penelope's pups start calling achilles 'daddy'; when asked about their relationship, penelope claims they are only friends, but that her pups are fond of him and she accepts him as a father-figure to her pups.

achilles also gets close to fellow scavenger rastus, who seems to look up to the larger brute & begins to follow him around like "gaston's lefou."

Number of Dogs: 8

Alpha paused, just outside of the Hunter's den and took a deep breath. He entered and called to Graceful with a soft bark,
"Graceful, will you come hunting with me?" He asked. The collie looked up with a smile.
"Of course Alpha." She yipped, and Alpha felt his heart flutter.
They left camp and trotted out at a brisk pace, ears pricked and noses low to the ground in search of prey.
"So, Graceful," Alpha began slowly.
"Yes Alpha?" She murmured, not looking up from where she was sniffing.
"Please, call me Steady." He barked gently. She chuckled a bit, then burst out in great woofs of laughter.
"I'm so sorry!" She gasped in between laughs. "I just thought that it would be something more along the lines of 'strong' or something." She chuckled as she finished laughing. In spite of himself, Alpha chuckled too.
"It is kind of ridiculous, isn't it?" He chuffed. Sighing, they both sat down. Alpha shuffled his paws and turned back to Graceful. "Graceful, there's been something i've been meaning to ask you and," he swallowed, growing increasingly frustrated at how is stomach was tying itself in knots over a dumb question. "Well, i've been thinking, every Alpha needs a Beta, and..." He trailed off. just spit it out! he told himself. "I've really liked you ever since i met you, and i was wondering if you'd be my mate!" He blurted out. Graceful stared at him in shock.
"A-Alpha i don't... Alpha i don't know what to say!"
"Yes?" He said weakly.
"I like you to, but—"
"But?" He asked, a little bit scared of what Graceful's answer would be.
"—but as a friend." She replied finally.
Alpha felt his heart crack into tiny pieces.
"Oh." He said quietly, and turned away.
"Listen, we can still be good friends, just like before!" She said and reached out a paw, placing in on his shoulder.
"But i don't want to be friends!" He snarled, and watched in dismay as she shrunk back. "Please, let's just finish hunting." He said a little more quietly.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the fields on patrol...
"Hey Brutal!" Gallant yipped, gambolling over to her. Despite the fact that he dwarfed her in size, he practically acted like an overgrown pup.
"Yes, Gallant?" She said, a smile spreading across her face.
"I really like you, would you be my mate?" He asked, somewhat sheepishly. She couldn't help but chuckle at his antics. It had always amazed Brutal with how straightforward and chill Gallant was. He said what he thought.
"Yes, i'd love that." She said, still partially shocked at how he just spoke his mind. "Are you ... Are you sure you want me for a mate?" She stammered. Gallant's face was dead-serious as he nodded.
"No other." He woofed firmly. She couldn't help but grin. They'd known each other for less than a moon, but she still knew she loved him. He licked the side of her face affectionately and she chuckled, "should we go tell Alpha?" She asked.
"Yes, let's go!" Gallant barked, Dashing ahead of Brutal.

Once Gallant arrived, checking to make sure brutal was still following, he trotted up to Alpha's den, greeting Sly and Agile as he passed. He wondered briefly why Alpha had chosen the name Brutal for the beautiful Rottweiler, for to him she was sweet and kind, but then he remembered that she was bred for fighting, toughened and battle-ready.
"Alpha, may i speak with you?" Gallant asked.
"Yes, come in." Alpha's voice sounded a little bit off, kind of dull-ish and kind of sad-ish.
Gallant and Brutal walked in and stood before the Husky, who met their gaze almost... Sullenly.
"Alpha, me and Brutal would like to tell you, that we've decided to become mates!" Gallant yipped cheerfully. With luck this would cheer up his Alpha. Good news always made him feel better.
But to his shock, Alpha's expression hardened to one of fury.
"Great." He said drily and pushed past them.
"What's his problem?" Brutal snarled.
"I don't know." Gallant murmured. "But i hope he sorts himself out soon, for the sake of the pack."

Gallant glared at Joyful. He'd had enough. The annoying female had ticked him off one to many times.
"I challenge Joyful!" He growled as loudly as he could. Alpha, who'd been dozing earlier, perked up.
"Well?" The husky prompted Joyful. "Do you Accept Gallant challenge?" He had a smirk on his face. The smaller dog seemed to shrink away, but she had no choice. Accept, or become Omega.
"Yes." She woofed shakily.
"Very well." Alpha barked. "Then let all dogs gather here, Gallant has challenged Joyful in a battle. The winner has everything to gain. While the loser faces the consequences. Fight!"
Instantly, Gallant leapt for her, but she writhed away. He was big, but she was quick and slippery.
With a snarl he attempted to bait her. "What's wrong Joyful? Not so high and mighty now?" To his relief, it worked and she lunged at him, a snarling whirl of teeth. She dug her claws deep into his shoulder, but he twisted and crushed her with his weight.
Joyful yelped as Gallant pinned her down, and in her moment of panic, he twisted grabbing her throat loosely in his jaws. i could kill you! he thought, fury burning in his gut.
"Enough!" Alpha roared. "Joyful is beaten. Gallant takes her place, and i have reached a decision." He barked. Gallant released Joyful, who scrambled away from him. Alpha continued. "This event has led me to realize that the most capable dogs should be on top, not those who've been here longest. From now on, rank is earned, not given."

After that many things changed for The Field Pack. The first great change was that Brutal was expecting pups! His pups! When she'd told him, he'd felt like he was going to burst.
The second was that Alpha had kept good too his word, and the ranks had shifted dramatically, the most capable dogs ranked highest. New joiners started at the bottom and worked their way up. The ranks hadn't changed much though.
The third was that they now had an Omega. In a twisted turn of events, Joyful's act was dropped, and now the rotten female turned out to be spiteful and devious, and she'd been renamed accordingly. Now the female walked with an over-exaggerated limp, from when she'd received a scar to mark her for the schemer she was. Turns out she'd been bitter since her pack disbanded and had intended to overthrow Alpha. She'd actually come rather close. It was rather unsettling to think of how much damage she could have caused.

The air was warm, the birds voicing their happiness in a melody that tickled the dogs' ears anywhere they were in the valley. Sometimes Estellise wondered how there were even birds comfortable with being in the open sky, the treeline a fair distance away, but the ones soaring overhead seemed happy enough. The raptors made sense, hunting for the field mice or other unfortunate creature that may be stuck in the open - it was the songbirds that confused her with their cheerful melodies, singing of spring and spreading their joy to any ears that were available to listen. Of course, maybe she had a lot in common with the birds - she, too, loved being in the open valley, after all. She would never have set up a pack here if she hated it.

But today, she was not in the open valley. Today was a training day, the day to teach her pup student how to hunt. Things had been going exceptionally well with Sorey's training, better than Estellise had ever thought it might. Being so new, and in a new place, she would have thought he would never be able to catch on as well as he was - but Sorey seemed intent on soaking up every bit of knowledge from the pack leader as he possibly could. Smirking, Estellise found herself glad she had accepted Sorey and his family into her pack. Cecil had proven to be a more than responsible second in command, alongside Lorelei, and Valkyrie was a loyal member already as well. The pack was good. The pack was great. The pack was thriving, for the time-being.

Estellise had to let her mind come back to the present as the pair reached the forest training grounds. The three other learners were already here with their mentors, and Estellise nodded at Remiel, Regal, and Mithos, not wanting to distract their attention from the lesson for too long. It seemed the older watchers were learning how to fight today - they were paired off with each other, circling and listening to the advice from their mentors on the side. Harley seemed to be taking a break, panting from exertion. She gave Estellise a questioning look, and the leader nodded for Harley to come closer. "Just don't distract him too much," she warned firmly, not wanting the lesson that had been going so well to be disturbed by Sorey's wandering mind and Harley's distraction. Harley gave a nod back, sitting back on her haunches to watch.

"Right. Sorey, please demonstrate the hunting stance you showed me earlier." The young pup dropped to a nearly perfect stance, a bright sparkle in his eyes. "Now, what do you think you will need to change for hunting in the forest as opposed to hunting in the valley?"

Sorey straightened, tilting his head to the side in confusion. "I didn't know anything would be different, Estellise."

Another smirk played at the corner of the shepherd's mouth, glad she had finally stumped the pup in something. "Harley, perhaps you might know the answer?"

Harley blinked in surprise, her eyes widening. "Um... well, for one the animals are different, so you might need to adjust what you're doing in case they have different abilities. Like the elk that are usually in here more often, they're pretty good at spotting us. You'd need to be quieter than you would in the valley, because the wind is broken up by the trees and won't disguise your pawsteps as well. Oh, and you should probably watch out for the trees - I didn't think about those when I started chasing a hare once and I kind of maybe ran into a tree..." Harley trailed off, her eyes growing impossibly wider as she realized what she said. She tucked her head sheepishly, looking at Estellise, but the leader barked out a quiet laugh.

"No, that was good information to know, Harley. Well put." Sorey cracked his own smile, wagging his tail at Harley in thanks and in amusement. "Now, let's try to adjust what you're doing..."

It was nice to talk a patrol with only one other dog, to have a one on one conversation. Estellise loved the hustle and bustle of pack life, seeing each and every dog, but it was also nice to get away, to have your thoughts heard by only one set of ears. "Sorey has been doing exceptional in his training," she said to Valkyrie, the other dog she had selected to take a patrol with. "He's very sharp; you've raised an excellent pup."

Valkyrie beamed, her tail wagging in happiness. "It's great to hear that! I was worried that he would talk your ears off and make you switch him to a different mentor when you accepted him as your own, so it's good to know he hasn't driven you that crazy yet." Estellise laughed, opening her mouth to respond, but she was cut off from a laugh from another dog.

"Hello?" Estellise called, confused. It didn't sound like any of the dogs in her pack. The laugh sounded again, near the river, and the pair cautiously made their way down. They were met with the sight of a German Shepherd, her nose in the air as she followed a butterfly. She seemed completely lost to her surroundings. "Er, hi there!" Estellise tried again, raising an eyebrow in amusement as the shepherd made a short bark in surprise and whirled around to face them, looking embarrassed.

"Ah, hi!" She said brightly, her tail wagging slightly. "Lovely day, right? Butterflies are out, in case you didn't notice." She smiled as she gestured towards the drifting butterfly, her eyes bright. "My name's Phoenix by the way. I take it you're part of that pack up the hill, right? I've been watching you from afar for a couple of days. It seems like a great place to live..." Phoenix leaned her head forward expectantly, optimism nearly flowing from her paws.

Estellise shared a look with Valkyrie, a bit shocked at the shepherd's eagerness. "Yeah, I have a pack up there. Would you... like to join us? I'm very willing to offer you a place."

Phoenix barked happily, jumping into the air in delight. "That would be wonderful! I'm sure once my pups arrive they'll absolutely love it here too!"

Estellise shared a smile with the soon to be mother, her enthusiasm contagious. "Welcome to the Renegades, Phoenix."

→ while patrolling, hades, sofia, arwywn and roger cross paths with an appenzeller sennenhund that looks to be about apprenti age. they appear to be rather malnourished, and have been unable to do much by themselves for the past few days due to their fatigue. they request to join the sovereign of apollo, but must need one moon of rest in order to recover
→ aristaeus, acllacuna and natia are able to track down two small fish while on their hunting patrol
→ nimbus is able to collect x1 spearmint while gathering herbs

• As the seasons changed, prey continued to be bountiful for the Nevermore Kennel. Some though of it being pure luck while others thanked the Ancestors. The kennel was lucky not to starve, knowing come winter things could change quickly.

↳ The Nevermore Kennel does not starve• Howls of congratulations still rang loudly in Gna's ears although her celebration of becoming an Irontooth had long passed. Still the large female couldn't help but grin to herself. She had finally done it. As Gna made her way to the Irontooth's den to set up her nest, she passes by a few of her fellow kennel mates. "Congratulations again Gna." a familiar voice spoke. Pausing briefly to see who had spoken to her, Gna looked in the direction the words came from and smiled even wider. It was none other then Gefjun, her former mentor. "I couldn't have done it with out you." Gna spoke, dipping her head respectfully to the other female.

↳ Gna is welcomed into her new role• With their new fondness for one another, Baldr couldn't wait any loner to make Kimber is mate. She was not only beautiful, but kind. It came to no surprise when the duo announced their mateship, with Gefjun being the one to be loudest to share her support for the couple. Things where looking up for Baldr, the large Tibetan Mastiff couldn't be happier. All that was left was to hopefully add little pups into the mix.

↳ Baldr and Kimber's attempt at pups unfortunately fail• With Cookie's arrival moons ago, Iggy was grateful to have another set of paws helping out in the Shaman den. It defiantly made herb gathering a lot easier and less lonely. It even helped out in the Shaman's den when more then one dog needed treated. Although she knew she could do it alone again if things happened, Iggy hoped nothing would happen any time soon as she really did enjoy the other female's company.

↳ Iggy and Cookie gather x1 comfrey root, x1 fennel, x1 rosemary, and x1 watermint• The three remaining Tenderpaws left camp with their mentors, each determined to show that they could succeed. The trio pushed one another to the edge, making one another be the bets they could be. In a way it was like a little game, bringing back simpler days of when they where pups.

↳ Hoor and Tyr pass successfully while Beyla does not• With the rest of the kennel going about their duties, the kennel guards got to work on cleaning the camp and checking the walls for any weak spots. Although not the greatest jobs in the world, they still played a big role in camp life. Even getting lucky enough to come across a new member from time to time.

Black Norwegian Elkhound

• With the nursery so full of life the past few moons, the Pup-mother's couldn't help but be grateful for the kennel's only elder. Dante often came to visit, keeping the pups entertained for some time, giving their mothers time to get a quick well needed nap. Although never asked to help out, Dante always volunteered, enjoying the company.

↳ Dante get's some well needed recognition for all his hard work with the pups• With the news of a bear being found in the kennel's territory and it killing Rig, Rocky wanted to make sure the best was truly gone. He did not need such a beast to be living inside their territory, knowing the damage it could possibly do if it lingered about. With a determined growl, Rocky lead is patrol through the territory to make sure the bear had gone.

↳ The patrol passes uneventfully, however the bear seems to have fled the territory for good• With Summer bringing predators, Bragi was hopeful that it would also bring more dogs interested in joining the Nevermore Kennel. With the sun high in the sky, the patrol sluggishly moved along. As the group moved onward with no luck of finding anything or anyone, Bragi decided to have them head back to camp.

↳ Bragi's patrol passes uneventfully, but Dell catches the scent of a wold boar! Bring 6 dogs, no Tenderpaws to take down the beast• As the sun began to set, the heat seemed to die a little. However it was still uncomfortable to be out and moving a bit. With no signs of anything happening Eir decided to cut the patrol short. As the trio slowly padded back to camp, a small whimper from a near by bush caught Ran's attention.

• With the sun completely set, the scorching heat had dyed down to a more tolerable heat. The trio padded along quietly, their eyes scanning their surroundings as they went about their patrol. A rustling noise from a near by bush clump caused the patrol to freeze, turning to see who or what would emerge. A small white frame emerged, flashing the group a friendly smile. "I mean you no harm. Even if I did I'm sure you three could quickly take me out." the dog chuckled.

West Highland White Terrier

• With the sun not high in the sky just yet, the dawn hunting patrol was always one of the best times to catch prey. Prey would be out and about during this time, while during mid-day prey would most likely be hiding and staying out of the heat. It was proven to be true during Essy's morning hunting party.

↳ Essy's hunting party is successful, x2 voles and x1 hare added to the prey pile• With the sun now at it's highest point for the day, the heat rose causing many prey animals to scurry off to their dens to seek shade from the sun's blistering heat and blinding light. Although not the ideal weather to hunt, Frigg's patrol was still able to bring back some prey.

↳ Frigg's hunting party is successful, x1 mouse and x1 rabbit are added to the prey pile• As dusk began to fall, Skadi's patrol seemed optimistic about finding bountiful prey to bring back to camp. As the hunting party split off to see what they could catch, upon regrouping Freyja seemed to be acting a bit strangely. Concerned the group gathered their catch and returned to camp.

↳ Skadi's hunting party is successful, x2 mice and x1 hare are added to the prey pile. Freyja has a heat stroke and will need x1 moon of rest.• With the majority of every one back at camp, Al lead the last hunting party of the day. Hope to collect even more prey drove the hunting party onward. As the hunting party came closer and closer to and end and no hope in gathering anything, a wild boar zoomed passed with two unfamiliar dogs in tow.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐬

• Spring had been bountiful for both campsites of The Howlers. Each camp seemed to be quickly growing in numbers, meaning more mouths to feed. However with the rate they had been going both Vasya and Sakura had no doubt that The Howlers would continue to thrive.

↳ The Howlers do not starve• The white Borzoi traveled onward, their dream from a few nights before still replaying in their head. Dogs with stars in their pelt had visited them one night, instructing that their destiny lied with a group called The Howlers. A bit wary, but curious the Borzoi had set out to find The Howlers.

Borzoi

• Larissa was happy to have found a place to call home, even happier that her medical talents could be put to good use. She had arrived just in time a few moons ago to help Annika give birth. Now things seemed to be a bit slow for her, however she didn't mind the peacefulness of herb collecting.

↳ Larissa gathers x1 alder bark and x1 burnet• Leonid let the hunting party onward, his young Tenderpaw, Pavel, following close beside him. The white male let out a small chuckle before giving the orders to split up and hunt what they could. Mila was the first to arrive back, awaiting the others to regroup as well. Unfortunately she had come up empty pawed, but was happy to see the others managed to gather something.

↳ Leonid's hunting party is successful, x1 human food and x1 weasel are added to the prey pile• Emica lead her patrol onward, running into a pair of loners. The duo quickly offered to help Emica's patrol to catch a boar they had come across only a few moments ago. With such large prey so close, Emica could not refuse the duo's offer of help.

• Vasya lead his patrol along the territory's border, making sure to have everyone reinforce the scent markers along the way. The patrol seemed to drag on until the large male halted his group, pausing at a spot and sniffing the border. It was clear some dog had entered here and was now wondering The Howlers territory.

↳ Vasya's patrol comes across the scent of a loner• After having a successful hunting party come back with not only large prey, but also two dogs Sakura was determined to hopefully find more members. About half way through the patrol, the group came up on a small family hiding out from the sun under a shady tree.

• With Leonid's guidance, Pavel was quickly becoming a fine Spy. The young male was determined to keep growing in his training, already ready to become an Enforcer. Of course Pavel still had some moons before his ceremony. Until then the young male continued to give it his all.

↳ Pavel successfully learns the battle skill• Although he had failed last moon to learn the hunting skill, Souta was even more driven to learn. Souta practiced all day until finally achieving to learn how to hunter properly. Letting out a happy bark, the young male stood proudly beside his mentor Emica.

• Although prey still remains plentiful, Shred was't totally satisfied with the collecting they had done. However catching the deer was nice, as it fed the kennel well. With Winter coming closer and closer Shred hoped his kennel would be able to gather more and more prey as the moons went on.

↳ The Empire of Storm do not starve• Shred was grateful for the ancestors and everything they had done for the kennel, however he wanted more. He needed more. The kennel wouldn't grow if they did not have fresh blood. When his next request was available he quickly asked for yet another strong Samurai to join.

Australian Shepherd

• With the hopes of gathering more prey to add to the prey pile back at camp, Shred decided to lead one of the hunting parties that day. As the party hunted on their own, Bat came across the familiar scent of a deer. Excited by the news, Bat collected his prey and returned to the meet up spot, awaiting Shred and the others to deliver the good news.

↳ Shred's hunting party is successful, x1 mouse and x2 large fish are added to the prey pile. They also catch wind of a deer! Bring 6 dogs no Tenderpaws to take is down• With Shred leading the one hunting party, he appointed Snake to lead the other. The long legged male smiled to himself, hoping to run into some fast prey so he may stretch his legs. As the second party got to hunting, Meatball noticed an unfamiliar dog scent, making sure to report it back to Snake upon regrouping.

↳ Snake's hunting party is successful, x1 mouse and x1 rabbit are added to the prey pile. They also come across the scent of a loner.• Creek headed up the kennel's patrol for the day, leading the group through the territory. Sure he hoped to find something or someone, but also hoped not to run into anything dangerous along the way. As the patrol came to an end, Creek and his group came back empty pawed.

↳ Creek's patrol is uneventful• Cloud had been successfully taken care of the kennels sick and injured, happy to know she was doing fine on her own. Other kennels seemed to have more than one healer, making Cloud wonder if she would ever take on a Squire herself.

↳ Cloud gathers x1 horsetail and x1 lungwort• Lee rested in the Priests' den, itching to get back to her normal duties. However she couldn't complain to much. After all things could have gone much worse than what they did. Letting out a small sigh Lee rested her head on her paws.

Cloud knew exactly what for, gathering a few herbs just in case before hurrying off to the nursery. Once there the white and brown spotted female helped Sage give birth to three healthy puppies.

• Upon returning from patrols, Shred calls for a kennel meeting. It was time to appoint a mentor to young Blizzard. Many dogs qualified to be one, however Shred to seemed to have one specific dog in mind. Creek, his Shogun. "Creek, I trust you will teach this Squire all that you know. Do not let me down." Shred spoke. Upon being appointed the young dog's mentor, Creek gives a small nod and happily shows the pup around the territory.

↳ Blizzard is bursting with energy, maybe put it to good use and have them learn a new skill• The past few moons had been tough for Breeze. For some reason he just wasn't catching on to anything. With an attempt to help the young dog to learn, Shred temporarily takes over Breeze's training. It was intimidating to train with the Emperor, but also pushed Breeze harder than before to do their best.

• With challenges being thrown at the kennel left and right, they continue to remain strong fully fed. Prey continues to run plentiful in the kennel's territory, each dog take advantage of this and gathering as much prey as they can before winter.

↳ The Hounds of Hell do no starve• As Freydoun's hunting party moved about, young Sonto was quick to alert Freydoun of a near by cactus wren nesting area. With Sonto leading the way, the group stumbled upon the nesting grounds discover the bountiful amount of cactus wren that perched about.

↳ Freydoun's hunting party is successful, x4 cactus wren are added to the prey pile• Jallal wasn't looking forward to starting off his hunting party with a fox encounter right off the bat, luckily for him, the patrol was able to kill the fox with ease, no one resulting in any injuries. The hunting party went smoothly shortly after.

↳ Jallal's hunting party is successful, x3 kangaroo rats and x1 spotted skunk are added to the prey pile.• Jericho lead his patrol onward, a fire burning brightly in his eyes as he marched forward. No threat dare step into his territory and get away with it. Not even a mangy old wolf. As the patrol grew nearer to the wolf's scent they comes across a small cave, the wolf's fresh scent indicating it dwelled with in. Letting out a mighty bark, Jericho draws the beast out. Upon further inspection it is clear the wolf is old and sickly, not much fight seems left in them.

↳ Jericho's patrol manages to kill the wolf with no injuries to any patrol member• With the wolf now taken care of and no other threats seeming to arise, Soheile takes the chance to step out and collect what they can. It was nice to get out and enjoy the fresh air, being able to have herself some well needed 'me' time with out having to worry about a sick or injured dog.

↳ Soheile gathers x1 thyme and 2 cobwebs• With all the Rookies training in a large group together, it made each one want to show their mentors that they where better than the rest. Although over working themselves in the end, each rookie seemed to have learned a lot.

↳ All rookies successfully learn a new skill!• With Soheile right next to her, Minthe felt more at ease and not completely alone. It had been moons since the father of her pups had vanished, leaving her to wonder alone until finally coming upon the Hounds of Hell. They had been kind enough to accept her and now, here she was bringing new life into their kennel. One day she knew her pups would go far in the Hounds of Hell.

• With her pups now old enough to be trained as Rookies, Shahrzad was able to happily return to normal duties. She was determined to not only pull her own wait by raising new potential Unit's but to show she had a fire with in to protect her home with the Hounds of Hell.

↳ Shahrzad is happily welcomed as a soldier• Upon moving out of the nursery and becoming Rookies, the sister duo where both nervous, but also thrilled to finally be able to get out of camp eventually. Adventure lied before the pair and with the support from their parents, they believed they would take the Hounds of Hell by storm.

↳ x• Upon only joining a moon ago, it didn't take long for Hasti to find a fit for them. She was young and full of life, and with the guidance of a mentor she could put that energy into training and helping out around camp when needed.

• Although once known as the Greaven Empire, the AD Deiectionm had come back stronger than before. Still striking fear into all those who came across them. With prey bountiful during their travles, the kennel continues to thrive.

↳ The AD Deiectionm do not starve• With Kronos in the lead and the others smelling the air, it was long before someone blurted out deer. Quickly jumping into action, the party sprung form their hiding places, scattering the heard of deer before settling their sights on one with a limp.

↳ Kronos' hunting party is successful, x 1 deer is added to the prey pile• Lysandros leads the group in search for the trespasser they had scented a moon back, hoping they aren't aggressive. As the patrol continues onward, a small puppy bursts out of the bushes, starling the group. The young pup bursts out in laughter, before wagging their tail and asking many questions at once.

Saluki

• Amaltheia hummed quietly to herself as she trotted along a faded path. She had traveled the same path many times before often pleased to where it lead her and the herbs she was able to gather. However she was fully surprised when this time the path not only lead her to herbs, but a dog as well.

Rottweiler

• Lysandros and Egina thank Kronos for welcoming them into the kennel, determined to prove their loyalty to not only him, but to the kennel's god Mikhail. The duo had traveled many times before and thus didn't mind traveling more, however at least this time they had a group to call home.

• It seems the Spirits had graciously been giving many opportunities to catch such large prey. It was truly a gift The Forsaken could not be more grateful for. After all, large prey meant moons of full bellies and happy tails.

↳ The Forsaken do not starve• With the scent of moose heavy in the air, Kratos whispered instructions to each dog as not to alert the large animal of their presence. Upon finalizing their plan the group split, slowly and cautiously circling the large moose. The large animal didn't notice the dogs until it was too late. Rongo, Tanit, Morning Star, and Tyr each grabbing hold of a leg while Kratos hung onto the animal's back side. Merely pinning the large animal in place long enough for Bellona to land the final blow.

↳ Kratos' hunting party is successful, x1 moose added to the prey pile• Mars' quietly leads their patrol through the territory, hoping to find a decent area to hunt. With the heat, it kept most animals hidden, thus making it harder for the kennel to catch anything. However Mars was determined and had faith that their other members would be able to catch something.

↳ Mars' hunting part is successful, x2 small birds are added to the prey pile• Hadur's patrol trudges along the borders, their paws dragging as the sun's rays radiate heat down upon them. The patrol proceeds onward like this for some time until finally Hadur knows no dog can take much more. Although tired and hot, Anann musters up all her strength she has left and manages to catch some prey.

↳ Hadur's patrol is pretty uneventful, although thanks to Anann, x1 mouse is added to the prey pile• Minerva did well cleaning out the wound, helping prevent infection from setting in. Although the bleeding had stopped for the most part, it would bleed from time to time. With luck on Minerva's side it wouldn't be to much longer until Odin received the cobweb.

↳ Once Odin receives x1 cobweb they should be good to return to their normal duties• With one thing on her mind, Minerva set out in search for cobwebs and anything else the Spirits would graciously give her. However Minerva knew that life wasn't always so lucky. Sending a silent prayer to the Spirits, Minerva had faith she would find what she needed.

↳ Minerva gathers x2 cobwebs and x1 catmint• Unsure how Mars would fully handle their request at becoming a mate of three, Anann, Maru, and Odin where relieved upon receiving the Alpha's blessing. They couldn't help but smile and wag their tails, embracing one another for a brief moment before separating due to the heat.

• Prey had been running plentiful in the kennel's territory, being lucky enough to take down a moose last moon. It would surely feed the kennel for moons to come, especially with how quickly the Sanguinem Nator had been growing.

↳ The Sanguinem Nator do not starve• Solqi's hunting party runs into a dog interested in joining the kennel at the beginning of the patrol. Figuring they could use the extra help, Solqi continues on with the new dog in tow. After all the more paws they had the better chance they had at bringing in a decent amount of prey.

Dalmatian

• With one of the patrols from last moon scenting a wild boar, it was only logical to gather up six strong dogs to take it down. After all such a large prey was able to feed the kennel a decent amount. It would be stupid to ignore such a beast. With Dahiwi leading the hunting party, many dogs knew taking down the boar would be easy.

↳ Dahiwi's hunting party is successful, x1 wild boar is added to the prey pile• Remekki lead the first patrol of the day through the vast territory. No dog really wished for anything to happen, although no dog would object if they ran into a potential new kennel member. However as Remekki made the call to head back to camp, the patrol ended up coming back empty pawed.

↳ Remekki's patrol passes uneventfully• Rhovagon's patrol trots along the border, making sure all scent markers are still strong and nothing has cross over. As they move farther along a fluffy cloud like dot appears upon the horizon. As Rhovagon and his group come closed they noticed it's a loner sitting just outside their marker, as if waiting for them to arrive. As the patrol comes closer the white dog jumps to their paws and smiles, quickly informing Rhovagon how interested they are in joining.

Bichon Frise

• With the birth of his pups, Cyamus was in a good mood almost all the time. Although he wished he could stay back and spend more time with his mate and pups, the black male knew he had duties to uphold as the kennel's Shaman. While out away from his family he finally had something to motivate him even more so he could provide a safe environment for them.

↳ Cyamus gathers x2 thyme• With the knowledge and guidance from Fadia, Gunner's training seem to be going smoothly. He was learning quickly, and proven eager to learn time and time again. Soon in a few moons Fadia believed, no she knew he would successfully pass his assessment if he continued giving his all.
