FIONN hails from Emeragrove Town, Sinnoh. Being such a small town, she always felt like a bit of a sitting duck waiting on adventure. She's been very athletic from a young age, but doesn't have so much of a competitive streak; more so, she's a good team player and would rather have fun and lose than be miserable and win. It can be easy to underestimate her for her small build, standing at 5'3", but this girl is an acrobat; practically bounces when she walks, hangs upside down from railings casually like an Aipom. She really threw herself into training alongside her Pokémon and is a fist-fighter as much as a gymnast; able to defend herself even without her Pokémon by her side. She grew up with five older brothers and was determined to be as sturdy as them all; so perhaps, that was a competitive streak when she was younger. This is just about the only thing she's ever felt competitive about, feeling like she had to prove her strength equal to theirs. These brothers all set off on their own journeys, leaving a 9 year old Fionn to fend for herself in Emeragrove - but she had some Pokémon by her side to keep her company.

Her childhood companions were an Eevee, a Mareep, and a Buneary; her greatest dream was to venture out into the world and go on a journey with her Pokémon, so as soon as she turned 13, she zipped to Sandgem Town to receive Chimchar as her 'starter' Pokémon. She was determined to catch up to her brothers for the first while, but after collecting the first four gym badges on offer in Sinnoh, she decided to take a more relaxed approach. Instead of rushing from town to town, she took her time and gradually earned gym badges; her Pokémon enjoyed this more than the frantic racing from their earlier days.

Now, Fionn finds joy in the small things on her adventures; a nice warm meal at the end of a tiring hike, a chance to lie on the grass and watch the clouds. She always has a bubbly attitude when it comes to travelling and is pretty much willing to go anywhere, anytime, with anyone. Though her pace may have slowed so that she can better appreciate the world around her, Fionn is still very much so a free spirit and very opportunistic. She's a good cook, and her trusty Flareon loves to contribute to this; she really believes that there's nothing a good homemade meal can't fix!
