As Bramblefrost touched them, Tumblebranch opened one eye with a huff. "Why should I get up? It's warm here." They mewed. "What would you even do if I didn't get up?" When Wingslash came over, they opened their other eye and gave the other warrior a glance. "Sleep sounds better than prey right now." They said, but despite that, they sat up and yawned. "Is there a patrol or something?" They didn't bother to groom their mussed fur back into place. "Or did you just want to talk to me so badly that you had to wake me up?" They said that lightly, mostly joking. They knew it was time that they got up, even if they would rather sleep. And if there wasn't anything to do, maybe they could find a good warm place for a nap.

Echodawn padded back into camp, looking for his apprentice. When he saw Silverpaw over by the apprentice's den with Minnowpaw, he padded over. They looked a bit concerned about something, but Echodawn must have missed what had happened. "Good morning, Silverpaw, Minnowpaw." He greeted with a purr.

Oakpoppy purred back to her sister. "That would be fun!" She agreed. "It is definitely nice to be able to see you more too, now that you aren't always busy with training and apprentice duties." Because of Flowersong's apprenticeship and the 6 moons that Oakpoppy had spent in the nursery with her kits, they had only actually been denmates for about a moon. It was certainly nice, though. Oakpoppy happily sat down next to Flowersong after her sister had picked out a squirrel for them to share. "I'm a little glad to be out of the nursery too," the warrior chuckled. "Chasing after two full grown kits takes a lot of energy, no matter how fun it is. And I do enjoy my warrior duties too. And its wonderful to see Minnowpaw and Sorrelpaw become apprentices and learn so much." She purred.

"I think she'll handle it as long as she doesn't fall in the water." Nettlestrike mewed, a glint of humor in her eyes. At Slatedusk's suggestion, she nodded. "That sounds like a good idea. I think it's probably helpful to have a more experienced apprentice around, it might help motivate Pigeonpaw even more." She said. "And it certainly wouldn't hurt to catch something fresh to eat."

As soon as Spiderwhisker poked her head into the den, Mallowpaw was on his feet. "Okay!" He said, padding out of the den to follow his mentor. He was a little bit hungry, but he knew that the clan had to be fed first. That was what the warrior code said, and he wasn't going to argue that. Besides, he liked training. The faster he trained, the sooner he could be a warrior. And if he was really impressive, then he might get picked to be deputy one day, which was the thing he wanted most. "What are we going to do today?"

Letting out a small, hardly audible sigh, he turned to keep looking through the rest of the storage. "Why
don't you find the rest of the travelling herbs for me, Hazelpaw? It's good to get them out of the way e
arly." Figuring out that the travelling herbs weren't where he was looking, he turned back to his appre
ntice. "I'll go get that sorrel, you set out the rest of the herbs. Once you're done you should get a
bite to eat, alright? I'll be back soon." He smiled at Hazelpaw, then exited the den, making a straight
shot for the entrance and padding out with ease.

Lichenpaw's head shot up at his mentor's voice. He coughed gently, looking at his mentor.
"Thank you." He said softly. Twitching his ear, he meowed, "It sounds like- like it's raining.
Is it raining?" He appeared worried, looking at his mentor without getting up. "Will I have to
train in the rain? If I have to it's okay.. I'm fine with it.." Lichenpaw began to groom his coat,
which was slightly ruffled and spotted with moss. He picked the pieces of moss out and set them
beside his nest.

Hollowshade awoke slowly, taking a while to groom herself. She sat in her nest, not caring to move at the moment. She had to collect herself in order to face her apprentice. Albeit, Twopaw didn't drain her much at all; Hollowshade could easily deal with her fiery attitude, it was more a fact of needing to be awake for her to even want to do anything. She valued sleep, and quite honestly (though she'd never admit it) was a bit lazy sometimes. Hollowshade ambled out the den, tail high, casting glances about the camp, trying to pick up on what was going on.

Hiddenpaw began to stir awake, upon hearing voices of cats around her. She blinked slowly, letting her vision clear of the medicine cat den. She looked around and saw her mentor, Azurestream, and Bluesky at the entrance of the den. Hiddenpaw sat up, snapping to attention, though it was clear she wasn't 100% awake yet. She appeared drowsy, parts of her coat on the side she'd slept on plastered to her side. She felt bad for sleeping in - it felt late to her. She remained seated, not sure if her mentor wanted her to help or not. She did try to listen in though, wanting to hear what the senior warrior was talking about.

Shudderheart awoke with a jolt, heart racing. He'd been nightmares more often, and he wasn't pleased with that fact. He sat upright, took a few seconds to groom himself, and then pushed his fear down. He let his eyes adjust to the darkness, which seemed to come so suddenly. Not much light shone into the tunnels. With a sigh, he heaved himself up and padded out of the den, into the main section of the cave. He shook his paw, letting a stray piece of moss that was stuck to his claw fall to the ground. His eyes scanned the cave for his apprentice, Batpaw. Once spotted, he padded over to his apprentice, who had seemed to be waiting. Shudderheart felt a tinge of guilt.
"Hey, Batpaw," He greeted him. "Thanks for waiting for me, I appreciate it. I didn't mean to sleep in..." he said. He was aware of his tired stature, but managed a grin. His apprentice was his top priority, even if he was tired.

xxxOwlmask seemed to pause at his apprentices actions, before halting his thoughts and letting out a soft grin, now was not the time for analysis. “Actually I think they were just sorting them out now,” He said, sitting himself down and curling his tail around himself, having slightly longer fur was only useful when it was dry, “But fortunately, or unfortunately, it depends, we haven’t been assigned to a patrol yet.” He turned his head to glance at the clearing, pale yellow eyes scanning the place for a moment before looking back at Houndpaw. “What that does mean is that we can spend most of the day getting back up to speed, the rain is, less than ideal, but you don’t seem too bothered.” It really is a shame though, the rain won’t make the training that much harder, but I’ll be a hassle to train in the rain. Houndpaw was a strong apprentice, he was glad for that, and she was progressing well before her injury. Everything would be fine if he spent his time well.

xxxRavenleap had awoken quickly, the young fireclan warrior had already wanted to get herself moving, sitting still wasn't her forte, even if she was just sleeping. The drizzle wasn't really an issue for her, she liked getting her jobs done quickly either way, so in a best case senario she wouldn't find herself too wet. The black she-cat took a quick stretch within the den, she knew that many of the older warriors would have their apprentices to train, where she unfortunately couldn't join them in their endeavors. That left herself, and many of the other younger warriors with a bit more to do. Taking a note that Willowcreek had already left the den, she figured she could stay and wait for some others to wake up. So she took a position right by the enterance of the warriors den, and watched, she might have been able to spook some of the other warriors when they woke..

xxxYawning, the ginger and white apprentice sat down in an attempt to loosen himself up, "Yeah... apprentices and warriors are always busy, they always say get used to it, but it'll get to you.", he spoke quietly, still sounding a tad drowsy, he appreciated the distraction but sometimes the amount of work he and the other apprentices had to do piled up to the point of stress. "Oh! Don't worry about me, just a bit drowsy this morning" He said quickly, voice almost sounding strained with how fast the words came out of his mouth, maybe he was a bit too tired this morning, or was it stress, he coudn't tell. Straining a small smile, he looked back out of the den, noticing that one of the warriors went to go get their apprentice for something. That was quick, but by this point he should be used to early morning tasks, he'll get a nap later then.

xxxLeaping around the woods, Whisper had been awake for most of the latter half of the night, the cats seemed to be slightly less active at that time, so she tended to move more then, being spotted would cause more problems for her. The cats that lived were certainly interesting in her eyes, though wouldn't living in large groups cause more issues? Sure they would have more hunters, but there's also more mouths to feed, and then the possibility of betrayal. It wasn't something she could see herself a part of just yet, though it was an interesting way of life. Climbing up to one of the more bushy trees she watched her surroundings, a small river, a huge moor were both in her field of vision, and she generally saw cats pass through there. Though she must admit, staying up for half a night was tiring, maybe she'll hunt for herself a bit later.

Rowanstar needless to say was not surprised when he saw his deputy coming back into camp with fresh kill and purred as the tom had approached him. "Looks like you had a nice spread already this morning. Glad to see that the rain didn't scare the prey off at all," he noted to him as he listened to him contently and gave a single nod. "Yes I've been needing to find out from Nightmask if he believes if Ripplepaw is ready, I think he is but the assessment will prove it so we shall see if we will be having a warrior ceremony tonight," he told Stormcaller. "I'll go along with Nightmask for his assessment after I speak to Lynxstep about something... I think it's a message." He sometimes kept it brief but this morning he was puzzled and a bit worried on what was going to possibly happen and when. "Also need to see how Twopaw's progress is going and the other three older ones. I'm worried about Houndpaw falling behind from her time off from having her injury."
As he finished talking to his deputy he had saw Lynxstep leaving the medicine den. "Lynxstep, can I have a word with you later or now if you aren't busy?" He asked the medicine cat, flicking his tail over to him.

Flowersong purred as she listened to Oakpoppy, placing the prey down inbetween them and laughed softly as she remembered recalling how she had to help her sister a few times get the kits back inside of the nursery. "I know, I could tell how much energy it took out of you which of course I'm looking forward to one day but I really am enjoying just some warrior duties now," she smiled and had taken a bite out of the squirrel. While she chewed she heard Rowanstar calling Lynxstep over to him, she tilts her head once. "I hope he's alright... Though I'm sure it's just about the half moon," she speculated to her sister while she glanced over at the pair of toms.

Minnowpaw frowned and nodded her head once as she listened to Silverpaw "I don't know about that Silverpaw but he totally did panic over something hopefully Thunderpaw will be fine," she sighed once. "Good morning Echodawn," she purred as she stretched before taking a look outside as she noticed her mentor speaking to the leader. She was sure that Stormcaller, her mentor, would be with the leader for awhile as it wasn't something unusual at all but then she noticed her mother and her mother's sister out in the clearing and purred. "Don't take too long or you'll end up staying in the den forever," she teased to the other apprentices before going to join Flowersong and Oakpoppy.

Pebbleclaw scoffed once and shook his head as he listened to Sweethoney, getting himself up onto his paws. "I'm sure whatever you do today will be fun, I'll see you both later," he told his leader and his warrior friend, giving a slight dip in his head. The tom went over to the apprentice den where he found Tigerblaze and also found out that his apprentice was awake. "Hey Tigerblaze would you like to have them train together? I know you're one of the better climbers in the clan and Russetpaw still is having a little trouble, would you mind?" He glanced at Russetpaw for a moment, it wasn't probably the most lying lie to be told - his apprentice did need some help still but he was getting better everytime they practiced.

Dewpaw was always the last one out of the apprentice den, he rarely ever wanted to go out as he didn't enjoy spending time with other cats. He rather be alone, ideally he would of much preferred to be a medicine cat though he didn't have the skills for it since for a few days unofficially he had tried before he was made into an apprentice. He hadn't always wanted to be alone as much as now, it started with his families death as it had been quite rough for him especially with his littermate''s death who he was the closest to. After they had joined starclan for the first few days he had hid himself from everyone though he had then started his apprenticeship soon after their loss. He barely spoke ever since unless he had to and he was sure that his mentor was quite often frustrated with him over it as he sometimes didn't reply when given the directions. The only way he showed he was listening was through eye contact and following the directions to a tee. And all he hoped was that this morning wasn't going to be any different he hoped despite being awake earlier than normal.

Sootnose stretched out of his nest with a pleased expression on his face. He had slept well and seemed ready to take on the day. As he padded out of the warriors den, he passed Ravenleap and gave her a welcoming grin. He then let his eyes wander around the camp and take in each of the figures that stood out. He stepped out into a ray of sunshine and flexed his muscles pleasantly. He recognized exhaustion lingering on many cats in the camp, and almost felt bad about his energy.

Ryeburr squeezed his eyes shut as he remained coiled in his nest. He had a nightmare and it would take him a moment to shake it off and return to reality. He could still see some of the images and hear some of the terrified voices. It was simply a nightmare, but it had felt so real. His clan disappearing and never returning right before his eyes.

He nodded in agreement, and appeared calm even though he was a little proud of his catches, listening intently as Rowanstar continued. "Of course, Rowanstar." He could set up a patrol with himself and their mentors to check their progress and report back, he thought, having easily noticed that he mentioned a message but Stormcaller wasn't about to question it. Simply letting the leader leave to go see the medicine cat, he turned his attention to the clearing of cats, already beginning to think of possible patrols for the morning.

She couldn't exactly hide the look of concern she sent to her apprentice, nor did she try to. "Yes, it's raining, Lichenpaw. And for training, until the rain stops, we'll just be seeing if we're on any patrols and then doing a bit of hunting." The pale ginger tabby's voice was quiet for the sleeping cats in the den, but it was soft as well, holding a more motherly tone than she'd meant to. "Are you alright?" She had wanted to ask him if he was ready, but it had apparently came out wrong. As she was finished speaking, she turned to see the younger warrior in the entrance, before giving her a swift nod. "Of course, Foxcloud, we'll be right out."

She only nodded to the younger warrior, a soft smile already on her face, hoping to cheer up Sagedeer. She couldn't help but let out a chuckle at the joke, sincerely hoping that that she would be alright. "Maybe we can find something good in the prey pile." The black she-cat offered, although Plumwater had more of a reputation as being a joker than anything else, not that she cared about that.

"Thank you." Lightstar nodded appreciatively to Pebbleclaw before turning to Sweethoney with a flick of his ear. "Yes, actually, I do. There was a dog running loose along the southern border with twolegplace yesterday. I'd like you to patrol along there today and make sure it hasn't crossed over. Take whoever you like with you, just let your brother know, since he's the one assigning patrols."

"Lucky you," Daisyface teased, rolling over onto her side as much as she could, although her back legs refused to roll over with the rest of her, so that her body looked a bit twisted. "Oh, I don't know," she went on in response to her friend's question. "The usual, I suppose. Change any dirty bedding, maybe see if Azurestream needs some help collecting or sorting herbs...That kind of thing. And you?"

Thankfully, Batpaw wasn't waiting too long, for his mentor approached him only a few moments later. Immediately he rose to his paws. "Oh, no, that's okay!" he assured Shudderheart quickly. "I wasn't waiting long, I actually only just got up myself...Did you want to begin training right away? Or should we see about joining a patrol first?" His gaze traveled once again to Saffronfang, who was busy assigning patrols.

Tigerblaze jumped slightly at the sound of a voice behind him and whirled around to see Pebbleclaw. He relaxed a little, although he still seemed wary, and looked past Pebbleclaw, as if searching for someone behind him, before meeting the older tom's gaze again. "I suppose so," he meowed at last, tail tip twitching slightly. He paused a moment, then asked in a low voice, eyes narrowed with suspicion, "Did Lightstar tell you to?"

Softkit didn't seem to care about being a "great warrior," only unburying her face when her mother mentioned prey. "Oh, yes, please!" she mewed, jumping to her paws and sitting as straight as possible. "I'm up!"

Southwind's whiskers twitched as he began to follow the apprentice. "Why wouldn't I? I'm your clanmate," he pointed out, then added jokingly, "I would hope my clanmates would care if they heard me yowling at the top of my lungs and running out of camp like a rabbit being chased."

"I appreciate the thought," Leafpelt replied, a hint of sarcasm in her tone. "Well, hopefully the prey won't be scared off by the rain. I would have asked you to go hunting or patrolling with me, but I doubt you're up for it, since you just got back."

"Not a bad idea," Bramblefrost replied to Wingslash's suggestion before turning back to Tumblebranch. "No, Rowanstar has decided not to send out any patrols today. Like, none, at all. I just wanted to wake you up so you could eat and then go back to sleep." He rolled his eyes good-naturedly. "Well, groom your fur then, and let's go out and join one. Are you coming too, Wingslash?"

Flowersong purred as she listened to Oakpoppy, placing the prey down inbetween them and laughed softly as she remembered recalling how she had to help her sister a few times get the kits back inside of the nursery. "I know, I could tell how much energy it took out of you which of course I'm looking forward to one day but I really am enjoying just some warrior duties now," she smiled and had taken a bite out of the squirrel. While she chewed she heard Rowanstar calling Lynxstep over to him, she tilts her head once. "I hope he's alright... Though I'm sure it's just about the half moon," she speculated to her sister while she glanced over at the pair of toms.

Minnowpaw frowned and nodded her head once as she listened to Silverpaw "I don't know about that Silverpaw but he totally did panic over something hopefully Thunderpaw will be fine," she sighed once. "Good morning Echodawn," she purred as she stretched before taking a look outside as she noticed her mentor speaking to the leader. She was sure that Stormcaller, her mentor, would be with the leader for awhile as it wasn't something unusual at all but then she noticed her mother and her mother's sister out in the clearing and purred. "Don't take too long or you'll end up staying in the den forever," she teased to the other apprentices before going to join Flowersong and Oakpoppy.

Pebbleclaw tilted his head some as he could tell that he had startled Tigerblaze, which something he knew wasn't normal at all. Typically it was the other way around, everyone startling him as he would fall into some of his thoughts or even sometimes when he was paying attention, his hearing wasn't as good as it use to be though it was still very much there. "Thank you I'd appreciate it, I know the rain will make it a little hard to do it for myself today but he needs to learn how to do it and I'm sure it would be good for Dovepaw to learn too," he told the warrior before he stared at the tom blankly and tilted his head. "No I thought of it myself when I saw you come out of the warrior den." It was a lie but he had always been good at it, he didn't blink or his voice didn't change plus he didn't look away.

Foxcloud nodded once as the fellow warrior needed to spend some time with their apprentice. "Of course, I'll wait with Ravenleap next to the entrance for you two," she told Sandpebble before she had left the pair and went over to Ravenleap who was still at the warriors entrance. "Ready for a patrol?" She purred at the fellow she-cat. It was nice to be in a patrol where she got to spend time with maybe her closest denmate as they were close in age and always were a moon apart from their ceremonies.

Dewpaw groaned softly as he could hear all the cats coming in and out of the den, his eyes slowly opening. He noticed that Foxcloud had just left after talking to Sandpebble who was with their apprentice Lichenpaw, he just wanted to relax a little more before he had to leave. He was sure that his mentor would make him be practicing his moves as that's all they were doing with warrior assessment coming closer with each falling sun.
