She looked at Flintgaze going to wait near the camp entrance as she made a look toward the Creamflower, feeling a little bad that she needed to leave Snakedapple, she felt like she was ruining the other she-cat chance with them tom. Sighing she looked after Vixenfrost walking there, he seemed like he didn't really know what could he do at the moment, she felt like she ruined his moment with Flintgaze as well, this patrol sure come to the worst time "You know Vixenfrost? If you don't have anything to do, I don't mind if you join us?" she meowed to him.

He stayed still and sat there, watching the forest and enjoying the fresh air, still alert for the woods around him. He made a look over at his apprentice, so she could not get too far and that he could somewhat see her all the time, well he needed to see her hunting skills. (wait how old is she? near to become a warrior soon, perhaps or?)

He looked disappointed that her mentor didn't understand what he was saying at all, and he didn't feel like speaking about it anymore and hope that his mentor could either. So he didn't answer anything just stayed silent and watched around the forest, he did know that cats who can't hunt their own prey will need to eat first, but he didn't know when he was allowed to eat, or could he not eat anything at all.

She looked over to the small group near Oakpaw's mentor "yes, you could go then...yes we can train later someday" she meowed to him, with a smile. Sighing she looked over to her mentor Plumpetal there still talking with Lynxwhisper 'how long are they going to talk?' she thought herself, shaking her head turning to Monarchpaw "Hey Monarchpaw?!" she meowed to her.

"Of course! The more paws, the merrier. I've already decided which herbs we need, and perhaps we can split up. Dovemist can take Rosepaw to collect the herbs that are closer to camp, and me and Bullclaw can go further to search for herbs. Oh, and Dovemist, if you want you can water the catmint with some wet moss."
Bullclaw nodded. "Sounds good to me, we can cover more ground if we split up."
And so they went, Into the forest. Bullclaw and Squirrelheart went to the edges of the territory for juniper, nettle and poppy seeds, and Dovemist and Rosepaw worked together to water the catmint and search for goldenrod, burdock root, and borage.

She listened to the other apprentice silently "I am not really doing anything at the moment so I guess I can join you, but could I ask my me tor to join you as well?" she meowed looking over at Plumpetal there. Though she didn't want to bother them as they seemed to enjoy being together there, as her apprentice, she could tell her what is going on.

indentationOakpaw gave a bright smile to Luckypaw and meowed, "That sounds great! I'll see you later then." He then turned and padded over to where Snakedapple and the rest of the patrol was. "Good morning Snakedapple," he meowed brightly, "I'm joining you on patrol right?" Oakpaw was excited to go on patrol and prove himself to his mentor. He was looking forward to seeing the edges of the Clan's territory as well.

Blackslip dipped her head respectfully towards her deputy. "Most definitely, I would be glad to." She padded towards the three felines: Sequoiashade, Vervainclaw, and Lilypool. If she was able to obtain this patrol without coming off as a jerk due to her lack in communication skills--she would call that a win. She did her best to smile in a kind manner. "Ragwortgaze has asked that we head out on a border patrol. Do you mind joining?" She then flicked her ears in the direction of Snakedapple and his apprentice Oakpaw who had mentioned something about a patrol--well, they were going on one, may as well invite them. She tilted her head in their direction. "You two can join us on a patrol if you like."

Snakedapple grinned at Oakpaw kindly as a purr erupted from his chest. "Most definitely, and I'm sure you will make me the proudest mentor in the clan--however, we haven't yet been called to-" He was about to finish that statement with disappointing news when Blackslip offered them a position in her patrol. He grinned at the younger tom and excitedly spoke. "Perfect timing! Let's join them, shall we?" A part of him wondered what they may come upon near the borders.

Finchtooth nodded his head at Mellowvine, "definitely. If that will make you comfortable we can seek another member. Let's see..." He tilted his head and then twitched his ears when he felt a pair of eyes on him. He met the gaze of their deputy and felt another shocking emotion of envy shoot through him. "Seems we may have found our other cat..." He murmured the words before raising his voice to call to Ragwortgaze. "Is there anything we can do for you? We were hoping to go on a hunting trip."

Her yellow eyes move from Sequoiashade to the new arrival, relieved the first thing to leave his jaws was a border patrol. She’d gone out of her way to compliment the she-cat and it would be utterly embarrassing to follow it up with her losing prey at every turn. “Oh, okay then. Will you be leading?” It didn’t sound Ragwortgaze would be there; probably also a good thing. Less high rank cats, the less nervous she’d be.

At his mentor's words, Ryepaw started slightly, having zoned out on their walk. He could feel the nervousness churning in his stomach. They were finally going to being training, and he was one step closer to failing and embarassing himself. At least they were hunting-- perhaps then he could escape the view of Eaglepaw. Sighing, he stopped in his tracks and looked to Palesnow and Mistypelt for further instructions.

"I'd love to come along as well," Sequoishade purred warmly, getting up to her feet. Stretching and twisting, she was glad for the opportunity to get up and moving. After sleeping the whole night and sitting for the whole morning, her body ached and pleaded to get something done. Glancing around the other cats, she waited for the patrol to get up and going. Her paws shuffled, revealing her restlessness, but she tried to keep her antsy behaviour to a minimum.

She wasn't quite sure when that had happened, already knowing exactly why she suddenly got so flustered with the other female. Slowly blinking, she calmed herself down enough to at least answer her without stuttering, although had butterflies in her stomach apparently. “I'd like that.” The smaller warrior simply couldn't help from the soft smile slipping onto her face, although she realized that she'd technically be interrupting their training session. “But maybe ask Luckypaw what she'd think about it first.” .
