Once there were two cats, Frostgaze and Firegaze, these two cats were siblings but were very different. Firegaze had the eyes of a raging fire and a pelt the color of licking flames. Frostgaze had the eyes of calm snowfall and the pelt of the purest white snow. Frostgaze didn't know what had gotten into her brother one day, but suddenly he snapped and attacked her like a raging fire trying to melt the snow as quick as possible. She ran away in fear and hid in the snowy hills as the tom searched for her, enraged by something she didn't understand. When he had finally left, she sighed and left the hills. Her camouflage had worked. She never returned to the clan where they lived and had started a clan of her own far away. She named the clan Snowclan and became Froststar, all of her clan members enjoying their life there. Though eventually, her life came to an end when Firegaze, who was Firestar at the time, had fought her and her clan in battle. She had died protecting her beloved clan and took Firestar down with her. The cats of Snowclan renamed the clan Frostclan in her honor. Frostclan is sincere and sympathetic but do not accept any threating rouges or traitors. They are easy going and the aura of the clan is calm and soothing.

Frostclan is a beautiful clan but is almost always covered in snow. The cats believe the snow falls all the time in memory of Froststar when she had hid from her brother. There is always a forest surrounding the clan and the prey never goes bad since it's usually covered in snow, the only sad part is that you have to wait for it to thaw out. The trees and shrubbery are always covered in snow but the dens are usually warm inside so that no one freezes. Finding prey used to be pretty hard since they usually are hibernating but the cats had learned to dig to go into the hibernation homes and get them out. The area where the leader makes announcements is the high frozen rock, it is a ledge like rock with rocks leading up to it and instead of being frozen it's just covered in snow when snow had came.
