personality mississippi's mind is sharp with a strong will. these two things have kept her alive and
ultimately led her to the others. missy is an independent woman, but she still puts herself in between
threats and the rest of the group. her carelessness of her own safety has gotten her into some sticky
situations that she luckily is still alive to laugh about now. her feisty attitude has left her responding
jokingly to serious questions about herself, not willing to open up to much of the others of what she had
endured before meeting them. at first, to keep some satisfied, she gave them small meaningless facts
which allowed them to believe they truly knew mississippi however many did not.

missy speaks with passion, whether her words are of hate or love. her ability to feel her emotions strongly
made these feelings either be let out in outbursts laughing or anger. when pushed or patronized, missy
will not hesitate to challenge you back. she absolutely detests those who believe they are better than
others and mississippi will quickly put you back in your place

history mississippi lived on a farm growing up, with her mother, mom's boyfriend, and 2 older brothers.
with her father out of the picture at an early age and not really wanting to turn to her mother's boyfriend,
marcus, she looked at her brothers as paternal figures. when the world suddenly decided to end, figuratively
of course, it wasn't long before their animals began to change. after their home was ravaged and mother
dead, marcus fled and missy was left with her brothers. on the road, it wasn't long until missy was alone.
numb and unsure of what she was living for, she was found by an older man named john. the young girl and
the man became teammates, working off of each other to survive. mississippi does not talk about him
with the others, only wearing a broken watch as a reminder of john.
