Midas is very fond of snow. When he sees it he acts like a young colt kicking it up, creating snow drifts, and rolling in it. Because of his habitof rolling in snow he has to wear a blanket when he gets turned out in the winter months. He also plays with the foals in the snow if their mothers will allow it. If not then he finds other horses that will play with him wether it is yearlings or older horses he doesn't care.

Midas' pov:
I got off of the trailer estatic to be in a new place. I looked around taking in everything it was weird. The outside smelled like... lavender and honeysuckles. I saw a small horse like creature. "Baby horse?" I asked aloud. It was too far away to smell properly, but it didn't smell like any horse breed I knew of. It smelled more like flowers than anything else. When I got into the barn it smelled like my old barn, but it was empty and lonely. I missed seeing the other horses. I hope others come soon. When I got to my stall it had a nameplate with my name on it. I nickered happily. I got into my stall and waited until the handler was out of the way before rolling in the bedding. I wasn't sure about this handler she wasn't my Nico. I wanted Nico and I wanted in the pasture to explore. After I rolled I shook myself off and turned in circles to see my new home. I sighed and flopped down. There was nothing different from my old stall except my friends. Nico said they'd be here tomorrow morning, so we could play. I looked up at the ceiling. "Nothing interesting." I grumbled. Then I saw something super cool! It was a bee eating the wood and making a little nest like the swallows do! It was cute. "Hi little bee. I'm going to call you Gerald." I called up to it. It didn't answer of course not it couldn't. Gerald went into his little nest and started to sleep. "Goodnight Gerald." I said before falling asleep myself.
