Hello! Welcome to the first RP post I've made of my own! This focuses around a Clan that me and a friend of mine have been using in our personal warriors roleplay for some time now. Granted, I'm a little slow when replying to her (something I feel bad about!) I wanted to put together a forum post here and RP with this Clan just to sort of flesh it out more! And, I'm sure as you can see from the intro post above, Borderclan is a little different. They travel from place to place, only ever settling down for a while to force another clan to join them. They're led by Featherstar, who will be my only character for now. I'll make sure to detail the Borderclan specific rules below, so everyone gets an idea as to how this Clan functions differently from others! I hope this captures your attention enough to join. Alright, so, I'm sure a lot of this doesn't need to be said. But, just so I know nobody can wiggle their way through a loophole, and to maintain RP quality for everyone joining, please take a look at these rules!
- All CS Forum rules apply.
- No god-modding. No perfect characters. No crazy powers or abilities. This also means you need to make sure your character has natural pelt colors, and is without humanized accessories.
- Try to post more than a few sentences per reply. It gives everyone participating a lot more to work with the longer your replies are! And, along with this, try to make sure you're utilizing proper grammar and spelling. I understand that to some, English isn't their first language. But I've been roleplaying long enough to know the difference between laziness, and not having a good grasp on English.
- Please make sure to ask permission before killing off someone's character. And make sure your fights are fair, too.
- Keep OOC drama out of the RP thread.
- Make only as many characters as you can manage.
- Please ask before claiming a high ranking position as your own.
- Due to the nature of this RP, things may become bleak for some of your characters. Don't try to magic away the drama, angst, and emotional aspects of the bleak situations. It adds substance when characters go through emotional arcs.
- If you would like to put a major plot-changing idea into play, message me about it. Trust me, I won't always say no. If your idea is awesome and well-thought out, I'll most likely give you the OK. But, when thinking of such plots, please try to make sure it impacts more than just your character. A major plot-changing idea is no fun if every character has to start revolving around yours.

1. Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.
2. Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory until Featherstar has given the OK. Keeping on a Clan's good side, and peacefully convincing them to merge with Borderclan, comes before violently force.
3. Elders, queens, and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders. If any warrior or apprentice is sick or injured, they may eat while the elders, queens, and kits are eating.
4. Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life.
5. A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.
6. Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name.
7. A cat cannot be made deputy if they are not of original Borderclan blood. Those who have merged with Borderclan will never be given the rank of deputy or leader.
8. Once a Clan has merged with Borderclan, the original leader of the merging Clan MUST step down as leader. They will become one of the multiple deputies of Borderclan. All original deputies of the merging Clan MUST step down as deputy, and become a warrior. Failure to comply will result in heavy punishment until compliance is reached.
9. After the death, retirement, promotion (to a leader status), or exile of the deputy, the new Borderclan deputy must be chosen before moonhigh.
10. All medicine cats of original merged Clans may keep their rank. Multiple medicine cats reside within Borderclan. Because of this, demand for medicine cats is not high. If a medicine cat wishes to take on an apprentice, they may. But it is not absolutely required.
11. Borderclan will not participate in Gatherings, should they still be occurring, if they do not wish to.
12. Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.
13. No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is from a different Clan.
14. The word of the Clan leader is the warrior code.
15. All cats within Borderclan found plotting or suggesting uprising to Borderclan's current rules and regulations will be punished accordingly. If you hear of these things, and choose not to report it, you will be treated just as poorly as those speaking of uprising.
16. A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet. Adopting such life will result in exile.
17. If an entire Clan has made it clear they will not merge with Borderclan, a war is warranted. Those who do not merge will die, and opposing Clans must be completely wiped off the map.
