Thunderpaw felt his pelt grow hot with embarrassment and his fur stand up along his spine. A rabbit? Is that how his clan saw him? He dreaded walking back into camp even more now. He spun around his green eyes narrowed in anger and he briefly thought if Southwind were an apprentice that he would have attacked him. "Some clan-mate you are! Following me out here just to call me a rabbit!"

Mistfall felt her whiskers twitching in amusement at her friend's morning grouchiness. "Yes." she whispered back. "Now lets hurry up and get out of the den before they get mad at us anyways for waking them up!" She lead the way out of the warriors den and into the main cave. Mistfall happily looked around at the other cats in the clearing and then sadly at the empty nursery. "I hope there are new kits soon," she meowed to Sugarspring.

The lithe black tom typically was gone by now, preferring to get up and moving in the early morning. Certainly it was frowned upon for warriors to go into the territory by themselves, as Starclan only knows what could happen - a fox attack, a badger, a vicious rogue - the possibilities were endless. Yet Adderfang preferred to traverse the territory alone. He could do as he pleased, becoming a mere shadow as he raced through the trees and slopes of Fireclan's territory. But today, that was not the case. Today, the tom felt tired. It was not as if he had hunted or trained for a long time, or was ill. He was just... drained. Adderfang was not sure why, but he was. Completely unmotivated - that was the perfect summary of Adderfang's mood.

It was only dawn, but warrior already knew it was going to be an internal battle to arise from his bed. The sooner the better. With that in mind, the lithe black tom took his time to groom his sleek pelt, perfectly arrange his moss bed before emerging into the camp. As he did, he noted Ravenleap standing outside of the den, with Foxcloud mentioning something about a patrol. With a slight yet polite dip of his head, Adderfang slunk by them, not wanting to intrude on their conversation. The midnight tom quickly noted that it was raining, something he viewed with absolute displeasure. Due to being on the receiving end of a snake bite, he could hardly smell, let alone when it was raining. So, he wouldn't be much good for hunting. A shame. Now what was he to do? Ambling to a covering within the camp, the Fireclan warrior sat on his haunches and watched the ran fall with half-closed amber eyes.

Twopaw's heart was literally racing with excitement.

The molly knew that any day now, she would be summoned for her warrior testing. Soon, she would no longer be a 'paw, but a fully-fledged warrior. No longer would she be guided along, told what to do and how to do it - soon she would be able to stand for herself, and be the best possible asset to her clan. Such a drastic change might have daunted other apprentices, but not Twopaw. She longed for the day she had the opportunity to show her skills - especially hunting and tracking! - and, after passing her test, ushered along to a chapter of her life, a new adventure, proving that would be an excellent - no, the best! - warrior of Ashclan. The petite, oddly colored molly stirred in her nest, hearing a strange sound outside. Flickering her ears, she lifted her head and gazed out of the den. And it's raining! The young molly loved rained. The sound was therapeutic, and made tracking quite challenging. And Twomask lived for challenges.

That noted, Twopaw realized it was time to arise and find her mentor, Hollowshade. Her mentor loved her sleep, and Twopaw had learned that if she wanted to have a smooth day, it was best to let the molly wake up in a timely manner. However, did that happen? Well... about half the time. In spite of her mischief streak, Twopaw held a great deal of respect for her mentor, as Hollowshade was witty and quiet bright. That, and like Twopaw herself, Hollowshade did not take no for an answer. No challenge was too great. However, at times the apprentice knew at times she irritated her mentor with her loudness and tendency to get distracted of training was too boring. But through the moons, the two had bonded, and Twopaw felt as though she had a good relationship with her mentor. But enough musing, Twopaw, it's time to get to work! Your gonna be a warrior soon, and you want to leave no doubt in Rowanstar or Hollowshade's mind that your ready! After shaking out her pelt and stretching her limbs, Twopaw bolted out of her den like a streak of greased lightning, a grin forming on her face. Sure enough, Hollowshade had just emerged from her den, eyes bright, tail eye and pelt perfectly groomed.

Before Hollowshade got even a foxleap away from the den, Twopaw landed in front of her, orbs gleaming and a massive smile on her face. "G'morning Hollowshade! How are you doing today?" Barely giving her mentor any time time to reply, the apprentice continued, "What're we doing today? Hopefully something exciting, like hunting! This rain will actually make it a challenge, even for a solid hunter such as myself."

xxxOwlmask seemed to pause at his apprentices actions, before halting his thoughts and letting out a soft grin, now was not the time for analysis. “Actually I think they were just sorting them out now,” He said, sitting himself down and curling his tail around himself, having slightly longer fur was only useful when it was dry, “But fortunately, or unfortunately, it depends, we haven’t been assigned to a patrol yet.” He turned his head to glance at the clearing, pale yellow eyes scanning the place for a moment before looking back at Houndpaw. “What that does mean is that we can spend most of the day getting back up to speed, the rain is, less than ideal, but you don’t seem too bothered.” It really is a shame though, the rain won’t make the training that much harder, but I’ll be a hassle to train in the rain. Houndpaw was a strong apprentice, he was glad for that, and she was progressing well before her injury. Everything would be fine if he spent his time well.

xxxObservation was fun, Ravenleap decided, as she nodded back at Sootnose as the tom left the den, she would have thought she knew the tom well, being one the cats she had the pleasure to be apprentices with, albeit a moon later. Though just sitting here wasn't really enough for her, it was fun for a while, but as always, she got bored quickly. Before she could leave the den however, she found herself staring at a rather happy she-cat. "A patrol? Well, of course, I'm ready!", she mewed, curling the tip of her tail in approval, a patrol with one of the she-cats she trained with... Ravenleap smiled openly, she knew she would enjoy this, provided they didn't encounter anything too dangerous.

xxxLeaping around the woods, Whisper had been awake for most of the latter half of the night, the cats seemed to be slightly less active at that time, so she tended to move more then, being spotted would cause more problems for her. The cats that lived were certainly interesting in her eyes, though wouldn't living in large groups cause more issues? Sure they would have more hunters, but there's also more mouths to feed, and then the possibility of betrayal. It wasn't something she could see herself a part of just yet, though it was an interesting way of life. Climbing up to one of the more bushy trees she watched her surroundings, a small river, a huge moor were both in her field of vision, and she generally saw cats pass through there. Though she must admit, staying up for half a night was tiring, maybe she'll hunt for herself a bit later.

"Okay, I will!" Hazelpaw replied happily, turning back to their herb stores. His mind raced to list the herbs he needed. Sorrel-- Lynxstep was getting that, daisy leaf, chamomile, and burnet, he thought to himself, reciting the three names that he needed. He identified the first two quickly, separating out small bundles for his mentor and himself, but he could not, for the life of him, recall what burnet looked like. Flicking his tail in frustration, he scanned the stores over and over again, hoping that it would jog something in his memory.

The white tom with dark stripes only located on his tail, legs and face, made his way towards Adderfang with a confident stride. His pale eyes settled on the tom as he smirked and raised a brow curiously at his clan-mate. "Well you look quite bummed to be awake." He seemed to survey the dark tom with obvious interest; he seemed strong and capable--what feline wouldn't be impressed? Sootnose was responsible for his interests, and so he felt there was no wrongdoing in admiring the other tom.

Ryeburr was showing some obvious signs of being a curious tom as he eventually pulled himself out of his nest and took notice of Sagedeer, Plumwater and Morningsun. He playfully approached the three she-cats with the intent of building connections with his clan-mates. His eyes settled a moment longer on Plumwater as he grinned at her but spoke to them all. "Heading out? Maybe I could join the three of you." Many clan-mates may consider the tom to be a bit of a cocky jerk.

Fernbee was munching thoughtfully on her prey as she listened intently to Wingslash speaking confidently to a few other clan-mates. I don't think you've ever inspected inflammation in the mouth," Azurestream noted in her normal voice level, which was of course fairly loud. Her words echoed in the tunnel and into the cave. When he spotted him, he turned his head back to Nettlestrike and suggested, "I'll meet you at the camp entrance." He trotted over to the apprentices' tunnel and peeked in, spotting Dewpaw. Slatedusk grinned and flicked his tail to the other tom's nose playfully, trying to stir him. "Good morning, lazy rump! We're going fishing with Nettlestrike and Pigeonpaw today. How does that sound?"

She glanced between the two she-cats and replied, "Perhaps we could go on a hunt?" Sagedeer turned her head at the sound of paw steps and saw another warrior approaching them, a playful expression on his face. "Um, sure! If that's okay with you guys," she answered too quickly and nervously glanced at the two she-cats again.

She nodded, falling quiet for a moment, simply letting the younger two speak. The younger warriors were closer with each other, not that she was surprised much. "I think I’d be more shocked if no one had already went hunting this morning, Stormcaller is always up." Plumwater spoke, a teasing tone to her voice, although there really wasn’t much to the prey pile, but she could go without. She’d mostly meant the offer to the other two after all. Turning her attention to Ryeburr, she certainly didn’t miss how he had looked at her for just a heartbeat longer, nor how Sagedeer answered his question a little too quickly. “Then is everyone ready to go?” The black she-cat asked, deciding to head towards the camp entrance to wait for the rest of them. Although it wouldn’t be such a bad idea to wait for the deputy to assign patrols, but oh well.

She saw Twopaw bolt out of her den, and felt a grin creep on her face. It was always endearing to see enthusiasm in anyone, though Hollowshade didn't often show excitement herself. Twopaw may be a bundle of energy - often, it seemed - but she was polite, and Hollowshade appreciated that.
"Morning, Twopaw! And I'm feeling fine," she meowed a response. Quite frankly she was still gathering energy. "And that's exactly what I was thinking. Hunting in the rain is difficult, and you can't just rely on your nose alone, or your eyesight." At least, that's how it was for Hollowshade. She wasn't a huge fan of rain, and wasn't pleased with having to hunt in it or walk around under it in general. She always had difficulty, keeping a grip on the terrain, especially when mud was beneath her paws; trying to stay balanced and not slid when leaping on prey. She was curious to see how Twopaw would do.
"Just try not to get a big head, okay?" she teased, with a light smile.
"Did you want to have anyone else come along?" She asked. Hollowshade didn't necessarily want company to tag along, but perhaps Twopaw did, so it was nice to ask. She looked around camp, looking for viable cats who may want to leave, though the rain had some in a downcast mood.

Hiddenpaw gave Bluesky a polite nod. "Morning, Bluesky, Azurestream." She stood up, and padded quietly over to them, lingering near Azurestream. She did not, in fact, have anything better to do, and her top priority was being the apprentice she was, which meant she'd stay and take a look. She would need to learn all she could in order to earn her name, and be a good medicine cat.

"that depends, what do you wanna do today?" Shudderheart asked him. He wasn't sure what to do himself today. Shudderheat noticed Batpaw looking at his Father, Saffronfang. If Saffronfang was fine with it, perhaps he could have them go on patrol. Shudderheart flicked his tail, letting Batpaw know to follow him.
"Good Morning, Saffronfang." A curt nod followed his greeting. "i was wondering if perhaps you had any patrols going out soon?" Shudderheart found Saffronfang intimidating sometimes. Afterall, he was Batpaw's Father, and even Shudderheart sometimes felt like he had expectations to me.
