Once Cassie was in, Maria got to the hospital quickly and took Jordan inside.

Marcus pulled out a machete “they’re my grandkids little girl don’t mess with me.”

Jordan’s breath slowed down. “Mama..” he said

They quickly took him back to take care of him. Maria prayed that he would be okay.

“He better not have touched my daughter, if he did...” She got back in the car and drove to the house, seeing Brooklyn outside. “Brooklyn, what are you doing out here?” She began treating the cut. “Marcus did it.” She said softly.

“Mom go in and deal with him and make sure the babies are unharmed I got Brooklyn.”

“Okay.” She unlocked the door with her key, checking to make sure the twins were okay then finding him. “I can’t believe you did that to my own daughter. First your son, now my daughter?”

“She was threatening me. I couldn’t even touch my grandkids.” He said.
Cassie cleaned up the cut kissing her softly “are you okay?” She asked.
