Orchidpaw
molly; 8 moons; russian blue w/ green eyes; mentions: Lavenderpaw; tags: open

Orchidpaw swiveled her head slowly, trying to pull her gaze away from her apparent new crush. "I-I'm sorry, uh, Oakfang." She muttered, finally prying her gaze away from the other apprentice and locking eyes with the warrior. "What can I help with?" She was being oddly polite. Normally, if her mind didn't just get turned to mush, she would have said something snappy or witty. Just not today, she reasoned. Not today, especially not now when her legs were all wobbly and she just realised that apparently she likes mollies too even though that seemed impossible.

Vixennight

molly; 17 moons; pale silver tabby w/ yellow eyes; mentions: none; tags: open

Vixennight patrolled lonesome that day. Behind her, a trailed air scented of sage-and-lavender. The silver tabby lifted her muzzle to the sky, staring at the clouds. They drifted above her head, half-filled with rain and lazily slow.

spacespaceSpiderclaw stretched, unsheathing his claws and reaching far around him with his long, lithe legs. It took him a moment to get up as he ran over the previous events in his head. The terrible quaking in the camp had everyone sneezing and coughing. The tom had also been standing vigil beside Frostpaw right at dawn, mourning the loss of his mother like the rest of the clan. Soon after, he had crawled back into his nest. Spiderclaw had idly wondered if they could have saved the silver tabby if he had remembered or said something.

spacespaceSpiderclaw shook the thought out of his head quickly, removing the thought. No cat could have done anything, he recalled. He blinked rapidly to banish sleep from his eyes. After an even longer stretch, the tom stood up and left his nest. His glowing yellow-green eyes watched his clanmates around him carefully.

spacespaceAfter a thoughtful hmm, he swept the floor of the camp quickly with his gaze. There was some cleaning to do, that was clear. Spiderclaw walked purposefully around, swaying his hips and tail as he did so as he looked for the rocks and debris on the ground. Some of these were sharp, and he didn't want anyone to catch a torn pad. The tom supposed he could be on cleanup duty until asked to do join some sort of patrol. He didn't necessarily expect anyone would come to him for idle chatter.

spacespace Mapleberry had been awake long before all of her clanmates. She was studiously grooming herself as she looked around. It wasn't private knowledge that she was distraught, it was written on her droopy features. The molly felt awful for Dovemourn's death, especially of- Mapleberry stopped her train of thought and tongue mid-lick. It didn't matter what the warrior had been like, it was a terrible thing to lose anyone. She sighed and hung her head lower, looking at her dirty paws.

spacespace "I feel so useless.." Mapleberry mumbled quietly as her tail lashed back and forth, collecting dust. She let out a great big sigh and stretched, heading for the stream that ran through camp. She glanced at a familiar color in the corner of her eye. Spiderclaw was just leaving his nest. She twitched her whiskers and diverted her attention to her paws.

spacespace After reaching the stream, the molly leaned down to sniff the water. It looked a bit of a darker tint than usual, causing her to wrinkle her nose. Mapleberry dipped a paw in and then started vigorously licking it until the grime was nearly gone. The molly zoned out as she did so with her other paw, wondering if the other cats on the patrol last night were doing okay. Speaking of which, she turned her head to the familiar voice of Faircrown. She watched as he went out of his way to speak with Duskbreeze and smiled lightly.

spacespace Swallowflight was currently resting his eyes in his nest. He curled up, vaguely noticing Flamepetal leave earlier. After waking up and sitting vigil, the old tom wanted nothing more than to relax. The day had been hard enough already, with the loss of a promising warrior and an ominous quake that shook the mountain.

spacespace He could see it already- a chilling horror tale that would make kits shiver in fright! The Mountain Shaker, a beast raising from the depths of the mountain to claim his territory over the clan! When it growled, the whole mountain shook.

spacespace Swallowflight yawned and opened his eyes a little, staring outside of his den. The camp was bustling without him, of course, and the tom didn't really like that. He preferred to stay on top of things, however much he'd like to sit and daydream about stories he could tell to future kittens. With a stretch and a few pops, Swallowflight left his warm nest.

spacespace He spotted his daughter instantly, much to her annoyance. The tom chuckled as he cuffed her lightly around the ear and began cleaning off fur that was just as tangled as his. When she left, he found himself cleaning some dirt between his toes absentmindedly as he watched everyone around him.

spacespace Briarpaw was restless as always, looking around camp with her bright eyes. After a refreshingly long catnap, she was very ready to move. She unsheathed her claws and kneaded the dirty camp floor beneath her with a lashing tail and searching eyes.

spacespace When she saw her father, her ears flattened and her tail swept the air even quicker. "Dad," Briarpaw mewed as he got closer, "no-" She scoffed as he cuffed her around the ear and begrudgingly let him groom her. His paw was tight around her side, removing the ability for an easy escape. However, when he started licking her chest, she drew the line."Stop! You're gonna mess up my mane!" Briarpaw lightly hissed and twisted out of his reach.

spacespace The apprentice grumbled and licked her chest herself, making sure it looked as usual. Her long and fluffy tail waved in the air behind her. The molly wasn't really sure what to do, it's not as recent events were natural. Briarpaw instead sat on her haunches and started to knead the ground beneath her again. Waiting to be told what to do was driving her insane! She felt as if she was going to bounce off the walls soon.

Scarabstar nodded thoughtfully as the medicine cat began to speak, his eyes fixing on some spot on the other side of the cave. He was pleased that Brightnoise was thinking the same thing as him: he himself had just been about to extend Timber an invitation to stay with the Clan when he first spoke with her, but they had been interrupted by Frostpaw and Lavenderpaw's return with Dovemourn's body. "I feel the same way," he replied, still staring. After a moment or two, his eyes gained sight and he frowned at the sight of so many cats up and about, but no deputy to be seen. Must have slept in! Scarabstar thought with a flick of his tail tip; so, he wasn't the only one failing at his duties. All was well, though: he could see to the patrols himself.

When Brightnoise posed her question, Scarabstar looked to his paws, his expression sobering. He had been chosen as Clan deputy for his strategy and foresight, his ability to consider every option and outcome -- his plans hardly knew failure or error. But at the same time, he struggled with immediate action. He needed time to think things thoroughly, and there was no denying that yesterday's major events had sent his mind reeling, desperate to find something he knew he could address. "I do not blame myself for the actions of the twolegsโ€ฆ" he said slowly, "But there is no denying that I forgot about one of my own warriors, Dovemourn. While we were here, recovering, her son and another apprentice were out searching for her. I should have known...."

Scarabstar sighed but after a moment steeled his shoulders and turned towards the clan. "BearClan! You may organize yourselves into patrols today. Stay away from the explosion sight, and keep an eye out for any outsiders who may have been drawn to it, as well as twolegs. If anyone can find marigold, make sure to bring some back, as Brightnoise's patch was destroyed." He paused to make sure his demands were heard before he turned back to the medicine cat, awaiting her answer and wondering what she would tell him.

Plumsparrow's head snapped up from her meal as she heard Scarabstar address the clan, ordering them to form their own patrols. She shivered as he advised them to be aware of twolegs and other cats, imagining BearClan territory swarming with the attention that the explosion might have brought. The bicolored molly shook her head. Everything was probably fine, but she would leave the investigating to other cats: right now, she wanted to hunt and make sure her Clan had plenty of prey to soothe their weary minds. Looking around, she saw Sparrowtail grooming himself a couple of foxlengths away, lost in thought. Apprehension tugged at her belly and she sat and stared at him for a moment, rehearsing what she would say to him when she approached.

Hey, Sparrowtail, let's go hunting. We can find some others to join us. Yes, that would do fine, as long as she could repeat it. Taking a deep breath, Plumsparrow eased over to the tom, swallowing nervously. "Hey, Sparrowtail, let's go h-out. out? I mean-" she blanched. "Hunting. We should go hunting, on a patrol? With uh...hey, Raingaze!" she called to the other tom, 'Wanna hunt with us?" Plumsparrow kneaded her paws on the stony ground, her pelt burning with embarrassment.

Quilldown squeezed out of the warriors' den, blinking tired green eyes. He was late to rise, but it didn't seem like any patrols had been sent out yet, so he wasn't all that concerned about receiving any sort of judgmental looks from his clanmates. Even better, he had no apprentice that would have had to wait for him to rise.

The large tom bent himself into a deep stretch before stopping to tease bits of nest material from his pelt. Quilldown was normally a pristine snowy white, his fur as soft as the down of a bird, but now it was matted and gray from the dust of yesterday's events. His paws were still sore from trekking back and forth on the cave floor, helping to clear away the rubble, and then from having gone out hunting to fill his clanmates' hungry bellies. He couldn't imagine how his father might be feeling right now.

After he was somewhat satisfied with appearance, Quilldown rose and strode over to his father, who was speaking to Thrushfeather at the moment. "Something about a patrol? I would love to join, if you'll have me." It had been awhile since he had been out with his father, and Quilldown was interested in what Cloudburst thought of yesterday's events; they hadn't the chance to speak much with all the buzz in camp.

    ๐š•๐šŠ๐šŸ๐šŽ๐š—๐š๐šŽ๐š›๐š™๐šŠ๐š  โ€” [หˆlavษ™ndษ™r - pรด] โ€” 10 moons

location: camp | tags: firefang; orchidpaw mentioned
Lavenderpaw was half-listening to Firefang as he began to speak. She could feel eyes burning into her pelt. Blue gaze scanning the camp, she landed on Orchidpaw a heartbeat before the blue molly turned to speak to her mentor, Oakfang. The apprentice frowned. What did she want? Lavenderpaw wasn't particularly friendly with the other apprentices; she was a lot like an older sister to them: bossy, critical, and teasing, but still willing to stand up for them and stop them from squabbing amonst themselves like magpies. Maybe Orchidpaw was just recalling the fact that Lavenderpaw had strode into camp with a dead cat on her back just last night.

Something Firefang said snapped her attention immediately back. 'As your father would want.' How dare he? Lavenderpaw thought she had made it clear, moons ago, that no cat was to speak to her about her father. It took every ounce of muscle to keep herself from swiping at her mentor and to keep her face from contorting into an outraged snarl. Good thing Firefang had his back to her.

The siamese stood and prowled after her mentor with the fire of TigerClan rippling beneath her pelt. When he looked back at her she smiled and nodded respectfully even though what he asked of her was something she'd learned moons ago. "A kinked tail signals attack, a low sweeping tail means 'spread out,' a bob means enemy spotted..." she continued until she got through them all, demonstrating each as she did. Firefang continued on again and she followed with a flick of her ears. "My weak areas?" she echoed, sidestepping a clump of nettles. "Well, I'm tall for my age, so I move fast and move quickly but that means I'm better suited for offensive long-range attacks. Fighting up close would be my weakness, therefore, my enemies would likely exploit this by an ambush attack, where they can leap and catch me unawares and keep me from escaping their grasp, where I would have an advantage."

Dewfreckle
Warrior//At the camp//mentions:none//tags:Cricketpaw

Dewfreckle nodded in agreement, so hunting was not the chosen for today training season. The tom opened his mouth to say something to Cricketpaw when Scarabstar made his announcement to the clan. It was decided that each cat could organize themselves in the patrols that would rather do or think that is needed the most. Surely the hunting patrol was out of question for now since they are going to focus on other skills, but which skill is needed the most for now? The silver cat thought for a bit, they could join a border patrol but more explosions could happen which could led both of them get injured, the clan don't needed more problems for now.
Dewfreckle knew that the young she-cat was not good in battle or perhaps didn't yet find her own battle style, that could a good thing for today after all if the clan is just now starting to get organized and recover from the shock imagine the predators like foxes that don't have a clan that can support them? Surely they are going to get agitated which could lead quickly to attacks.
The spotted cat nodded to himself with his decision in mind, gesturing with his tail at the outside of the camp, walking slowly to the entrance so that his apprentice could catch up.

Flamepetal
Elder//At the camp//mentions:none//tags:Spiderclaw

Sitting around andwatching the camp was starting to get boring, even if she was a elder which could lead to most cats think that she slept all day, sometimes this was true but it due to her age, if she could she would go hunting and bring prey to her clan but only if her body would allow her. Yawning the red-brown she-cat looked around the camp so that at least she could do something before taking a nap or something similar in her nest.
That was when her green eyes landed on Spiderclaw, the red warrior was walking around looking at the rocks that are left because of the events of yesterday, cleaning the camp was a good idea since it didn't need a lot strength and with that done she helped her clan in a way even if is a small one compared to other duties. Flamepetal gave a short sprint to the tom but still was careful to not step on anything or bump into any cat, when she was close to Spiderclaw she stopped, a little out of breath but she tried her best to let her look that way, with a friendly look and a grin she asked him ''Are you going to clean the camp? Can I join you?''

the tom was quiet as he left the camp, he was thinking of what to do with frostpaw, knowing that he would need to be a little creative to catch the tom off guard rather than do simple face to face training. they kept a steady pace and it wasn't until frostpaw spoke that he paused but only for a moment. "you'll see." he said to his apprentice before picking up the pace without warning.

the black feline broke into a run and made a sharp turn, aiming to get out of his apprentice's sight. if he was successful the plan was to loop around and come up behind him. sure, he left a scent to be followed but elmtooth also didn't leave an easy clear path. the tom began to slow as he reached the point in where he would need to be quiet. he moved slowly and with ease, searching out his apprentice through the forest, waiting for the right moment to strike and springing forward when he saw that opening.

His tail flicked over the ears of his apprentice, trying to snap her out of whatever phase she was in. Hopefully it won't affect her training. The tom watched as the older apprentice left camp, and hopefully also leaving his apprentice's thoughts. Oakfang was about to meow something to his apprentice about sparring, but Scarabstar's announcement shifted his thoughts. Marigold eh? That'll have her focusing on tracking.. watching her paws.. Seems pretty good to me.

"We're gonna go look for marigold for Brightnoise. If we have time later we might do some sparring."

Without waiting for an acknowledgement, Oakfang twitched his tail for his apprentice to follow and began to walk out of the camp. He didn't really know the first thing about looking for the herb, but it shouldn't be that hard right? Stepping outside of the camp, the particles still hanging in the air tickled his noise. The area smelled heavily of dirt. Maybe this will be harder than I first thought. Oakfang paused for a moment, revelling in the sun's warm, forgiving rays of heat, and waited for his apprentice to appear next to him.

She let out a small "purrp" of amusement. "That would be a great idea! How's Dapplepaw doing, if I may ask?" Thrushfeather wondered how all the apprentices were processing the current events. If this happened when she was an apprentice, she would definitely be a huge scaredy-cat nowadays.

The sound of another catโ€™s paw steps made her turn towards the source. Cloudburstโ€™s son had come up to them, asking to join their little hunting brigade. โ€œOf course!โ€œ she meowed. โ€œWe were just planning on going hunting and the more paws the better.โ€œ

Her ears perked up at the sound of Scarabstar and his announcement. "Oh, well, I guess there's no need to ask him then. We already have our answer," she offered. Where had the deputy gone? Perhaps it is a hard time for them too. Even those most unaffected still seem pretty out of it. The she-cat looked around for her brother again, this time checking to see if he had appeared anywhere and was doing okay. Her brother was grooming himself far-off in the back of the cave and a pretty she-cat had just joined him. He must be doing just fine she thought with amusement.

Her attention turned back to the two toms, and the thought of hunting. Juicy prey, stretching her muscles, just thinking of it made her pelt puff slightly with excitement. The thought of Twolegs didn't even bother her. They probably wouldn't even be active, they awake so late in the day. Maybe. Probably. Right? Either way, as long as they don't hunt too close to anywhere they've been they should be fine.

Sparrowtail didn't even hear the pawsteps of Plumsparrow approaching until she was right beside him. He looked up and felt his pelt burn slightly as she asked if he wanted to go out, and felt it ease as she clarified hunting. His whiskers twitched in amusement, and replied smartly. "If you want to go out, all you have to do is say so, don't need to cover it up with hunting." The tom eased himself to his paws, and gave one long yawn and a stretch, thankful to do something. "Hunting sounds great. Got any ideas of where you'd wanna try?"

His white fur was still slightly off-white, even though he'd been grooming for a bit. The taste of dust and debris suddenly became very clear as he came back into all of his senses. A bite of prey or a little bit of water should help with that. He watched the she-cat and her nervous behaviors, and gently touched her shoulder with his tail. "Don't worry about it." Unsure of how exactly to help, that's all he said and left it at that as he waited for the other tom she mentioned to join them.

Speckledpaw looked around camp and noted that Briarpaw was off to the side. He had looked just in time to see her dad come over and carry on his fatherly duties, which included giving the apprentice a quick bath. Speckledpaw chuckled and rose up onto his haunches, figuring that if his mentor was busy at the moment then there was no harm in complying to some chit-chat with another cat. His tail flicked behind him as he made his way over to Briarpaw, upon approaching he mimicked Briarpaw's weak protest from before, "Dad stop," He said with a laugh and sat down with a smile. "How are you holding up?" He asked the fellow apprentice and made a glance in Swallowflight's direction, even as an older apprentice he found himself looking to the direction of his elders. He shook his head as his gaze found its way back to Briarpaw who seemed annoyed, reasonably so. Had his parent done the same thing he probably would have swatted at their nose in embarrassment, being an apprentice meant transitioning from being a kit to a warrior, critical and crucial to the development of the clan. After a moments silence Speckledpaw followed his question up with another, "Do you think any other warrior would be willing to follow us out, and we can go hunt or practice fighting, anything to put our energy into good efforts rather than idly sitting around in camp?" He asked and flicked his tail with bottled up energy.

note: I changed dapplepaw to speckledpaw so that there were fewer mollies in the apprentice section c:

Firefang noted the change in tone from his apprentice, then cursed under his breath. The night before had made him slip up, he had mentioned Lavenderpaw's father without even thinking, how careless could he be? With that, Firefang threw a glance behind him, noting the tension underneath Lavenderpaw's pelt. At first, the tom made to make a comment in an attempt to apologize to the young molly, but then held back. Hopefully he hadn't screwed up too bad, but for now he would move forward. As the apprentice spoke, moving through the tail signals with ease he nodded his head, but gave little acknowledgment otherwise of a well-done job. He knew that for other apprentices praise may be important in their learning, but Lavenderpaw was different, and he knew that she would pressure herself if she messed up or was not up to par with what the clan or leader expected, so the nod was sufficient of a response. The conversation then quickly changed directions as she continued to answer his second question, to which Friefang smiled to himself. To him, it was good when an apprentice, even warrior, could recognize their weaknesses. This meant they were not self-abosrbed and open to having room for improvement. However, again Firefang only moved his head and flicked an ear to show that he had heard her response.

Firefang suddenly stopped and faced Lavenderpaw, his face showing little emotion as he spoke, "However, I think sparring with me would be too easy of training, you are well-developed and as we reach higher training, that means you more of challenge to further enhance your skills." While speaking Firefang's mind raced through possible options they could take on. There was always fighting on loose gravel, that would test the apprentice's balance as well as ability to strike within in close quarters. Yet, Firefang wanted to further challenge Lavenderpaw, he knew that through their time training their relationship had remained cordial, so he always trained to remain optimistic and assured in his words, that way Lavenderpaw would better achieve her goals. In this train of though Firefang caught an idea. "I want you to run, climb, go wherever." He stated simply then cocked his head. "Once I give you a head start I'll follow, but, as you mentioned in your evaluation of yourself, your weak spot is an ambush attack, so be prepared. Remember, keep your movements controlled and force behind each one, and since I am larger than you, it is beneficial to make low blows that will knock me down." He then flicked his tail, motioning for the molly to go.

spacespaceSpiderclaw briefly wondered where he'd put all of these. After that moment of consideration, he just thought he'd dig a hole somewhere outside camp. It's not like most of the debris was too massive. He leaned down and picked up another rock gently. Spiderclaw then carried it to his little pile on the side of camp, where no one was sure to step on it while it was still in its young stages. He figured the more he added to it the less he'd have to worry.

spacespaceThe tom lifted his head when he noticed a cat approaching him. He regarded the reddish brown molly quietly as she spoke. As a response, he inclined his head respectfully. "Yes, I am. And you may." Spiderclaw flicked an ear and gestured with a paw where the pile was going to be. "I'm putting everything over there. I thought it'd be best if it was out of the way. Afterwards I can dig a hole somewhere outside camp and bury it all."

spacespaceHe lifted his head up when Scarabstar spoke out and quieted. Spiderclaw flattened his ears slightly at the thought of the explosion site. He looked at the elder behind him silently. The tom wondered if it was possible to go search for marigold, but he would have to do it later. At these times especially, they had to take good care of their elders.

spacespace Briarpaw whipped her head in Speckledpaw's direction. She lifted her chin in the air and averted her gaze in a pout as he quoted her previously. "Oh whatever," The molly grumbled to herself, "you would've done the same." Her long fur, which stuck up in all directions, seemed to heat up in embarrassment. Briarpaw sat and shuffled her paws, curling her tail over them.

spacespace "I'm actually doing okay though, I got out with just a few sneezes and coughs." She followed Speckledpaw's look, and her gaze lingered on her father. Despite being babied by him still, she loved the mangy old thing. With a soft mew of amusement, she looked back at the other apprentice. "What about you?" Briarpaw wondered. The molly looked down and up Speckledpaw, looking for signs of injury or turmoil.

spacespace It appeared it didn't take long for her to bound back on her feet. "Yes! Anything!" Her tail waved excitedly behind her as she looked around for any warrior. Briarpaw wished for the day that she wouldn't need an escort, but especially in these times, she wasn't going to argue. "Who do you think would be willing?" She mewed, tilting her head in thought. "Most of the mentors have already taken their apprentices outside. It does seem like everyone is getting in little groups, though. Maybe we could tag along?"

spacespace Briarpaw's tail lashed to and fro as she thought. Cloudburst, Thrushfeather, and Quilldown were discussing a hunting patrol. Plumsparrow also seemed to be doing the same, with Raingaze and Sparrowtail. "It doesn't seem as if hunting is necessary," The molly pointed her tail in a gesture at the other parties forming, "I wonder if we could patrol our borders? Or practice fighting." She flexed her claws at the thought. However, that didn't fix their problem of needing a warrior.

Duskbreeze
mentions: Flamepetal tags: Faircrown
The black-furred tom twitched his ears at the sound of pawsteps. He was just about to look up from his shoulder when a bulky mass of ginger fluff bumped into his side, making him nip his tongue just a bit. Duskbreeze was about to snap at the tom, but before he could say anything, Faircrown began meowing. He would ask questions, but as soon as Duskbreeze was about to reply, he would start meowing again. What a noisy cat! Duskbreeze thought, one of his ears twisting backwards in slight annoyance. He bristled just slightly when Faircrown mentioned the scratch on his shoulder and leaned closer to sniff at it. Just then Scaradstar made an announcement. When he was done, Duskbreeze took the opportunity to answer Faircrown.

"I'm good," he began. "Thanks, though. I'm keeping it pretty clean. It isn't deep and hardly bled at all; it barely even hurts. If it were any deeper, I'd mention it to Brightnoise, but I don't want to bother her right now. I imagine she has enough to deal with. He paused for a moment and drew in a breath. He knew that Faircrown meant well, and there wasn't anything to be grumpy about except for the tip of his aching tongue. And some cool water does sound pretty good... "Since we can choose our own patrols, I'll go with you, Faircrown," Duskbreeze meowed, slowly rising to his paws and arching his back in a big stretch and yawn. "Maybe we can bring some prey back or some water-soaked moss for Flamepetal while we're at it"

Cricketpaw
tags: Dewfreckle
She quickly rose to her paws and bounced after Dewfreckle, happy to get going. She followed along beside him, letting him lead the way. The tabby she-cat allowed her mind to wonder as she walked beside the silver tom, happily swaying her tail to and fro. She was glad to be doing something that wasn't cleaning. As much as she liked to help, her paws were sore from pushing rocks around. She instinctively listened for prey as she padded along, and also for anything Dewfreckle might say on the way.

Raingaze
mentions: Sparrowtail tags: Plumsparrow
The silvery tom's big ears perked up at the sound of his name being called. He immediately got up on his big white paws and padded toward Plumsparrow and Sparrowtail. He dipped his head happily to the pretty she-cat and to the other tom. "I'd love to hunt!" Raingaze purred. His blue-grey eyes flicked from her face, to her kneading paws, and back to her face. She must be anxious to get going, he thought. "Lead the way whenever you're ready!" Raingaze put a friendly smile on his muzzle in hopes of calming her just a bit; perhaps to make her more comfortable.

Dewfreckle
Warrior//At the camp//mentions:none//tags:Cricketpaw

Dewfreckle looked back at his apprentice that was excited behind him, a good thing that she was in good humor or at least willing to do something, around her age he was quiet but came running when he heard from his mentor that they are going to train or that he was in a patrol, today he is a more quiet and reserved cat. Interesting enough the warrior when was hunting he is better at outrunning his prey than waiting for the right moment to pounce while approaching quietly from behind.
Chuckling at himself he walked forward in the territory, his paws feeling the ground and grass below as his ears listened for any noise around them, the plan for now was to find a good space to train. Walking a little more he stopped as he looked around, the place was a little 'clean' from the undergrowth which don't meant a lot but he was sure that his apprentice could see him clearly, the silver tom held his tail erect as a sort of way to tell Cricketpaw to stop.
''Did you heard anything or smelled anything unusual?'' Dewfreckle asked, turning his body to meet her gaze.

Flamepetal
Elder//At the camp//mentions:none//tags:Spiderclaw

Flamepetal nodded as she listened to the tom, her green eyes gave a quick look at the small pile of the rocks that stayed in a place where she figured that Spiderclaw choose that place because it had a seldom chance of a cat tripping and hurting themselves, she gave a small flick of her tail before starting to clean the camp, looking around for a bit before finding a small rock near the river that cut the camp, with a small smirk that said 'got you!' she picked piece with her mouth, being carefully to not let it go before padding to the pile, looking back she noticed that the red tom was looking at her, she gave him a proud pose mostly to try to make a joke and put a smile on his face before putting the rock on the pile.
