Nathan soon came out of the store, got on his bike and rode again.

Kylie pulled her legs up to her chest and leant her head on top of them.

Nathan rode to where he had previously been, and where Kylie now was. He stopped so quickly the bike skidded and finally stopped just in front of Kylie. He got off quickly and knelt beside her. "What the hell happened? What the hell did you do?"

"I got dragged into an allyway by shadows." Kylie shuddered. "Why did you leave me?"

[di-stri]

"Because I had to get this," Nathan said, pulling out his new silver sword, the blade glittering in the sunlight. "I wouldn't really be very useful without it."
He decided not to mention the phone number.

[fallingfast;]

"Yeah, well, you obviously cared more about that then me," Kylie muttered, her eyes flashing darkly.

[di-stri]

"How could I help you without it then, huh? Do some magical hand thing?"

Kylie stood up shakily, and walked away.

[di-stri]

"Exactly," Nathan muttered, standing up.

Kylie slipped onto his motorbike at the front and sped off without him.
