Eyla is female, and young- and well, pretty. Most wouldn’t expect her to be a second in command in a gang, or demand any kind of respect. Because of this, Eyla is particularly fierce and fiery. She’s quick to snap at others and can be brash and easily irritated. Really it’s probably just insecurity- she feels she must act cruel and strong in order to gain and maintain respect. Eyla is particularly skilled with pistols, and they are her weapon of choice. She’s not one to think through her actions much before going through with them so it’s probably best to stay back. Eyla is rather funny and sarcastic in an endearing way once she lets her guard down. She’s a huge flirt, and likes to get her way. Eyla is a lot to handle, so it’s a good thing she’s in a leadership position because she’d probably end up bossing someone around. Her mother died giving birth to her so she was raised with her father. When he got sick and eventually passed away, she was given to her not so kind uncle. She took to the streets, in order to make her own way and get away from her family. She quickly learned to pickpocket, which is when she was noticed by the gang when she was about 16. She quickly climbed the ranks, and now considers the gang to be her family. Loves horses, weapons, and extravagant, luxurious clothing.

Bellamy is a hired hand- he prefers to work with the horses and livestock and spends most of his time there. Bellamy has quite a bit of animal medicine knowledge, as he once desired to be a veterinarian, however he comes from an unfortunate family and is unable to pay for the schooling. Bellamy was raised to be kind and gentle, he’s confident but sweet. Sometimes he has a quick temper and can get snippy, but for the most part he’s calm and keeps to himself. He’s talkative, but won’t choose to approach others. Bellamy loves animals and nature, and quite frankly hates his job. He wishes he’d been born into different circumstances and could follow the path he desires. Bellamy is rather intelligent and clever, because he studied hard all his life, dreaming of perhaps getting further schooling. However, it didn’t happen for him so he has quite a pool of useless knowledge.

A thoroughly independent young woman undaunted by rough living conditions and physical danger, Kajsa is an eminently sensible person. Though her considerable personal freedom from a young age shows through in her stubborn aversion to taking orders without questioning them. Kajsa is adventurous due to her freedom, and will often be found out in the middle of the country reading, riding or dancing. Loyal to her family, Kajsa feels a sense of duty and honour toward them. Often just seen as the 'baby' of the Marrow children, many are shocked by her fiery temper and her brutal honesty when she is fired up. Her siblings have often been on the reciving end of her sarcastic tongue.

history

The youngest and probably the wildest of the Marrow children. Whenever she wasn't in school, she was off riding along with cattle drives or exploring some new landmark. Other times, she could be found helping out on the farm in some way and would often take care of the orphan calves and lambs. Despite the encorugaement of her family to be more 'lady-like' and marry well, Kajsa dreams of being able to work the farm or even have her own. At the age of thirteen she was sent to finishing school in New York, only returning home after her mother's death. This event changed Kajsa, and she no longer was the wild child she had once been. Instead her siblings noted that she became quieter, and the frequency at which she disappeared off on adventures reduced too. Deep down, Kajsa feels a conflict between what she wants and the wants of her family, such as that of her marrying.

In general, Artair is charming and amiable, with a highly developed sense of humor and knack for inventive swearing. However, the Cameron's are known for their stubbornness, and Artair exemplifies the trait powerfully. He is also completely devoted to his family, and will eliminate any threat to his loved ones, no matter the cost to himself. He has a strongly developed social intelligence, and a profound sense of a man's honor and duty. He won't turn away from any fight or responsibility that he perceives to be his.

history

The gang are Artair's family. With his father the leader, Artair was taught the ways of gang life from the moment he was born. At the age of 13, he lost his mother to TB, and then his father five or so years ago during a robbery gone wrong at someplace on the Marrow's land. This has lead to a cold hard grudge against the Marrow's, that was always there in Artair, having had the seed planted by his father when he was just a small child. He has been robbing stagecoach's and the like since he was able to assist in some way, his father's favourite being to use Artair to get stagecoach's to stop, pretending to be a lost child. Since he took leadership of the gang, Artair has promised himself he won't let any of them come to harm. He works hard to try and ensure everyone is safe and has enough, even if it means going without himself. He has regrets, as anyone with this lifestyle does, but he made his choice, and he can't change it now.

A couple of years ago, he traded with a strange roadside merchant for a gyrfalcon chick, which he has raised into a fine hunter. When he has the chance, Artair likes to ride off for a day or two to go hunting with her.
