The Line We Made 1x1

"Hey. It's Luke. Mom thinks Tess broke her foot. They are taking her to the hospital. I am headed back to the station to get the car so I can get there. Are you able to come?" He asked him. He wasn't sure with his partner. He was out of breath from running.

"I can't just leave Luke..." he said softly as he listened to him, worried about Luke and Tess, but they were at work, he couldn't just leave, even though it was an emergency to them, it wasn't life threatening.

“I get that. It’s okay. I will take care of it.” Luke said to him. “Talk to you later.” He said. He told the chief what was going on. He understood and let him go. He got to the hospital and went to his daughter.

Jaxon sighed softly, worried, he rubbed the back of his neck, but he got back to wrok.

His partner looked at him. “Are you okay?” He asked raising an eyebrow.

Luke went to their daughter to take care of her.

Jaxon looked over at him, "My daughter is in the hospital with a broken foot." he said.

“That’s not good. Well, I need to run to the hospital to check on some stuff there so you could swing by to check in on her while I do a few things...” he said. He did not really have anything he needed to do there but he thought it would be good for him to check on her. She was probably scared.

Jaxon looked at him, a little surprised, "You sure?" he asked, he knew he couldn't do anything out of line, the chief was already regretting hiring him, but he did want to check on her.

“Yeah. You were with me the whole time. Let’s go.” He said to him. He headed out to the car to drive to the hospital. He wasn’t going to walk that far. He looked over at him. “Coming?” He asked.

Jaxon nodded as he headed to the car, knowing it was a necessary thing, he got in, glad he could check on his daughter.
