Has anything been said about fixing the lag in Animal Jam? I used to play the desktop app on an old laptop and had a horrible time with it, but even after getting a new laptop for school, the game lags horrendously, making it nearly unplayable. I really enjoy the adventures but they are so rough to play due to lag.

Also, my apologies, but can you still get good stuff in Forgotten Desert, such as headdresses and such? I remember getting a long purple but the only good prizes I get now are den betas. Maybe my luck is just dry?

you still can indeed get good things, like spikes and betas, from tfd. headdresses are no longer obtainable though, and any and all ways of getting them were removed. the reason if i recall, was that they were offensive to native americans. you could get hds through tfd for a short while, but now, it's no longer possible. the best prize, i believe, is a solid. i'm not sure if you can get any party hats or founders from it though.

I read about that! Still confused on why they'd leave them in the game, though? Why not just delete them all instead of making them a hassle? Hm.

My luck must really suck right now then, hah. Remember all the rumours on how the path you take determines your prizes and such? Those were the days. :')

my guess is the uproar it would cause 😂 if you take something away that people work hard for (trading-wise) then people will definitely not be happy. i think removing all ways to get it was a good move instead of just deleting it completely.

I just came back to AJ a couple of weeks ago, though. So I'm like a senior woman trying to function in the new generation. (': I try to keep up to date on rarities and use AJ Worth but apparently the site isn't accurate. :\ Kinda sucks trying to trade and I have no idea what's going on.

if you ever need help on item rarities, i'm open to pms! there's also the aj worth discord and they are very helpful when it comes to that.

The format of the new homepage is so annoying. The art is really pretty, but I wish AJHQ would at least emphasize both Play Wild (yep still calling it that) and normal AJ equally-- like have the homepage have two options next to each other, "Animal Jam" and "Animal Jam Classic" because the way it is now is way too confusing

Also, is anyone else irritated about the name change? This is the first time I've ever seen a pre-existing game change it's name, and because two have basically swapped names, the only effect is that it's annoying and confusing. The whole change to downloadable apps could have happened just fine without the name change.

Besides, all of this happened way too fast with too little notice, so the least AJHQ could do is put a notice on the homepage about the name change instead of just expecting us to know. :T

I think the first time I saw the new home page, I rolled my eyes so far into the back of my head. It's far more confusing now? Also, I don't know if it's because they didn't update their coding yet, but I went to go buy more diamonds and it took me to an error page. Grrrr.

Anyone know a good app I can use to play flash games on mobile apple devices so I can access pc aj before it switches to the downloadable version? I haven’t played pc aj in a long time, but want to trade off my rim hd before I can no longer access the website (no access to a pc right now)

I would use puffin like I used to, but the free version has been discontinued from the appstore and I don’t fancy paying £5 just to shift this hd so I need to find something else, I don’t know which would work best though.
I’ve searched and can’t find anything that seems reliable.

How much do magenta seal pets go for? I've seen 3 black longs as the quoted price but not sure if that is actually fair for one.
