Matthew was having a nice time with his daughter. It was good to relax a bit. He had missed time with her. He did what she wanted to do. He waved to his wife when she said hi and smiled at her. He loved her.

she was glad they were having fun. after kate finished working, she sent the stuff to her advisors. then went and looked for new furniture for everyone’s bedroom and her office. she placed an order and went to tell matthew. “hey guys! how is it going? matthew, i bought some new furniture for all of our bedrooms, i thought it would be a fun project to do together.” she told him happily and looked at charlie who was smiling in the sling.

Matthew stood when his wife came in. He walked over to her and smiled. “Awesome. Thank you love.” He said to her. He kissed her. He was glad that they were getting new stuff. It would help the spaces feel better and refreshed. He walked over to his daughter and picked her up. “So I was thinking. I am kind of tired of white walls. I was thinking we could paint your room Sofia. What color would you like?” He asked her.

sofia smiled. “i like purple. and pink. can we paint it both?” she asked and went to go say hi to charlie. kate helped her hold him and was happy. “i got my work done so i am free to hang out with you guys.”

"Yeah. Would you like two walls pink and two purple, one wall one color and the other three the other color, or do you want all the walls the same color with a design in the other color?" He asked her. He wanted her to be happy. He watched his daughter and smiled. He then looked at his wife. "Awesome. I was thinking we could go pick out paint for Sofia's room." He said to his wife.

”i want stripes.” she told him and ran to find a book. she brought it back and showed him a picture from a random picture book. “like that.” she showed him the stripes in the room. kate nodded. “painting her room sounds good. i might stay here but you guys can go.” she told him and bounced charlie a bit. she didn’t want to go out, especially with a sick baby.

"Okay. We will do stripes then." He said with a smile. He picked her up. "Alright. See you later darling." He said to his wife and took his daughter out and got her in the car and got in and drove. He got out at the store. "Alright. Now we have to pick the colors that you want." He said and headed inside.

kate got charile to take a nap and took one herself. sofia looked at all the paint colors. "I like pink and purple. why are people standing outside staring at us?" she asked and stared back at the crowd of people. she really didn't understand the whole royal thing.

“I know you do but we have to pick out the shade you want.” He said to her. He looked back at the people staring and sighed. “It’s because I am the king and you are the princess. They will do anything to see their king doing something normal.” He said. He looked at all the pinks and purples. He picked her up so she could see better. “Alright. Which one?” He asked her.

sofia looked at the people again. "why do you not say hi to them? that's mean." she told him and picked out a pastel pink and a pastel purple. she then went to the windows at the front of the store and waved to the people. they went crazy which scared sofia. she ran back to her dad and hid behind him.
