has anyone like. experienced boredom with k-pop in general? i use to be in love with tons of groups but to be honest, i'm only up to date with mamamoo and stray kids. i'd really love to listen to more groups but i'm not sure if i'd stay around to keep up with them.

Hmmm.... I’m relatively new still I suppose, but my fervour has definitely slowed down over the last year. I’m still very passionate about my ults, and every comeback is a new and exciting time. But I haven’t been grabbing a new group every week like I used to(probably a good thing). I think it’s because I spend most of my time on my own, not actively engaging in the community, writing my own theory and fanfiction, looking at pretty pictures. Thinking about my biases late at night.

But maybe it’s still too much...

I had a nightmare last night. K-pop idols were chasing me through an ever-changing labyrinth of familiar settings. I remember Felix from SKZ and RM from BTS, but I know there were more. Maybe my subconscious is trying to tell me to take a break?

anyways, ive never experienced that personally since i stan many groups so theres not much downtime (and even when there is theres always new stuff to discover/make/participate in), but i understand why you might experience in. like it makes sense. dont feel bad about it, sometimes we just start to lose interest in things as people.

tbh i did. i used to be an avid fan - i followed so many groups i couldn't keep up with them all djshfk
my passion eventually died down bc of trying to keep up with all of them and it burned me out. i kinda stopped dealing with k-pop for until knk, then fell in love with nu'est, and then mx a year later, and just last month, day6.

i'm only casually following nu'est now, even though they're my ult group, but i've been crazy about day6 to the point i just can't do anything without thinking about them (especially sungjin qwq) asjdhfk which is Very Bad considering exams but welp.

i say just stick around for the music and the groups you know you'll love tbh - following groups can be very tiring haha

on a side note, i've also realised a strange pattern in my stanning... it's probably not uncommon but at least one member has left their group (if they haven't disbanded) in all of them, as far as i can remember. only nu'est and day6 (as of present) haven't and i hope it stays that way. /cries.

I also experienced members leaving my groups, even if it was just Wonho and Woojin, this was only days apart. That was a stressful week.
I also got into BigBang that same week. Woohoo.
