Ebonystar suddenly woke up with sharp pain in her stomach. She remembered how naive she had been in the first few days, believing that she'd bravely go out and hunt like the true warrior that she was. What actually happened was that she ran out the door, saw a mouse, froze, heard a strange noise and ran back. After that she stayed inside for the past few weeks, escaping into the world of Warrior Cats and taking leftovers from the kitchen for sustenance. She walked to the fridge only to find the same pieces of mouldy bread that had been there yesterday, and the day before, and the day before that... Now delirious and desperate, her hand reached out to grab the bread, however, something stopped her; "That's crowfood. Warriors dont eat crowfood" Ebonystar just stood there, wondering where the voice came from. It had happened during that week too while she read Warrior Cats, a small meow here and there, a yowl or two in battle scenes. ''H-hello..?'' A vision flashed before her eyes of a cat swiping up prey.

Caroline walked at a steady pace, looking over her shoulder every few minutes. She had grown tired of this tedious routine and had her eyes peeled for a place to stay. Suddenly she saw something terribly out of place: a big house, no; a mansion in the middle of nowhere. Caroline ran to it and was about to open the door when she heard something. ''I am Ebonystar. I am a warrior..I hunt, I follow Starclan now..I hunt..I can hunt.. I can hunt'' The voice seemed to belong to a young female though that didnt make her any less freaked out. Then she heard footsteps coming towards the door but before she could react, it opened and a girl with a large knife (note:knife is just for story purposes) was on the other side. She turned around, ready to run miles and miles away from the creepy girl. ''Wait! Would you like to join my clan?'' All of her fear was now replaced with interest.

''Your clan doesnt kill anyone..right?''
''Of course not, that goes against the Warrior Code''
''What's that?''
''Theyre clan rules that every member must follow''
''If I join you, do I get to live in this mansion?''

In that moment, Caroline decided that she was tired of running. She'd join this girl and follow her rules no matter how crazy they turned out to be.

''First of all, I need to change your name''
''Why?''
''Every clan member needs a special name. For example, i'm Ebonystar. Star is at the end of my name because im the leader of Balsamclan''

They walked up staircase upon staircase upon staircase until they finally got to the top. Ebonystar climbed on to a podium.
''From this day forward, you will be known as Oakleaf''
After that, Oakleaf heard a loud grumble. She jumped.
''Was that a zombie?''
''No that was me. We dont have any food..''
And so the two of them set out in search for prey. After barely a few minutes of walking, Oakleaf felt something tapping her shoulder. She didnt turn around, instead she walked faster and faster.
''Hey, why are we running now?'' asked Ebonystar
''Theres something behind me, im too scared to see what it is'' whispered Oakleaf

Ebonystar turned around immediately and saw a woman panting.
''You stopped..Finally...My name is Mira..Mira Thanuz'' she said
''Why were you following us?'' asked Oakleaf
''My old group decided that it would be best to part ways. Ive been looking for a new one''
Ebonystar extended her hand to Mira.
''You can join Balsamclan, we really need more members''
The three of them walked back home and a ceremony was held for Mira, now Ravenswoop. On that night, Ebonystar went to the greenhouse. She glanced at the Valley Oak, remembering the strange event that happened a few weeks ago.
''You in there, Starclan?'' she asked, softly tapping the bark
''I suppose it's because of you that my clan is finally growing. I wish Sable was here though...''

overview
the end came as quickly and suddenly as the strike of an angered viper. very few were prepared, and as a result, many lost their lives in the following weeks. as it turns out, not a lot of people are cut out for the zombie apocalypse. survival isn't a skill that can be taught, after all - it is pure, unadulterated instinct. you either have it or you don't.

as the people in the city of angels fell to the infection, the house on the hill remained lively. its owner - a young man by the name of torivek nilsen - resided comfortably within its walls, fearing no man, beast, or monster aside from himself. his confidence would soon become the staple for his survival group.

torivek ventured out from the safety of his home only when he needed supplies, and even then he never went anywhere without his trusty crossbow strapped to his back. he soon accumulated a following - survivors had heard of the stranger with a marksman's ability and the senses of a bloodhound, and opted to seek him out in hopes that he would take them in and assist them through the apocalypse. but torivek isn't some charity - he believes everyone should be able to fend for themselves, and won't just carry along dead weight in these trying times. you'll have to prove your worth to him if you want to join his ranks.

torivek is a tall, pale-skinned young man, with long, messy light brown hair and green eyes. i would like to request tier one difficulty and descriptions for my group <3
