Leo nodded along with Bruno, more or less agreeing with him. Perhaps since he wasn't a wolf, he didn't see the all of the alpha's personalities, but he seemed charming and respectful. Even though Leo was taller than Johann, he could sense the great strength of the alpha. If there was anyone Leo didn't want to get in a fight with, it was the him. "Yeah, there's a whole lot of brute strength in that guy." He chuckled and patted the younger teasingly on the head. "Better hope you're a fast runner." He sing-songed. Briefly, he wondered how the pack was holding up. It must have been a difficult transition to go through with the former alpha's son rising up to his place.
Leo gave caught the eye-roll, giving Bruno a questioning look. He felt sometimes that the younger got annoyed when he smiled too much and got to cheery. Was it bad to smile so much? Now that Leo thought about it, he did seem like one of those annoying people in movies who smiled
way too much. In the end, Leo brushed off Bruno's action, crediting it to his slightly cynical nature. For the sake of the younger, he put on a neutral face, and simply nodded when he passed someone he knew.
Leo snorted a the 'sir' as they neared the shop. Being called sir made him feel old. "Hey, keep that for your boyfriend or dad." He chided, giving his head a carefree shake. "Too bad he missed it, though. It was sad as hell to watch, but quite entertaining." He wondered why the mechanic hadn't shown up, but he knew that Max was also working hard, so it was no surprise that he didn't have time to show up. Leo mainly went to have an excuse to get off of work and keep Bruno company.
Leo's eyes lit up as he laid eyes on the aforementioned mechanic, watching him jog up to them. He put him in a headlock, digging his knuckles into his skull. "Doofus convention? You're house is the other way, what are you saying?" He let him go, allowing him greet Bruno. As they talked, he ran his hand over the roof of the car affectionately, not minding it's slightly tattered state. For him, it meant that the car was well loved. Either that, or Max was a bad driver. Both worked.
At the mention of food, Leo perked up, turning back to his two friends. "Yeah, let's go to the pub, I could use a drink right now. We can pick something up from the cafe after." He suggested, leaning against he car. He made a face as Bruno claimed the front seat, moving as if to lick his hand. "Whatever. At least I'll be snug in the back when Max crashes into a tree." He drawled, smacking Max softly on the hip before opening up the door to the driver's side.
At first, he paused, frowning at Max's unintentionally insensitive add-on, but relaxed at Bruno's loud peals of laughter. after all, he wasn't the one grieving here. "Cry? It's a funeral, not a damn chick flick. They should have played Celine Dion in the background if they wanted a tear or two out of me." He chortled, resting his large arm on the open door. He nodded along as Bruno talked about the whole fiasco. He only got in after they closed there doors, buckling up quickly. "Alright, let's get it." He cheered, checking the time on his watch. He couldn't be out too late, or he'd have trouble getting up early tomorrow morning.
