Roleplays featuring animals or non-human fantasy creatures which are based on a book/movie/tv show (e.g. Warrior Cats, My Little Pony, Pokemon)

notesthe general basis of this roleplay is that spiri
tclan has abandoned the idea of starclan. as
per the final command of the clan's founder,
thornstar, even mentioning starclan is forbid
den. while most agree with thornstar's comm
ands, a pawful do not. these few believe tha
t the phantoms are not as wonderful as they
appear to be. as we get rolling, I will start pr
eparing a prophecy surrounding that idea. if
you have any ideas, please pm me!

territory
spiritclan has made its home in the midst of a large
pine forest nestled between two towering mountai
ns, which the clan have called the mountains of sn
ow and rain. at their peaks, the access to the real
world for the phantoms is easiest, which is how th
e clan has come to communicate with them. down
in the valley, there is a lazy river cutting through t
he forest, in the middle of which lies the small isla
nd that spiritclan has made their camp. to the nort
h, towards the mountain of snow, is a clearing that
is used as training grounds for apprentices. to the s
outh, there is a ravine that is often used for climbi
ng practice.
camp
spiritclan's camp is settled on a small island in the
middle of the river. at the center of camp is a low-han
ging tree, which the leader makes their nest in and ad
dresses the clan. the warriors and apprentices sleep in
dens built out of arranged bushes, queens in an abando
ned fox den, and the medicine cat in the gnarled roots
of another tree.
current status
the season is newleaf
the weather is warm

Rosethorn woke up, the rays of light coming towards the entrance of her den- with a lazy yawn she stood up, looking outside to the rest of the Clan. With a sigh she stood up, stretching out her paws to get herself ready for the day- and with one look at her herb storage she padded out of the den into the main camp of the clan of the spirits. She was never able to sleep for long- the instant the first peek of light came over the horizon she was awake, no matter what else. It did bother her at times, especially when she worked late into the night, but it was common for her at this time.

𝚜𝚝𝚘𝚛𝚖𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚒𝚍𝚎 — [stôrm - strīd] — 35 moons
𝖣𝖤𝖯𝖴𝖳𝖸. a dark brown siamese tom with blue-gray eyes
location: camp | tags: open
The siamese warrior slipped out of the warrior's den with a delicious stretch, his whiskers pointing to the rose-kissed sky. Dawn's chill crept into his pelt, but it was a welcome and invigorating sensation. Most of the clan seemed to be sleeping still, though he had passed some rousing clanmates on his way out of his nest; patrols would need to be organized soon, but of course he'd need some risen cats for those. Stormstride stood to the side of the warriors' den entrance for a moment, closing his eyes and kneading his dark paws in the dirt, calling upon the spirits to grant them a fine day.
When his prayers were finished, the deputy opened his eyes and trotted over to the fresh-kill pile. There was little left over from the evening prior, but he wasn't a particularly picky cat, and he didn't want to start the day off with an empty stomach. Choosing a chaffinch from the pile, he settled down in the shade and began to eat, pleased to see that Pantherstar was awake as well. Stormstride wondered if he ought to go speak to his leader, but the black tom seemed very tranquil basking in the sun, and Stormstride didn't want to disturb him.
𝚗𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝𝚖𝚢𝚝𝚑 — [nīt - miTH] — 46 moons
𝖶𝖠𝖱𝖱𝖨𝖮𝖱. a tall black molly with pale green eyes
location: forest | tags: open
Nightmyth rose in silence sometime before the dawn, her ears filled with the song of robins heralding the arrival of the sun. The molly had tiptoed around her snoozing clanmates, a living shadow fleeing from the sights of others. She rose at this time nearly everyday, not wanting to be around when patrols were assigned. Other cats made her nervous, always so eager to pry or judge. She loved her clan, of course, but from a distance: she performed best when she was alone with the forest and the spirits and the earth. Her name was a monument to her ephemeral presence, a cat whose existence was proven by a still-warm nest, a scent on the breeze, a movement of liquid night in the periphery of one's vision. With a light smile she remembered an apprentice who had wound up in the medicine den, claiming Nightmyth was a spirit cat living among them and that she might have a prophecy to share -- what a sight it was to see the expression on the young cat's face when he was told she was a living, breathing cat.
Stepping into the camp's clearing, Nightmyth stared up at the last of the stars clinging to the sky, soon to be hidden by the day. Taking a breath, she trotted towards the camp's exit, eager to begin her hunting. Once free from the confines of her home, she plunged into the undergrowth, filling her nose with the scent of living things. Almost at once she picked up on the scent of mouse and immediately slowed her pace. With silent footfall she tracked the creature down, pinpointing its location to the base of a pine tree. The area was littered with fallen cones, and the mouse was darting among them, checking each cone for seeds. Nightmyth crouched and began stalking it, thankful for the layer of pine needles to muffle her pawsteps. Moments later she held a warm body in her jaws. Dawn had now arrived, and soon the patrols would be out. The molly hid her catch and lifted her nose. Maybe she would make an appearance today.
