i think them bad, most groomer i did go to once did not like them too....it nearly destroyed my dogs nice shiny long fur, it looked shaggy and dull and badly cut, it did seem to shave and rip the fur... Skin was itchy after,...from what i did read it is not an item really for double coated dogs or mostlikely any dog....never again ,it now sets on dust in my grooming bag...,
Normaly i use a soft slicker brush, different combs and brushes...and those softer rubber brushes for horses.
something like this - Lawrence Tender Care Soft Slicker Brush - Large Dogs w/ Fine Hair
or when i once really got tangled fur at belly from running arund forest with me and no time for going slow... i only use lightly, a Mars ..-Blade Coat King Rake once for short moment and very lightly no heavy hand.
...a good bath with natural dog shampoo and contitioner, made fr dogs, every once and again, helps too that the fur and skin is nice and easy to brush.
When you brush an comb each day for 5-30min, then you dont have need for such an mean item...and when you got crazy shedding dog then just brush two times a day...and use oil in the Food...
.
but other may like them, you maybe like them too after use....it is up to you if you want them and like to use them on your dog and if they work well for your dog too...

i have a 9-year-old, purebred, female labrador retriever and for a couple of months some lumps have appeared in multiple areas.
1) a little bit larger than a golf ball sized lump where her nipples should be. (we had her neutered as a puppy)
2) a similar size to above on her jowls
3) a few tiny little almost wart-like lumps in her ears and on her paws.
*i might have missed a few*
i'm quite concerned but i'm unsure if this should be taken seriously.
**EDIT: they don't seem to bother her when touched or squeezed.
We aren’t allowed to give medical advice on here. Call your vet and ask them what they think. They should let you know if it requires an appointment or not.
