I know it sound crazy but if we get this one on our side, then maybe we'll have a better chance at getting the other foxes to leave us alone. Besides, its looks like a pre-teen, so maybe having them be good will be easy."

Sorren nodded her head. " I don't think that's crazy, but that fox is eating a chicken. You know how mad the farmer is going to be if it killed a chicken then is living with the rest of us? Heck if he sees it around his property, he'll get a loud stick and put it down!" She watched as the fox snarfed down the chicken. " Just a suggestion, but if you feel like its better to befriend it, I guess we could try" She placed one brown paw in front of her to steady herself.

Canyon sighed. " Thank you." His tail nub wagged, and he looked at her gratefully. He stood up and nodded thanks to her. He saw his brother over on the other side of the room and shrugged. He was always getting into stuff and the last thing that Canyon needed right now was another distraction. Walking over to the bathroom, he walked over to a large shaggy rug and padded down.

Sandpiper dipped her head quickly and stared after the beautiful male as he trotted off, his eyes clouded with thought and his short fur glistening in the dim Mansion’s light. The she-dog let out a tiny, shaky sigh and turned around, ready to lie down near some fire and rest. It was incredible how hard it was to confess.. anything, really.

The mostly white male flicked his white tipped brown tail a couple times. He twitched his ears a good two times more. He dipped his head a moment, as Eros spoke up again. He almost chuckled at those words, but did not. “He has spotting on his coat, and...” he trailed off then. Quieter, he said “And floppy ears...” two clues.

The sweet and kind lady dog felt the warmth continue and shook her head. She heaved a breath of relief at having finally told him. She dipped her head a moment when he spoke...then raised it back up. “That’s fine,” she said. She gasped as she remembered what she’d been meaning to do. “Would you like to check on the twins with me?” she asked.

The fox young yipped and ran after a scent. She’d smelled Dakota, but also dogs...She continued to chase the scent. She soon arrived, just in time to hear him say all the foxes were mean...She dropped down and flattened her ears. She growled quietly a bit, then shook her head.

Dakota talked to Sorren for a bit until she needed to go. He was happy, until a familiar scent filled his nose. It was another fox. His scent wasn't strong enough to tell who it was but, he was had to go.
"Hey Thomas?" He said. "i have to go... I smell a fox nearby so im gonna go lie that the farmers back. Can i meet you near the river at sundown tomorrow?" Thomas nodded and they said there goodbyes. As soon as Thomas turned the corner, Dakota felt his heart sink. i don't wanna get hurt again...
