom with warm honey eyes. Due to a chronic illness that causes him headaches, Sootmask was retired early from being a warrior. Refusing to sit still as an elder, the young 29-moon-old tom decided to become a permanent queen, protecting and raising kits as an older-brother or father figure.

Sweet towards kits but is known to be sarcastic. Extremely protective over younger cats, and still has his fighting skills. Bisexual, prefers toms, with preferably with no mate.

description -- a large, long furred, smokey black tom with tired looking, dark yellow eyes. his pelt is criss crossed with scars that are mostly covered by his thick fur, with the most notable being a underneath his eye, and one over his left shoulder. he's muscular and rather tall.

darkeye is observant and calm under pressure, yet can come across as stern and somewhat cold, if not a little intimidating. however, he truly does care for his clanmates, and will willingly lay down his life for them if the need arises. he doesn't like rushing into things, and can be a little skeptical, and much prefers to plan things out instead of rushing in head first.

Swiftstrike is a very calm cat and does not seek battles, but won't hesitate to battle when forced or threatened. She does not say much and prefers to stay away from a single cat since the first murder and will prefer to hang out in groups or with someone she trusts to avoid getting killed... or making someone think she is the killer. Who knows?

Short Description -- Speckledpelt is a large, silver cat, with almost black spotted tabby markings to where he gets his namesake. His fur is short and brittle. He is most notably a good fighter and relatively slow speed-wise. Because of his bulky size, he often can accidentally harm others, leading to a subconscious fear of it ever happening.

A yowl sounded throughout the forest, sounding like a cat was hurt. Darkeye startled awake at the sound, and did a quick glance around, noticing others had heard it also. Hearing the cry again, the deputy frowned. “I’ll go see what is going on,” he meowed. “Stay and guard came in case it’s a trap,” he meowed, before heading out in the forest.

Running towards where the cry was coming from, the deputy glanced around tail flicking as he didn’t see anyone around. “Does someone need help?” he called out, worried it might be a clanmate that was hurt, ears flicking. Hearing a crack above him, he glanced up and saw a branch fall down towards him, realizing he was in danger and tried to move away but was too late and it landed right on his neck. Seeing another cat, Darkeye blinked. “What are you doing?” he breathed out, as the murder smiled. One down, multiple to go, the murder thought, as they headed back to the camp and their den.

Gullstorm had awoken earlier, along with a few other clan members and the deputy. While he had tried to protest with Darkeye and go out with him, he had ultimately lost and stayed guarding camp. He paced back and forth in front of the camp entrance impatiently. He hadn't heard anything in a while, the last thing was a call he vaguely recognized as Darkeye's but was muffled by the sounds of the forest waking up. "It shouldn't take him this long..." he muttered in an annoyed tone, loud enough for his clanmates to hear "Why isn't he back yet? We should have gone with him, why did no one stop him from leaving camp by himself??" he complained. It was quite clear that Gullstorm was trying to mask his worry with his usual impatient and grumpy attitude.

Wolfpaw yawned, stretching his body out in his nest. He’d been awake for a bit, but hadn’t moved yet. He took a deep breath and stood, readying himself for the day. He wobbled his way into the clearing, “Why isn’t who back yet?” He asked Gullstorm upon hearing him muttering. Had someone left earlier than expected, or was dawn patrol late coming back?
