Codi pet him and smiled “you’re a good boy.” He said.

She smiled slightly. She sighed as she got another contraction. She petted Zero, trying not to think about it. Zero refused to leave Ellie’s side.

“Once zero starts whining I know I need to take you sweetheart. She’s smart.” He said

“Well I’m fine for now anyways” she said softly. She petted Zero. Later that night she woke up with horrible contractions. Zero hadn’t whined any but she refused to leave her side.

Codi got up and looked over “zero is she okay?” She started whining and lightly tapping her paw on her stomach.

“No zero I’m fine” she said and petted zero.

Zero got louder and tapped in more and uno copies her. “Are you sure? The bed is wet hun, you’re in labor.” He picked her up and put her and zero in the car quickly snapping on her therapy dog vest, and drove off.

It was around 2am when she had the twins. She was tired but stayed up. The nurses smiled and awww over the two cute babies. The fact that they went to the same hospital that they worked at. All of the doctors they knew that were at the hospital at the moment came and saw the new arrivals.

Zero stood guard watching them closely she let out a soft bark wanting attention. “You big baby” Codi said petting her. He kissed Ellie’s forehead “they’re beautiful.” He said.

“What are their names?” Asked the doctor.
