Puddlespring leaned into Stormeye's warmth, and could feel him purring, and she purred as well. It was comforting, his presence. She was glad that he had joined PeakClan. "Something to eat might be good. Especially to keep our strength up. I'm going to sit vigil for him tonight." She replied.

Yewbriar looked up at the cats who had gathered around. Hawkeye, Lostface, Rabbitfur, and now Petalstar too. He listened to Blossomcloud as she explained to the other cats, and nodded. "It's a terrible loss." He sighed. He agreed that Puddlespring probably needed some support right now. The she-cat was so young, and Littlepaw had been her first apprentice.
He did brighten up slightly at seeing the way that Blossomcloud treated her daughter, the way that she tried to protect the leader from this. To the rest of the warriors, he spoke. "You should all take a moment. We'll watch over him tonight as he makes his way to StarClan." Yewbriar could tell that all three of them were shocked.

At Leopardpaw's reply, Rainpaw sunk back. She had known that foxes were dangerous, but she had been too arrogant with her claim. "You're right, we just want to keep them away, I suppose." Lostface leaned into Rabbitfur taking comfort from his warmth even though their pelts were still soaked. She was almost relieved when the elders told them they would take care of it. She nodded quickly and stepped backwards. "I'm going to grab some fresh-kill for Stormeye and Puddlespring." She meowed quickly to Hawkeye and Rabbitfur. Going to the fresh-kill pile she pulled out two mice and padded over to where Puddlespirng and Stormeye were snuggled together. She was glad to see Stormeye had gotten Puddlespring purring and was grateful the warrior was here today. "I brought you guys some fresh-kill." She meowed softly. She settled down near them hoping Puddlespring would realize she wasn't alone in her grief. "I'm so sorry about Littlepaw." She wished she had more than sympathy to offer Puddlespring but sometimes there was nothing but time to heal wounds.

Lionstar sighed shaking his head agreeing with Vixenbite. So many obstacles they faced it seemed they could never have a moment of peace. His sore shoulder reminded him of that. "No patrols are to go out without at least three warriors until this fox is for sure gone. Let's have cat or two on guard at all times within camp too." He meowed to his deputy so she would be ready for morning patrol assignments. They couldn't be too careful. Lionstar looked around at the cats in his clan and saw their scared faces. He leapt somewhat gingerly up to the top of his rock ready to address them. He didn't need to call a meeting yowl as pretty much everyone was out in the clearing. He lifted his tail for silence from below.

Shadowhop and Mudsplash set down Splashfeather's body and grabbed the lavender and other herbs needed to prepare her body. Mudsplash had started grooming her fur into place. Shadowhop pressed his muzzle to the orange warriors side. "I'm glad you're okay." he meowed quietly. Mudsplash just leaned back and let out a gruff purr. After they finished they brought her back into the clearing. Shadowhop looked up expectantly at Lionstar standing on three paws on top of highrock.

Raggedkill let out a low growl following his apprentice gaze to where his two brothers were carrying Swiftsteps body into the medicine cat den. He wanted to go out and chase down that fox himself for attacking his clanmates. "You aren't to leave camp without a warrior with you and only if I okay it." He meowed to Featherpaw his tone harsh. He was angry but only because he cared for his apprentice immensely and he didn't want her to get hurt. Making his voice softer he meowed, "Tomorrow we'll practice battle moves for fighting large animals." He flicked her softly with his bushy tail tip. "Get some rest and food tonight."

CliffRunner had went out hunting earlier that day and was now currently asleep in the warriors den. The tom had a bit of a lazy side and it wasn't uncommon for him to sleep soon after he returned to camp from patrol.

The apprentice was outside of the clan camp by herself as she thought she was plenty capable of hunting by herself and she was old enough to not need her mentor to tag along whenever she set a paw outside camp. She knew about the fox who had killed SwiftStep but she wouldn't let that stop her from hunting. FawnPaw sniffed the air, scenting a bird and followed after the scent.

She said. "It's so sad." Puddlespring swallowed back a cry. "But he'll watch over us from StarClan." She had to believe that, had to believe that he would find peace.

Luna ran from her humans as soon as they opened the door. she could at least catch a mouse before returning. It wasn’t like her humans cared anyway. suddenly she realized she was lost. and she saw what looked like a spot she could stay. as she neared the spot she saw more cats everywhere where where kits, small cats her age full grown cats and old cats. she ran to the nearest cats she saw and asked "where am I?" she got no answer and ran to a Thin calico queen with dull green eyes (petalstar) she suddenly blurted out her questions thinking this cat most know "hi I am Luna i ran away from my humans and now i am lost who are you and where am i and are you all lost too and sheltering here can i stay and be one of you"

Ashstorm had scowled at the two somewhat before she went to get a piece of freshkill. As she had gone over, she managed to hear from Vixenbite telling Lionstar that the fox had left which did put her at ease, foxes were no joke. She was glad overall the other cats were alright despite having Swiftstep killed and Jaywing apparently injured as she had seen her brother go over to tend to him. Unfortunately it seemed like today was just filled with injuries but at least it was almost night.
