The day started off with birds chirping, i woke up stretching up in my bed, getting up i bounced a few times to wake up, i finally bounced off and bounded for my closet, slipping on my mask, my bandanna and valentine socks, i had gotten from a sale last month. I sighed and rushed to the bathroom, combing my long brown hair, i winked at my self, running down stairs cooking pancakes, eating them quickly, flipping off the lights, and rushed out of my apartment and down stairs into the lobby and out the doors entering New-York.

I sat on a stool in my kitchen, sipping on my coffee and watched the new's. I looked at the clock as i quickly set down my cup grabbed my stuff and rushed down stairs. Luckily the cab i called earlier was here. I jumped in buckled up as the cab began to drive.Once i got to work i set down my duffel bag, throwing armor over my body, my cape, and rushed into the room filled with others. I sat in my seat, and sipped on the coffee that was made for me.

Kids were running everywhere, i walked past the agency waving Hi to Clare Thomas the owner and my BFF. I ran into the police station, running up threw the stairs into council. 'Mornin' deputy' i say with a smile, and a wave of my hand. 'Morning Jill' i said stopping to make sure my friend was ok, 'Mornin' Elli' she said and went back to work. I smirked, and tagged along the chairs waving hello to everyone, sitting in my desk and flipping on my computer. I smiled when i saw the note that cleary stated

Dear, Allison aka Agent Elli
I was wondering if you could down and make my boys practice harder as they wont listen to me at all. Your great at hosting and acting like different people and if you came in with a gun, and made them fight, it would be great experience for them and we won’t have you pay us the 20 grand no more.
Sincerely’ DR. Hanson study of Spies

Allison told the deputy and he let her take the case. She smiled slipping on a costume over her clothes.
The boys began talking as the door open as the young trainer walked in with a smirk on her face, gun in hand, as she had a plan for this little training thing. The boys got up quickly charing towards her. She kicked some off, doing a back flip in mid air, landing on the table, four down seven to go. She smiled, knocking them down. The last one had striking features, red hair, more armor and piercing brown eyes. But she shook the thoughts out her head as she found herself on the ground, the boy on top of her, She growled knocking him off, pulling of the costume, with a smirk. Dropping the gun, which was fake as it broke when it hit the floor, she smiled and ran, the boys regaining thought and charging after her, but she was gone. Not really though. she was above them in the air vent. A smirk across her face.

----------
'Split up we have to find her, whatever she is!' Jake yelled over the boys, as the split up into different halls, all meeting up in the same place, and there she was standing up hands in her pocket a smirk across her face. They all growled at her one tried to grab her, but she knocked him off. The boys charged, at her, and in an instant she was gone, all that was left was a small note and some mist.
jake picked up the note, reading it aloud.
'Congrats, you passed the test, im sorry if i mad you run much. My name is agent Elli, i work the powerful state office in NYC off Dill-street, if you wanna talk ill be there. There are doughnuts in your homeroom, if you hurry than you might still find me there, or maybe not. So haha bye
~Allison.

The boys smiled and ran to the homeroom pushing threw and grabbing doughnuts, for all.

I sat in Starbucks, sipping on my vanilla smoothie and eating my candy. Today was my day off. And I was happy.
i stared out the window watching the puffy gray clouds move across the baby blue sky. My day dreaming came in wear i was at work practicing my powers and i learned how to fly. I was so excited about learning that. I was so startled when a figner touched my back i almost screamed. i truned around to find the boy who tried to take me down as her clenched his fist and tried to punch me. I grabbed his fist quickly and growled. 'Who the h*ll are you' i hissed at him.
-----

I growled and pulled back my fist. 'My name is Jake, now why the h*ll were you attacking us.' he hissed stepping closer.
'Attacking you, ha. I was helping your boss and my company. Leave me alone.' she hissed and chewed on more candy.
'Shut up, your coming with me' he said as he grabbed her wrist pulling her off the chair and towards a black van. 'No' she said merely and vanished straight back inside sitting at her seat, chewing on candy.

I have an idea for a story for this threesome here. It's not the happiest story in the world, but I think it's okay. What do you guys think so far? Should I go through with the whole thing?

Image
Pet's name: Dr. Kollie (father)
Image
Pet's name: Alfons Heiderich(adopted son, based off of an anime character)
Image
Pet's name: Dr. Black Jack(adopted son, also based off of an anime character)

Family Life

Alfons was finally coming home from school. He had had to make a stop at the post office along the way, and his back was laden with supplies for his latest project- another rocket. He knocked on the door. Dr. Kollie, one of the town's two doctors and his adopted father, answered. He sighed when he saw what his son was bringing home.

"Rocket fuel? Alfie, can't you find something safer to spend your life doing?"

"Really, Dad? I come home from a day of hard work and the first thing to come out of your mouth is THAT!" Alfons walked right past his father in a huff. HIs father followed him.

"Son, I just want you to be safe! You don't want to know how risky rocket science can be!"

Black Jack, having heard the argument from upstairs, came down. He too was an adopted son of Dr. Kollie, and the only other doctor in town at the moment. He walked up to his father.

"Dad, let him do what he wants to do," Black Jack said, "I know you want him to be a doctor like me. But he's not me, and he enjoys what he does just as much as you and I enjoy what we do,"

Dr. Kollie back off. "I guess he does," he said.

This was how many an afternoon at the Kollie house went down.

Such a light foot, hardly whispering as it hit the ground. It didn't believe what was going on. Neither did the heart, pumping as fast as the toes flittered across the dirt. The dust behind both was swirling in the air, settling with the oxygen in a brutal dance. Fading away just as the creature who kept Heart and Feet hostage was, in the distance. Shouts after Heart and Feet's owner were ignored, their hatred bleeding through the demands. The being made his feet zip over the land like a jet, slashing even the atmosphere out of its way.

Faster, faster. Heart wouldn't be able to take it. Faster, faster. Feet wouldn't be able to take it. The body parts explained this to their master in a cruel manner; a bloody cough and tumbling down the hill. The creature rolled down down down. Faster, faster. Master wouldn't be able to take it. Faster, faster. Nothing would be able to take it.

But he did. Feet had a hard time coping with the stumble, Heart still thudding in his chest screaming, Kallen, imbecile, Kallen, slow down! But even Kallen's own heart's shouts were ignored. He stood up, shaky and woozy, bolting forwards away from the yelling behind. The noise needed to be distant so it couldn't be formed in the brain as a voice, but a screech as it always should have been.

Just a tiny metal against metal like sound that no one would care about. But since Kallen let words and experiances spill from his mouth, nothing was ever just normal. In fact, normal has dissapated as well as sanity. It was a mad world, and the dark circles in the sky glowing their ghastly purple became as average as a cloud.

---

[end part one.]

Thank you, iPawki^^. He may seem very strange in apperance right now, yeah, but sometime in the story you'll see why he looks different than imagined. ;3 And a lovely story, I must add. <33

Carousel@; Lovely blurb, as always. <3

Legacy@; They look cute together, even just as friends. I hope everything is alright...? c:

Kih-heh, kih-heh; the boy was breathing hard, his lungs grasping too little oxygen. Kallen's feet and heart were still pumping almost as one, rushing to find a haven somewhere deep inside the forest. The trees were a perfect shade of blue, but still as menacing as a sword. Kallen blended in with the plants as if there were brethren--his kin; the hoodie upon his back matched them. Gradually the male slowed to an even trot, eyes darting across the landscape for a hole. It didn't have to be deep, just...below.

A mossy, decomposing log hid a fox den, a small enclosed space big enough for an adolescent female and newborn kits. Kallen bolted forwards, dodging the roots' knots emerging from the earth. With a pounce, he thumped upon the ground and skidded into the ditch. Hands were both scraped--sharp rocks littered the forest floor. Minute droplets of blood formed small circles of deep red upon his palms. But his eyes didn't flinch. Eye and Eye were too stubborn to shut. However they stared at the ripped up mess.

"Crap," Kallen muttered under his breath, daring to let words trickle from his mouth. He wiped his mitts gingerly along his jacket and nuzzled deeper into the den. Piercing screams like bloody murder echoed inside of the hole, jabbing the boy's ears. Eyes gave in and fluttered closed, trapping out the sound waves. Ears just sat there on Kallen's head, accepting the sound but not agreeing with it. They were pained.

"Nuh~!" He grunted, throwing the backs of his hands to block out the screeching. Closer. They were much closer.

Voices formed. Steps formed. Hissing formed. Hatred dripped through. They were here.

But Kallen couldn't have kept running. So he stayed put.

[end part two.]

Kind of a sequel to my old Magic Toyshop Story, found here

Image
Marionette & Remnant
[m/f] & [f]

The old toy shop lay far from the public view.
It was a rickety, tarnished old shack, sitting quietly on what used to be one of the busiest streets of town.
Every once in a while a passerby would come to marvel at the simple buildings, and at just how well they stood the test of time. Perhaps they were trying to remember what life was life before it was all taken away.
Once in a while simply checking to see if they still stood.
But no one went in there now. The toys would no longer dance, and the children never played anymore. What few toys that were left were carted off to museums long ago. They were now nothing more than artifacts.

You'd hear about the old town every once in a while. Maybe in a newspaper article, or a lesson in school. About the dangers of such a war, of all the innocent people who died there. Of the desolate hopelessness that still remains.

But no one ever spoke of the toys.
Of the little toy shop on Main Street, of all the magic and joy it held. No one knew of it's fluttering wolves or the blind old plushie who sculpted tiny mice out of cloth. Never of the kind old couple who ran the shop until their deaths, or the ambitious young man who revived the shop.
No one remembered the magic.

Why would anyone have any reason to believe any more?
In magic, in God, in much of anything, really. Happiness was hard to come by these days, even the most innocent of children felt the energy drain out of them. It was rare to see the children laughing and playing in the streets. Dangerous, even. No one dared breathe the tainted air. They remained inside, doing their best to shut out the poison that lay outside.
Even now, closed off in their homes, their breathes came in weak, tiny puffs. The government agencies and the TV programs could assure them it was safe, but the truth was plain to see. The bomb didn't simply end a war, it destroyed their lives. It robbed them of everything they had.
People once said that in times of crisis people would turn to religion to find answers and solace, but few kept their belief. But what God would treat their people so cruelly? Why would they leave so many prayers unanswered?
And if there was magic, why wouldn't it just show itself?

But somewhere, deep within that toy stop, lay a flickering beam of light. A memory of things past.
A remnant.
And beside that lay a puppet. A marionette, as they were once called. A device that, when manipulated by even the clumsiest of puppeteers, danced and hopped about as if it were alive. Long ago, back in the age before the meltdown, perhaps it actually was.
But now there was no life in the old puppet, no one left to pull at the strings.
It was nothing, now. Just a piece of rubble, a reminder of things past.

If one went to the museum they would find small, tattered looking plushies and old plastic dolls with singed hair and a dead look to their eyes. A plaque would read something along the lines of dancing magic toys, and a dull picture of what looked to be the toy shop.
But you would never see the toys dance as they did so long ago.
Some still told the stories of the shop, those few old enough and in good enough health to tell it.
Their eyes would gleam with child-like happiness and excitement, an unfamiliar and welcome sight in the colony. For a moment the world would brighten, and the children would stop coughing. Crowds would gather to hear the glorious old tales of days past.
Sometimes they'd tell of meadows and bright flowers, or of times when bright cartoons replaced the dismal news updates on the television, but somehow their stories always wandered back to the toys.

But then, something incredible happened. As things began to rebuild, so did their hope. As did the remnant, that tiny speck of magic grew more and more powerful.
And then that little puppet began to dance.

---

On the corner of Main Street there lies an old toy shop, a rickety, tarnished old shack.
And there, in that little toy shop, is where the magic returned.

Victoria ------------ and ------------ Rowena ------------ and ------------ Ophelia ------------ and ------------ Maxine

“I never thought that you would be one to marry, darling. And children, you – one of the most…” She cut her best friend off with a sharp gaze. They had been taking a walk in the park together, something that she hadn’t had time for over the last weeks. Dahlia - who had been chattering merrily until that second – sighed but obediently dropped the topic, only to switch to another one instantly. “Even Alice and James are jealous of you now. They’re married a bit longer now than you and your Gregor and they still only got two children. How old is little Victoria now…? Five, isn’t it?” – “You should know that, Dahlia, you are her godmother…” She still didn’t succeed in silencing the other woman. “Yes, but they’re growing so fast! You know, that’s why I would never want to look after my children all by myself! They’re awfully tiring. I don’t understand why you don’t hire a governess…”

“Mommy, Mommy!” The sound of little feet running over carpeted floor greeted her as soon as she closed the door behind her. “Look what I’ve done, Mommy!” A… something was shoved in her face. She wasn’t too sure what it was. It looked as if it could have been a cake, only that it was black and shiny all over – and it smelled of engine oil. It smelled quite strongly of engine oil. She sniffed disapproving and then forced herself to smile at her eldest daughter’s expecting face. “That’s very nice, dear. Did you make it all by yourself?” – “No, Geoffrey helped me with finding all the right things.”
That explained a lot. Geoffrey was one of the house keepers that her spouse had invented and her spouse had never been good at housekeeping. Neither were his robots. They meant no harm and really did their best, but they just couldn’t seem to grasp several differences between the robotic and the un-robotic nature. One time, Geoffrey had read somewhere in a paper that living beings needed iron too and he had consequently seasoned their supper with screws. He also still believed that ‘the masters’ needed engine oil and if she not told him every day that today she didn’t want engine oil in her food, he would stubbornly add it. Sometimes he even lectured her that she might rust if she continued to not drink her engine oil. At least he had believed her when she told him that children didn’t need engine oil yet and that she would tell them when they started to need it too.
“That is very nice of him, dear.” Victoria’s smile grew even broader, her eyes sparkling as she looked up hopefully at her mother. “Can we have tea together later?” She could sense the unsaid ‘I made the cake all for you’ hanging in the air. Oh great. “We’ll see”, she tried to get herself out of the situation alive and unharmed but Victoria’s eyes grew even wider. “Oh please, Mommy, pretty please… I promise I’ll stand still next time when I get a new dress fitted.” Her mother looked still rather wary – which Victoria wasn’t able to understand at all – so the girl tried to find something that her mother couldn’t resist. “I… I’ll not try to sneak in Daddy’s laboratory anymore. I won’t! I promise!”
She couldn’t resist her daughter’s pleading eyes anymore: “I’ll have Sophie set up a table in the conservatory… run along now and find Geoffrey. Tell him I need to speak to him.” – “Yes, Mommy! Will you give that to Sophie for me?” The something was shoved in her face again and she had to grab it in order not to see it falling on the floor and ruin the carpet. Her eldest was already nowhere to be seen. “Note to self: Have a talk with your daughter on the subject of acting in a more ladylike fashion.” The something was oozing engine oil, she noticed. Oh great.

“Don’t you want to send a letter to your family?” – “Do you?” – “Was? Nein!”
The children were finally sleeping peacefully. She just had finished reading their youngest, Maxine, a bed-time story (which the small girl couldn’t yet understand) when her spouse had silently entered the room to stand behind his wife and gaze down at the sleeping girl. For a while they both had watched their daughter sleep until he had spoken up in a whisper. No, she didn’t want to send a letter to her family just as little as he wanted to send one to his. They had different reasons though… his family knew that he had married, hers did not. However his family could get a little, well: overexcited at times and neither he nor her wanted to invite the horrors that ensued when a family like his was overexcited in their house at a time like this.
Her family probably wouldn’t even have approved of their marriage however. A foreigner as a husband? Heavens forbid! They probably hated her anyway, now that she had turned that Barnaby-fellow down that they had borne in mind for her. “Do you miss them?” His voice made her lift her head in surprise. It was scarce that he was that insightful. On most occasions he was too absentminded or scatterbrained to notice the world around him. “I miss Lily”, she admitted silently, the image of her younger sister appearing before her inner eye: “But I chose to live this way. I’ve got you, Gregor, I’ve got four perfect little daughters. I don’t need them anymore.”

Victoria, who had silently been playing with the twins until that moment, suddenly jumped up and came running towards her mother and the ladies they were holding the picnic with. “Rowena said something! Come on, Mommy, maybe she is going to do it again!” Of course not only her mother followed her back to the twins but the whole party did. After they had all gathered around the twins who were taking turns in snatching a flower out of the respective other’s hands, Victoria crouched down next to Rowena and pointed towards her twin sister. “Who is that, Rowena?” The toddler turned her head at her older sister, screwed her face up in concentration and answered gravely: “Uphee-la.”
As everyone around her started to smile and several “Awww…”s were heard, Rowena confirmed “Uphee-la!” a few times, looked around her and then started to beam as she noticed the smiling faces that were watching her. Some of the other ladies were looking as if they were to die of a sugar rush. Victoria was beaming too, proud of herself and the approving look her mother shot her before she knelt down in order to kiss Rowena’s head. Ophelia, not wanting to be left behind, added something along the lines of “Shooon bait”, leaned forwards and snatched the flower out of her sister’s hands.

“Gregor?” She flung the doors to her husband’s laboratory open, not caring that he jumped at the sudden noise and dropped a bag of nails to the floor. He turned around, staring at his wife with a look that seemed to change between surprise, disapproval and awe. Something was not quite right about her behaviour though he couldn’t put his finger on it (apart from the fact that she would normally knock before entering his realm, of course). “Did I do something wrong?”, he asked cautiously after taking her in for a few seconds. She had that certain look on her face that normally meant business.
“Why do you – never mind. Maxine is gone! I can’t find her anywhere, Victoria hasn’t seen her since yesterday evening, I can’t possibly ask the twins and neither Sophie nor Regine have the slightest idea where she could be!” She looked desperate, he noticed. Wanting to comfort her, he took a step towards her only to slip on the nails. I’m going to fall, he realised in a split second and indeed: Only a heartbeat later he found himself on the floor, a nail piercing into his cheek. “Gregor…?” – “No harm done! I’m fine!” He picked himself up again and smiled sheepishly at her.
“You’ve got a nail… there… no, deeper down – oh Gregor, what do we do?” He stopped, regarded the nail for a moment, carefully put it on a table and lifted his gaze to meet her eyes. “Have you been looking in the attic already?” She looked rather taken aback: “No. Why would I…?” – “Oh… I’ve just been thinking you could…” There was something he didn’t tell her, she could see as munch. However there were more important things right now – what if Maxine was really up there? “Excuse me.” And she was gone. He flinched as the heavy doors banged shut again and pulled a face at them. If she really was to find Maxine up there, he would likely be in for a week of disapproving glances. But that was nothing he couldn’t fix. After all, she was quite responsive to little bribes in the form of small, beautiful objects that he was so apt at making.
She had never been to the attic before and she felt a bit misplaced in there. After all, the attic and the basement were the two hearts of the house that kept the numerous machines working. Steam hissed somewhere left of her, the air was hot and humid and the scent of smoke was lingering under the roof. She coughed silently. Carefully, she weaved her way through the pipes, the valves and the occasional boiler, stopping every now and then to pause and listen or to call out to her youngest.
There! She was sure that she had heard something. “Maxine! Maxine, are you there?” A loud, rumbling purr answered her question and she stopped dead. Wait. What? The purr didn’t stop, it only got a bit louder. She felt a sense of presentment washing over her. Slowly she stepped around a boiler and – “You can’t be earnest…” A mechanical sabre-toothed tigress greeted her with a flick of her tail, her big head lazily laid back. A front paw rested against the boiler, the claws of the length of a human finger unsheated. At her belly, Maxine was sleeping peacefully. The robot slowly lifted its head and yawned. It nudged the child gently with its nose and Maxine awoke, started to laugh and grabbed the ear of the mechanical tigress. The purr grew even louder.

[author's comment] Now that Gregor and Evelyn have puppies (I'm still reeling with excitement!) I couldn't resist making a second part. I had a rather hard time though, it was difficult imagining them with children - but rather hilarious, too. I can't see a household as unfitting as this to raise proper little ladies... Kind of a sequel to my old Magic Toyshop Story, found here

Marionette & Remnant
