Yeah, I don't use social media, but I do know people there over exaggerate things ALL. THE. TIME. So when people's lives look happy and perfect, it's just not that way. There's a song I know, it's called Everybody's Fool, by Evanescence. There's one very short part in the lyrics that your post reminded me of.

The 'No flaws when your pretending' is huge, and not just because of people's lies on social media. It's a very good song, and I urge you to go check it out. It's easier when you have a lyric video, or are reading it on another page as the song is playing. Another good one by them is Tourniquet.
