Cats come in all shapes sizes and colors in this Fellowship, with just a few differences:
1) When cats are born their eyes are pure black and they do not have a forehead marking, generally if they show any kind of mutation at birth, it can be an indicator of what element they will be gifted with; but, this is not always the case.
2) When a kitten is ready to become a student, their eyes change to a color that corresponds to what element they are gifted with.
3) When a cat is ready to become a full Mage, they gain a marking in the color of their element that is individual to each cat.
4) When a cat is promoted to The High Council, they gain the Mark of Nyx on their chest in the same color as their element.
5) When a cat retires from The High Council, they loose the chest marking and it is given to their replacement.
Purple for Spirit, Red for Fire, Blue for Water, Green for Nature, Yellow for Air.
The Mark of Nyx is a round circle to represent the Full Moon with a Waxing Crescent Moon on one side and a Waning Crescent Moon on the other.
