Daisypup smiled as Nightpaw introduced himself to Shootingstar. “And I’m Daisypup. It’s nice to meet you.” She felt a lot more comfortable since she had joined the pack and had a bunch of friends. She wasn’t a shy pup anymore. In fact she was rather quite friendly. And often thought of any dog she was introduced to as a friend.

"We're all just going to hunt near camp, so I think we'll be fine without herbs." Cindermist reassured the warrior. If anything were to happen, they would be close enough to camp to quickly get to the healers den.

Eaglepaw grinned happily as he watched the conversation, half of his mind focused on the rabbit burrow he knew to lie somewhere south of camp. He and the other apprentices were small; they most likely, especially Daisypup and himself, were to have the job of going into the rabbit burrows and chasing the rabbits out of their hiding spots and towards the quicker warriors who could easily catch three in a few minutes. Eaglepaw couldn't have cared less about which job he'd have. It was fun to try and catch the darting little rabbits as they zoomed around, but it was also a nice feeling to be needed to chase the rabbits out.

Daisypup wondered what’s Part she would play in going after rabbits. Probably going in the dens. She didn’t mind that. Running after rabbits wasn’t something she had ever done. She usually caught them when they were distracted and didn’t notice her. Oh well. Whatever her part was she would do her best.

He walked into the fresh-kill pile to take something delicious to eat, a large group of dogs where out at the moment so he could enjoy his loneliness for a moment. Ether his mentor was busy and the newly made leader was not even back yet, so there was nothing for him except for the prey.

She walked back to the nursery to sleep next to her pups, the camp was so calm now so there could be nothing which would bother her or the pups.

“I should probably tell Fallensnow I’m going hunting. I’d hate to worry her and have her not know where I’m going.” Daisypup said. Honestly she was glad the camp was so calm. At least Fallensnow and the pups wouldn’t be bothered by anything.

indent Roseglow waited patiently, her tail wagging slightly in excitement, she loved hunting, it was perhaps her favourite activity. the thrill of the hunt, and something she enjoyed doing with others as well. she smiled slightly to herself as she watched the group before her, it was good to see the clan bouncing back to its paws after the death of moosestar. yes she felt grieved and thought their leader had gone too early but that was life, and she was certain badgerstar would make just as good a leader, and so would cindermist when his time came.

“Be right back. I’m going to let Fallensnow know we are going hunting.” Daisypup said. Before walking quickly to the nursery and entering quietly so as not to wake any sleeping pups. She went toward Fallensnow who looked to be asleep but was now dead. The pup panicked and ran back to the group meant to go hunting. “Fallensnow. She’s dead. She was asleep when I left her but I could tell she wasn’t breathing just now. I don’t know what to do.” She said.

"Okay!" Eaglepaw yelped cheerfully, watching Daisypup bound away. "I can't wait to go," he said, grinning, his tail wagging furiously. He wondered in the back of his mind who Badgerstrike- Or Badgerstar!- he thought with amusement, would appoint Daisypup's mentor to be. He personally had a few guesses, but he had a feeling that pretty much any of the warriors in Thunderpack would happily accept her as their apprentice. I can't wait to hunt. And catch those rabbits. If we end up hunting rabbits, that is. "Nightpaw!" he said excitedly. "Aren't you excited to go hunting? I can't wait. I hope I can catch some rabbits... rabbits are so delicious in spring." Eaglepaw wagged his tail, simply happy to be alive in the beautiful morning spring had given them.
