𝙠𝙞𝙙, 𝙙𝙤𝙣'𝙩 𝙜𝙤 𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙝𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙚𝙧

fc. tensai ikkyuux'vc. the regrettesx'role. the desert child
name. tenkuu harumux'nickname. tenx'gender. ♀x'age. eighteen
01. 5'2x'02. 105 poundsx'03. name means erupting fire & champion

ten had been found and raised in the bare desert resort of unova. how
she ended up there? no clue. but that was her 'place of birth,' found
with the company of a baltoy. she was taken in by two backpackers
who hadn't originally planned on settling down somewhere, especially
not somewhere in the middle of nowhere. they did, though, and that
was where the little fireball known as tenkuu harumu was raised.
she grew up facing the harsh sunlight and scarring sandstorms with
determination, never really backing down to either of the natural
threats. she had been a fighter since the first day she was found.

her parents never wanted to spend the rest of their lives in the empty
desert, as their hearts longed to go back to their nomadic ways from
before. they raised ten in hopes that she would one day want to join
them in their travels, but she loved the desert from day one. people
like her parents may say it's just sand, sand, and more sand.. but it's
just so much more. it was a an endless blank canvas of sand, her own
little world where she was free to shape it however she wanted. it was
also dangerous. very, very dangerous. and as a child, the danger of the
desert excited her.. and left her parents very wary. they encouraged her
excitement, though, glad to see that their child enjoyed something at the
very least, even though they didn't. but they feared that too much
unchecked enthusiasm would lead to disaster; it did, a countless amount
of times. but danger and disaster was nothing to ten. in fact, she thrived
in it. it quenched her thirst for excitement, shaping her to be a thrilling
adrenaline junkie. she would get hurt, learn her lesson, and then solve why
it happened. eventually though.. the obstacles would grow old and boring.

this is when ten realized that her parents had a point; an empty canvas was
only empty for so long. once she had found a way around every danger, an
answer to every unanswerable question, there was nothing left to do. no one
to talk to, no pokemon besides her baltoy-- claydol, at the time-- to play with.
she resorted to spending more and more time inside the house, listening to
the singular radio that her parents kept in the kitchen. it was their one
source of enjoyment in the desert, and soon, ten found it enjoyable too.
she liked the music, the funny voices of news broadcasters, but more
importantly, she found herself entranced with the sports channels. she
enjoyed nothing more than sitting down and spending countless hours
just listening to a variety of different sports. basketball, softball, soccer,
football, tennis, bowling.. and the only one she could play in the desert,
volleyball. she had no nets, no bats, no goals, no field, no table, and no
pins, leaving her to play the only sport she could; volleyball. and boy
was she excited to have something new to learn. her interest in sports
sparked an interest in forming a pokemon team as well, seeing as they
could help her become a better player. with the help of claydol, she
taught herself how to play volleyball, impressing her parents with how
quickly she had learned. she was sixteen around this time, and the
two previous nomads decided that the desert was no place for a volley-
ball player. ten, who still loved the desert, had to agree. her parents
scraped together enough money by selling the precious things they had
found on their previous journies, and sent ten with her baltoy and a
small care package to a very well-esteemed boarding school. there, she
excelled on the volleyball team, and learned how to play many more
sports. she had a natural talent for any activity involving being physical,
which included pokemon fighting as well. at the school, she would grow
her team of fighting friends, as well as her volleyball playing skills.

ten is one of the most hard-working people you'll ever meet. she came from
nothing to something, with only a claydol and a burning sense of ambition to
her name. she pushes herself to do better constantly, with not only sports but
with her pokemon as well. she can make adjustments to herself as needed,
though never gives off a false personality. she's 100% genuine in her words as
well as her actions, and expects the same from everyone else too. while never
really a team player-- she grew up as a single child, nobody else to work with
besides her pokemon-- she does know how to cooperate, and understands that
cooperation is a needed trait for getting alone with a team. she'd usually rather
work alone just because of how much easier it is, but can work with a team too;
which is why she excels at volleyball, a communicative sport. she's open with her
wants and needs, and her team is the same with her too, both the other volleyball
players and pokemon. she'll work as a team when it's necessary though, of course.

another thing that's obvious about ten is that she's a little fireball. she's havoc-
inducing, bold, and definitely a little crazy. but what she isn't is stupid. her
biggest pet peeve is being looked down upon, as she's gotten so far in life on her
own. she can get defensive quickly against those who underestimate her, but she
knows how important it is to hold her anger. she's incredibly smart, but a smart
person with a lack of fear is something that can be seen as impulsive or reckless.
but ten tries not to let it bother her. she knows who she is, she knows what she's
capable of, and she knows how far shes come, which is all that matters. if someone
can't see that, she has no need to bother with them. she has nothing to prove.

ten doesn't exactly.. click with the team completely. she feels like she
is often looked down on, and tries to maintain a good amount of distance

fossil which was part of the care
package her parents had sent her
with. he acts just like a dog in the
sense that he loves fetch, and
helps ten by retrieving whatever
she needs. he likes to play dumb,
which annoys ten to no end.

[ agility, electro ball, helping hand, quick attack ]
mai, along with pur, were two pokemon
stolen from her school. for sports, plusles
and minuns are commonly used as cheer-
leaders.. so she took two to be her own.
mai is the calmer of the two, and enjoys
making friends with other pokemon. she
tends to follow along with the antics of
pur. pur stays by her to protect her.

buro has been ten's number one pokemon
since the start. she would teethe on the
clay at a young age, and would go on to
use claydol as a 'ball'. she would practice

her beloved pokemon, and boru would
fly back and forth like it was a volleyball.

pur is meaner than mai, and usually is
the one to start the cheering. she's feisty
and spiteful, but dumb as a rock. mai
sticks by her side to look after her.

[ hex, dark pulse, shadow ball, will-o-wisp ]
kyatch was found as a yamask one day,
with ten originally mistaking him for
another human being. he had involved
himself in one of her volleyball practice
matches, passing boru back like a person
would. she could only see the mask in
the sandstorm, leaving kyatch to look like
a person. soon after, he joined the team.

[ gunk shot, hydro pump, ice beam, lock-on ]
the octillery, at the time a remoraid, was
the first pokemon that ten caught outside
of the desert. he was very aggressive, and
she soon learned that despite his small size,
he was very powerful. shes been blasted by
his water beams too many times to ignore
it's strength. he learned to mellow out, help-
ing ten by launching her volleyballs into the air.

much like the other children, hana was discovered wrap
ped up with a single pokemon. in her case, she was fou
nd in a field just beyond a large pokemon ranch, alongs
ide a mareep. the ranch was known for raising numerou
s kinds of pokemon, ranging from miltanks to mudsdale
s, dubwools to gogoats. even a rowdy tauros or two was
known to pass through their fields from time to time. h
ana's parents were kind enough to take her in, but in m
any ways, their kindness stopped there. she always felt
like they treated her with a bit more distance than they
did her two brothers (although those two, thankfully, w
ere never anything but warm to her), and occasionally h
eld the fact that they "saved" her over her head, usually
to goad her into doing more than her fair share of chore
s and work around the house and farm. it's caused some
long-term self-worth issues for hana, and she feels usel

ess if she doesn't have a job of some kind to do. when t
hat happens, she also tends to worry about the people
around her abandoning or rejecting her, because as far
as she's concerned, her worth is tied to what she can d
o for other people. to avoid dealing with these feelings,
hana tries to keep her distance from other people, bec
ause she thinks it'll help prevent her from feeling like s
he "owes" anyone anything. to her, isolation is the only
way—although she tends to phrase it more nicely, like s
aying independence instead. even then, she can't escap
e her desire to help, so even if she tries to act like she
has no patience for your stupidity, she'll help you regard
less, as long as you can put up with her hollow insults...
which she'll usually apologize for later, anyway, because
she's just not built to be alone. she's very vulnerable an
d gentle with her pokemon, & startles if you catch her.

fully relaxes when she's alone with her pokemon,
in which case she practically overflows with war
mth and affection 𝐈𝐈𝐈. trust me it won't take long
at all for people to see that she's not remotely m
ean 𝐈𝐕. very level-headed under stress 𝐕. loves t
o ride her mudsdale and go as fast as possible 𝐕𝐈.
always prepared for the worst outcome 𝐕𝐈𝐈. wou

uses her mudsdale to try to support her aloof ma
sk because he is much more stoic than she is 𝐈𝐗.
