⋯ your rescues are settling in nicely and seem to be enjoying life at montgomery bound, well done! you have two more posts before you need to begin gathering food for the animals
⋯ while out walking burr the staff member is startled as the shepherd suddenly begins barking and tries to rush towards a section of bushes beside the path! upon a rather wary closer inspection, the staff locates a scared stray cat!
↪ the bengal is safely taken back to the shelter
⋯ whilst the cat is settling in, an older gentleman contacts the shelter regarding his injured cocker spaniel, he has decided to surrender his long-time companion and doesn't have the funds needed to take the dog to the vet. if Montgomery Bound accepts the dog, they will need to pay 3 coins to take the spaniel to the vet, though they can always reject the animal!
⋯ oh! this seems to be quite a busy day for the animal sanctuary, not too long after being contacted by the older man a younger couple enters the shelter and explains they had found two cats wandering around their home, they unfortunately do not have the space nor time needed to care for the cats themselves!

pastel hills is a animal shelter for all kinds of pets. from the outside, it looks like a simple holiday cottage, keeping a similar aesthetic as you walk inside. as you run down the hallway, you turn to the left and there will be a door. it was was left slightly open, so guests could see inside. you look too. you're soon faced with a room completely taken over by a bunny/rodent play pen! there were many rabbit hutches along the walls. the same interior is also in two other rooms, but accustomed to cats and dogs instead. but the thing is there were no animals in there.
