- all the rabbits are played with, graham cracker and domino especially seem to enjoy cuddles!

- iris is let out into one of the spacious avian pens to stretch her wings

⋯ an older gentleman enters the shelter carrying an old crate, inside rests two birds he'd successfully rescued from his own canine. one of the birds, two pygmy owls, is injured and will need to visit the vet if it is accepted by the shelter; they will need to pay 3 coins for the veterinarian however.
⋯ whilst out playing with squirt, the staff member notices movement beneath a small bush and hears quiet meows! upon closer inspection, the staff member uncovers two abandoned abyssinian kittens!!
⋯ oh what luck! before the day ends for the shelter, a young woman eagerly rambles to the staff member in reception about the adorable monk parakeet she'd heard of!

cascade is let out on a special trail for her to hunt as enrichment. she seems to enjoy the break from the rambunctious new twins.
jakob and hope are let out on a mountain trail for them to climb. they get out most of their energy and sleep the entire of the afternoon.
shasta and doka are given a large tire to play with. shasta seems very motherly towards the new cub, even though they are different species.

↳↳↳ cody, katherine and anil hear several people talking in town about a man who took off and hasn't been back to his home in about two weeks. he also happens to own several large cat breeds. it takes a couple of hours but the trio manage to get a hold of the man and he agrees to surrender one of his large cats but refuses to give up the others. maybe they can get the others if they keep calling the man.

⋯ a rather confused older man contacts the shelter regarding two dogs he had rescued from beside the long stretching highway, with his best intentions at heart. however he feels rather weary of the canines after observing their rather .... wild like behaviour. when the staff members arrive on the property, they almost can't hold back their surprised laughter as two energetic wild dingos run around the enclosed backyard. the two are transported safely back to the shelter without any trouble!
⋯ oh shoot! a staff member panics as a sharp pained noise sounds from Kaze as the ocelot rolls around. shocked and confused the staff monitor the wild cat for a while and begin noticing how she seems to be almost nursing her left side, how odd.
↪ it seems the ocelot Kaze may be injured, the shelter can take her to vet for a payment fee of 3 coins! they have the option of leaving her for awhile to see if the pain may pass, but should be aware it could have some unfortunate outcomes!
⋯ the shelter receives a troubled call from an open-range park a long drive away regarding an unfortunate fight for dominance between two females of their hyena clan, they have a last surviving pup from the scattered litter and are desperate to find a suitable home for the young pup to grow safely away from the clan.

↪ noted the two owls will go together! aging depends on you! it seems most shelter owners have decided to age 1 month per post ^^, yes we do allow shelter restarts! and you are able to transfer animals with you, much like in the original CA game
⋯ an odd box of sorts waits idly in front of the shelter's doors come morning, upon one of the shelter staff coming across it a seemingly young cinnamon ferret spokes their head timidly out of the box and startles the staff member!
⋯ the waiting room is later occupied by a small family, their teen aged daughter craddling a small crate close to her chest, her eyes appear puffy and sparkling with tears, poor dear! she tearfully hands over the crate containing a silverback ferret and her white marked pup, having decided to give them the chance at a home more suited
⋯ oh! a young boy and his mother stand by the front desk of the shelter waiting patiently to meet the sable ferret they'd read about, the young boy rambles excitedly whilst his mother smiles fondly with her own small hint of excitement
