The poll for Chapter 1 is up! and it's nice 'n pleasant to get us started

To make it easier to pick your poison, I have added additional information to show how each environmental catastrophe differs. If you have looked at the aforementioned poll, you may have noticed the terms "duration", "effects","potential consequences" (shortened to po). To make things as clear as possible, I provided a brief description of each below.

"Duration" is how long the actual incident is going to be carried out. Keep in mind, this is when the actual catastrophe/event is happening, and not counting the consequences afterwards (ex: a fire only lasts 2 pages, but the effects could last 10).

Short is 2-3 pages.
Medium is 4-6 pages.
Long is 6+ pages.

Next is "effect". This is what area or species may be affected by the incident. For example, fire and earthquake both affect the territory, but an earthquake has a bigger radius than a fire.

Last but definitely not least is "potential consequences". These are just a few consequences that may result given this incident takes place, just to give you an idea of how it differs from the others. The severity of the incident will be determined via a random number generator/wheel.

1-3 is mild, 4-6 is moderate, 6-8 is quite bad, and anything above 8 is prophetically bad. A real, absolute cat-tastrophe im sorry.

i am so so sorry i never got a post up yesterday! my dog had puppies not that long ago (running around and being mischievous all of them now ha), and i was counting them yesterday morning to check we still had all 6 but we only had 5. we searched all day for the other puppy! all day! only to find, she had somehow managed to escape into the garden, and somehow into the neighbours. they are both key workers so they were not at home. we saw her sitting, at about 9 pm, in their house with their puppy looking rather pleased with her escaping act. luckily we got her back at about 11 pm! silly dog! i'm working on a post now though!
