✚ the setting of this roleplay is high society colonial america. there are several noble families to take note of - the
✚ Winchesters, the Clermonts, and the Thorntons. all three of these families have strict values and reputations to uphold.
✚ but, of course, not everyone can be of noble descent, so there are many families whose sons and daughters attempt to
✚ climb the social ladder and present themselves equal in high society. despite the effort, few climb to higher social
✚ statuses, and many are left in the dust. but the strifes of the peasant class become of less importance with the brewing
✚ rebellion in the colonies and the cries of revolution. the three noteworthy noble families follow a tradition, though,
✚ and despite the revolution, they continue with it. after all, the lives of the many are for entertainment for the
✚ aristocratic few. intrigue, mystery, romance, and drama will surely ensue.

Annie is a very driven and determined individual. She often ignores her families
wishes. She tends to sneak out of her family's manor and go to the streets to h
ear the latest news on the revolution. She thinks it's beautiful to have so many
people be able to unite for one common cause. Despite the honorable reasons for
her behavior, she can often be hotheaded and temperamental, causing her father
to cringe in embarrassment. Annie is very protective of her younger sisters and
would do anything for them. She has sacrificed a lot of her time and energy to
appease them, especially her youngest sister. Annie doesn't mind her family's va
lues, and think that they are honorable, but she does think that everyone around
her is a bit straight-laced and could loosen up a bit. Although it seems like s
he is carefree, as the eldest sister, she has a lot riding on her. She needs to
represent her family well, and that scares her. She knows that she has to marry
well, and doesn't have the luxury to marry for love - well at least that's what
her father has been telling her since the day she was born, but she's starting
to suspect that that is not really his plans. She is quite flirtatious and in that
respect, ignores her father's expectations for her to be more lady-like. She w
ants something to outlive her, as a woman, she feels her only duty is to get m
arried to someone who will do something. Fighting for everything she belie
ves in, she feels, is her only way to have her legacy outlive her.

OKAY EVERYONE!

All the spots have been reserved/filled! That being said, you should contact others with ideas for relationships, finish biographies/histories, upload your forms, etc. in the coming days. I would like to start by Monday next week so please have everything done by then!

Just some reminders of the rules as we move forward:

-All CS rules apply, please look specifically at the rules for this board.

-Decent grammar and spelling are required.

-Romance, drama, and IC fighting is encouraged, but if I see any OOC bullying/drama, I will ask the person responsible to leave the RP, and report them to the mods.

-Please try to be active! Twice a week minimum is all I ask!

-150+ words per post, please! A little less is okay, but please try to remain decently consistent (excluding introductory post, which can be much longer than what you would write on a general post, at least that's how it is for me).

-All OOC in discussion thread please!

Some more general information:

My character, Annie, will keep the timeline in place, so you don't have to worry about where we are in reference to the revolution. But, that being said, for the start of the RP, this is taking place before the actual war, but the idea of rebellion is brewing.

If you guys could, please post on this thread to let me know that you are still interested in the RP, and you're not going to just ghost right before we start. (this process has been painstakingly long). I put a lot of time and effort into making this RP, the least you could do is let me know you're still interested! Please do that before Monday.

Hey guys!

So, I intentionally made this RP so there is a lot of elbow room to grow and adapt as you see fit. Obviously, not every little detail about the families is included in my Details post, but that is intentional. If you guys come across something that you think should be included, or expanded upon, and is too big to just RP it out, please let me know. It's difficult to think of every little scenario.

That being said,

It is also okay to roleplay the smaller stuff how you'd like (obviously, or else this wouldn't be fun). For example, I didn't include any information on the parents of any of the Nobles. Now this is something that you should discuss with the siblings of your characters. (this obviously doesn't apply to the peasants who don't have any siblings) So yes, don't just go changing up the plot without communicating with others, but feel free to improvise. But, if there is something that only applies to your character, then feel free to do what you'd like (within reason, obviously).

If you guys have any questions about this, let me know! Also, if you can't decide as a group, I'll just decide for you!
