Vodka grinned and licked his teeth, stopping his laughing gradually. "Oh? Is the prissy lil kitty mad at me?" he replied. "Well too bad. Suck it up. Don't ya know you aint got no space or privacy in this here place? And aint no one gonna bow down and give you what you want. I'd think one such as you would already knows that. But I guess not. Dumb cat."

The brute turned his back to Yew and resumed his cackling, face twisted into a splitting grin as he did so. Vodka's tongue hung out of his mouth and he hunched over, gut hurting from all the laughter.

Yew hissed under her breath, dangerously close to lunging at the beast. He might be larger than her, but she was a wild animal! He was nothing but a show dog, at heart. Shaking her head she mewed softly, almost deadly soft, "You might be laughing now, brute. But we shall see who laughs last." She smiled, a flicker of it tracing to her eyes as she let them linger on the hulking black thing. It would pay. Dearly. Flicking her ear she turned her gold eyes off of it, to the mouse. Her stomach was growling, and every instinct she had told her to eat the food...but her pride was too great. No. That would mean endless laughing from Vodka, and shame from herself. She would not touch it.

This statement sent another wave of loud laughter thought the facility from Vodka. He flopped on his side and rolled around, kicking his legs. What humor! The little cat thought she could take on him! Him! Oh it was too much, simply too much. The brute clawed at the ground, claws making a horrid screeching noise against the metal. It mixed with his roaring laughter, creating an ear splitting sound.

This statement sent another wave of loud laughter thought the facility from Vodka. He flopped on his side and rolled around, kicking his legs. What humor! The little cat thought she could take on him! Him! Oh it was too much, simply too much. The brute clawed at the ground, claws making a horrid screeching noise against the metal. Yew rolled her eyes. Typical canine brute. They think size and weight is everything. Please! If he could beat me, he deserves to go free; the dung-eater. Cocky. Stupid. Annoying. Irksome. Repulsive. Medlesome. Pesimistic. Gross. Arbitrary. Coward. Loser. Dog. Yew listed insults in her head that applied to the overgrown mutt. She thought of a lot. Curling her tail disgustedly around her small paws, her gold eyes scanned the creature and then went back to her own cell. Just ignore him. Then he won't bother you, Yew. Dogs don't bother those who don't talk to them. They'r too stupid to start a conversation on their own, anyway, so maybe, if I just ignore him, he will die down. Or, better yet, the humans might take him away for all his brouhaha and give me a nice, docile, clear thinker as a neighbor.

Caz was chained to a low table,her eyes wide with fear. She hissed and yowled wildly- it had been months since her last injection or experiment ! All of a sudden,she had a sharp pain in her left side,before she passed out. One of the scientist grabbed another tube with a murky green liquid,pressing that into her left leg. The serium slowly flooded her system. It was an age increasing injwection. Grabbing the next shot,a health and speed injection,the scientist put that in next.
Soon Caz was grabbed by the scruff,still unconscious,and a chain was wrapped around her neck. The scientist dragged ehr back to her cage and opened the door,before gripping the end of the chain. He tossed her like a doll into the cage,befre shutting it and walking off as if it was nothing. The cage was right across the way from Yew.

Vodka continued to roll around and laugh, choking himself in the process. His collar dug into his neck and restricted his air intake, but it didnt bother him too much. After a while of gasping coughs, the brute got up off the floor of his cage and sat up right, still giggling a softly.

Vodka's laughter quietly continued as he replayed the moment over and over in his head. It was so funny he could barely think straight. Well... think very much at all for that matter. His merriful glee was interrupted when one of the scientists came over to inspect him and his cage after putting away another animal. The beast growled at him, whipping his tail about angrily.

Yew totally ignored the canine mutation beside her, her poker face perfect. She flicked her rounded ear as a new tenant was placed in the cage in front of her. Her gold dappled pelt shivered slightly in the cold air, and a human peered curiously into her cage through the bars, clicking his teeth softly, eyes narrowed. Baring her teeth she stalked to the back of her cage, the farthest away from the human who brought so much pain when he touched her, and drugged her. The human's eyes followed the dead mouse on the plate, and he frowned. Sticking a gloved hand in, he swiftly took out the corpse, only just before Yew lunged at his fingers, her teeth and claws bared. She lashed her tail as he left unharmed, swiftly walking away, with her uneaten food.

Vodka growled lowly and watched as the human walked away. He snorted at Yew, who had done nothing but lunge. She didnt even try to make a scratch on the white coat! He drooled and licked his chops before turning around and started mumbling softly to himself to pass the time.

There wasn't much else to do but sit and stare at one another while in the experimental place. Vodka didn't get the luxury that some of the experiments had, which was to go outside and roam freely. He couldn't. The scientists knew he was much too unstable for interaction with the other experiments, so they kept him locked up at all times. The brute did get to feel the fresh air every now and then. They'd open up the big steel door behind him and let him loose, allowing him to go out into a caged area so he could stretch his legs. Vodka liked when they did that. He liked the outdoors. It felt right.
