Many many moons ago, a group of cats whose names were long forgotten, found a
place of peace and prosperity within the forest’s shadows. The territory was divid
ed into two, those who had a knack for hunting in the trees and sifting through th
ick undergrowth of the forest became what is now Spruceclan, and those who wer
e adapted to the darkness and prefered the rocky surface of the cliffside who bec
ame known as Rockclan. They took new names and found their place within the w
arrior code through visions from their ancestors. The cats became clans, setting t
heir territory markers and defending their borders. For many generations the clan
s have lived peacefully side by side with few border skirmishes and plenty of prey
to go around. However, a silent threat lurks in the shadows. Exiled after the birth
of her half-clan kits, Twistedheart has grown vengeful. Determined to retrieve her
kits from the Rockclan and destroy the two clans in the process she, along with he
r shadows friends, have begun to spin a web of lies that will destroy the clans for g
ood. Can the clans restore the peace or will the shadows of their pasts destroy the
m forever.

Spruceclan - the cats of Spruceclan are lean and slender, they are very strong climb
ers and are especially skilled at catching birds and squirrels though they are just as
good at hunting among thick underbrush. Their camp is situated in the middle of th
e forest, resting in a large dip in the earth surrounded by brambles. It is very rare f
or cats of Spruceclan to have long fur as they are meant to be able to slide through
the trees without issue. Spruceclan is known for attempting to squelch conflict with
words before claws and holds close to the warrior code.

Rockclan - the cats of Rockclan are more widely varied in size and shape. They have
a keen sense of sight in the darkness, far keener than that of Spruceclan and are ad
ept to living in darkness. Their camp is located against a steep cliff-face, their dens
situated in small caves within the cliffside. They are extremely good at rock climbin
g and have thick, hard paw pads to help them cling to stoney surfaces. They are goo
d at fishing prey out of small holes and hunting prey such as woodrats and marmots.
These cats are known to be fierce fighters, and while they follow the warrior code, t
hey are far more prone to using their claws before their words.

Dark Forest Cats - similar to the books, these are cats that belonged to the clans gen
erations ago. These cats chose to follow a dark path including violence and murder. T
hey no nothing but darkness and hate, and are the ones who have encouraged and co
ntinue to encourage Twistedhearts plans of destruction for the clans.

Appearance:
While Starlingfrost isn't a huge tom, he is bigger than the average cat, just over eleven inches in height and nine pounds. His fur is a bit longer than average and thick. Also, he could be described as a tuxedo, being black and white in color. The tom's eyes are pale green, speckled with various shades of green, and yellow. Starlingfrost does have a few scar's, in fact, his left ear his has almost been fully clawed off. He has a few rather nasty scar from a dog on his belly and flank, where fur is still regrowing.
Personality:
lenty of people will dislike Starlingfrost, but the fact he's disconcerting and possessive is just the tip of the iceberg. Never mind the fact he's also sly, predatory and morbid, but fortunately, they're balanced out slightly by being stable as well. But focus on his as this is what he's notorious. There's no sugar coating the effects caused because of this and his irrational nature, which is far from desired, but so be it. Fair is fair though, Starlingfrost does have some rays of light. He's captivating and anticipative for a start, it could be worth to take a chance just once. Unfortunately, his possessive nature often pops up fast enough to ruin the chances of something good.
History:
It would seem like Starlingfrost was cursed from the start, even in this heartless parents he was born from. His parents weren't the nicest cats either, and when he and his siblings were young he mother said that he'd have the best of both of them. Oh, how right they were. Life in Spruceclan was hard for him as a kit, it was even harsher as an apprentice. A few moons before Starlingpaw and his siblings became warriors, a senior warrior caught one of his brothers Antpaw playing with an apprentice from Rockclan. Antpaw was punished by his mentor, who made sure the two wouldn't meet up again. But Starlingpaw felt that it wasn't enough, but was content to wait until the time was right. A few moons later, while his brother was out on a patrol with his mentor and a few others, a fox attacked and killed his brother. In a rage, he and his other siblings tracked down the fox and chased it out of the clan's territory. He and his siblings were made a warrior that night, named Starlingfrost for his cold and calculating deminer. Though he never told anyone that he wasn't angry because the fox killed his brother, but because he wasn't able to do it himself.

Appearance:
Emberhawk has a Lithe and lanky body, meant more for speed and agility than anything else. Despite that, she's got a good amount of muscle on her despite the fact that she's only trained for a full moon. Her fur is a bit longer than average, and mostly a light ginger hue in color. She has a white undercoat, a soft pink nose, and paw pads. The tip of her tail is white and she has stormy copper-colored eyes. The slender feline does have a few scar's, one scar on the back on her left ear, along with a few on her rump and one on her right shoulder.
Personality:
It takes a while to get to know Emberhawk, but the biggest two things to know are that she's relaxed and punctual. Of course, she's also exciting, charismatic, and upright, but in a way, they're lesser traits and tainted by behaviors of being destructive as well. Her relaxed nature though is what she's often adored for. Friends tend to count on this and her contemplative nature especially when they need comforting or support. Nobody's perfect of course and Emberhawk has plenty of character faults too. Her grim ways and predatory nature cause plenty of grievances, both personally and for others. Fortunately, her punctuality shines brighter on most days.
History:
Emberkit was born into a litter of four to Vixensong and Lionscar, both respected warriors of the clan. Her father Lionscar was a senior warrior, and as his name suggested was a golden tom that was rather seriously scarred. Her mother, Vixensong was a pretty dark ginger she-cat that was flirty, diplomatic, and loyal. Emberkit when only five moons old when an adder bite took her father's life, who had shoved her out of the way, saving her life. She drew away from her mother and siblings for a time, believing that they would blame her, as she blamed herself. As an apprentice, she was rather emotional going from silent brooding to shaking with rage to running away in tears. Something that evened out as she got older, mostly because of her mother and siblings forcing themselves back into her life. At Twelve moon old, Emberpaw earned the suffix Hawk for her agility, along with her hunting and fighting skills.

Appearance:
This pretty white she-cat is average-sized for her breed, medium length but thick fur. While her fur is mostly white there is a few spots of color on her forehead and her tail. Her eyes are what make her unique among her clan-mates, and her favorite part about herself. While one eye is amber with a green hue near the iris, the other is about two-thirds light blue and one-third copper split vertically. Her nose is a pale yet bright pink color along with her paw pads, and despite her best, she has gained a scar or two in life. One is on the back of her head, and the other is on her left shoulder, both are small and not very noticeable.
Personality:
Looks can be deceiving when it comes Hemlockeye, but perhaps most important is that she's humorous and considerate. Of course, she's also exciting, reflective, and insightful, but these are in a way balance by being selfish as well. Her sense of humor though is what she's so well-liked for. On many occasions, people will count on this and her rational thinking when they're in need of support. Nobody's perfect of course and Hemlockeye has a range of flaws to deal with too. Her criminal nature and narcissistic nature tend to get in the way, though more on a personal level than for others. Fortunately, her considerate nature is usually there to help mends things when needed.
History:
Hemlockeye was born to Dewrose and Yewfrost, along with her brother; Yarrowkit. They were the only two kits in the litter and were spoiled rotten. She as an apprentice had a few short romances, but no tom ever stayed around for long. The apprentice wasn't interested in settling down, this of course continued into her early warrior-hood. It was only until around her twenty-fifth moon that she decided that she wanted to have a mate and some kits, around the time her younger siblings were apprenticed. So while she's doing her duty as a warrior, the white she-cat is keeping her eye out for an appropriate tom to father her kits. Though she, of course, is keeping her search within Rockclan, there's no need to end up like Twistedheart.
