”Good.” Having herbs ready for the day the queen kitted would be essential; especially if their future was clouded for the time being. “Too long Sparkpaw, but sometimes silence is better than danger. Come now, I want both of you to hear this. I expect you to keep quiet about this otherwise, understood? Last thing we need is every warrior in camp getting involved.” Despite her tough behavior, she did trust both of her apprentices whole heartedly. Both were young, but certainly not brainless. Leaving the comfort of her den once more, she spots Pikestar with no problem and pads to his side. The look in his eye suggested he’d already had an action in mind; he was an active type it seemed. “Sorry to bug you, but we need to discuss something in your den promptly.”

He looks up from his mostly eaten prey towards Jaydapple, guessing he was feeling a little restless even this early. He yawns, needed to catch a little nap before sunhigh since he’d been up all night. A better cat might have asked for help with their apprentice, but he had no doubts Leafpaw and Mothpaw would do some training together if he took the morning off. He ducks into the warriors den, glancing at Sleekfang and Hawkclaw before settling in his nest with hopes of closing his eyes for a little while.

Seemed Everyone was feeling a little social this morning, it made him happy to think most cats were getting along. There were many young warriors now, fox attacks having taken a few lives among other misfortunes in the past few moons. He listens to Jaydapple, considering joining them but not wanting to overcrowd the patrol either. Iceblood seemed worried from across camp as she approached Pikestar; maybe it was best to leave camp before that storm brewed. His whiskers twitched wondering if Sleekfang was awake to join him in a patrol; since he enjoyed her company as well as her friend Hawkclaw.

The fluffy black she-cat was in her feet and ready at the call of the older warrior. The morning was perfect for catching birds and mice; it’d be a waste not to enjoy the good while it was running. “I’ll come too if that’s alright!” That meant possibly Maplepaw getting drug along as well, or depending on how the morning went, a longer patrol near sunhigh. She was slightly jealous she didn’t have an apprentice of her own, but she was still young. She approached the two warriors, letting her thoughts settle a little looking out at the bright day.

He sighed, a bit embarrassed and holding his paws to his forehead. "I'll keep alert for next time. This isn't the kind of thing I should have slept in on!" he said, looking up at Iceblood again with determination in his eyes. "I'll say nothing." He pantomimed sealing his lips before following Iceblood out of the den, moving at a faster pace to keep up with his mentor's head start.

Leopardstep looked from cat to cat- the group was getting a bit too large for just a simple conversation. "How about we all go do something useful?" she suggested- it would keep her from having to talk to Goldenclaw, either way. Something about the tom bothered her, and a hunt was always good to relieve tension. She turned towards Jaydapple with another greeting wave of her tail- even if they didn't want to go out, she doubted she could be in camp long without feeling the urge to leave.

Morningleap attention was caught, certainly the hunting patrols are going out now, that could be a good opportunity to do something, he was in the camp entrance but he was not in guard duty.
Standing now, he noticed that more cats had the same idea as him, the group was getting large, the warrior was certainly not good with large groups and a hunting party this large would make it harder to hunt. The ginger and white tom looked down on his paws, deciding if he was going to join or not.
Maybe he could try to join or he was probably going to join a border patrol.Morningleap walked to the older tom, greeting him with a wave of his tail as he sat down, his eyes on Jaydapple to see if he was going to say something.

Lightdawn looked at Leopardstep. She didn't mind the idea. She looked over at Duskmoon. She seemed like she was in a hurry, maybe she didn't want to talk.. She looked at Goldenclaw who was then going. She didn't want to slack off or look like it. " Well, see you later Leopardstep! " She walked over to Jaydapple and said " I would like to join! " She looked at Duskmoon. Maybe she can try to talk to her later..? She looked at the others. This was a decent amount of cats. She wondered who else was going to join. She looked at Morningleap and wondered if should talk to him as well. She wants to get to know more cats. Of course, she may not get along with some but that's alright.

He was early out and catch some prey, dropping some of them to the fresh-kill pile than to the biggest prey toward the nursery to his sister "Good morning Seabrook" he meowed quietly, but enough for the queen to hear him "I was out and had a very good catch so I thought you could want some, here this could be big enough for you and your kits" he meowed to her dropping the prey down.

She was laying at her nest not sleeping, but just keeping her eyes shut and relaxing, her ears flicked as she listened to the voices coming outside of the nursery, recognizing her brother's nearing scent. She opened her eyes to look toward the tom as he started to speak "you sure had great catches Lockripple, almost feel bad to eat that good-sized prey" she purred to him, standing up to sit "Thank you, this sure is big enough for us" she meowed to him with a smile.

He stayed near the warrior's den as he just got out of it and focused to clean his morning messy pelt before preparing for the dawn thinks, he could be doing soon. Perking his ears toward Jaydapple asking the cats if any of them wanted to join him "I could join too" he meowed, but recognized how many cats were interested in the toms to offer "if there is still space left of course" he meowed.

The young warrior was still at his nest, flicking his ears to listen to what the cats were speaking outside of the den, or what he heard down there. He heard the loud call for Jaydapple, but ignored the offer, for now, he was not interested in group patrols, one or two cats going out with him were fine, but more than that started to feel rather distressed to him.

She got out of the apprentice's den yawning she took a look toward Mothpaw and the sleeping figure of Leafpaw, a weak smile come to her mouth 'it much to be great to have siblings' she thought herself, walking past the two apprentices turning to look ay Kestreldawn as she walked to speak with her apprentice Mothpaw. She could find her mentor as well, when noticed the tom watching the clan "Hay Wrenfoot, any plans for today or now?" she meowed approving the warrior.

Nightpaw got off the apprentice tom as soon as his eyes opened, her attention back on her mentor, "Of course, Iceblood." She dipped her head in agreement after casting a questioning glance at Sparkpaw. The she-cat lagged behind for a second as she thought of the secrecy required, ultimately leaving the den last & trailing behind the other two wordlessly, observing the waking clan as she padded across the camp with a poker face on her features. She glanced around as Iceblood spoke with Pikestar, making sure no one paid them any mind.

The gathering group of cats was nothing short of amusing; feeling glad he'd stayed out of it. As much as he loved his clan mates, they were a little too active sometimes for their own good. The pale tom turns to the new voice, knowing the meow of his apprentice anywhere. "Good morning to you too." He sits down, curling his tail around his paws and thinking for a moment. "I think some of the warriors could use more bedding later today, but I was considering some ambush battle tactics today if you feel up to it." He knew the young cat to be fairly flexible when she wanted to be, but always made a note to value her opinion.
