Limit is currently at 250!

So, limit is at 250... first off I had no clue there was ever a limit. Why don’t they say something about the limit in the description of the event? I almost spent all my tokens today- not knowing about it.

If the limit does go up, how much longer is the event? Doesn’t it end tomorrow?

We typically get the last releases on Easter Sunday, but get some more time to hunt for banners after that, and then some days to trade in all our tokens.
We've always had a limit for our Easter Events, starting all the way back in 2009.^^
For what it's worth, there's only gonna be one, at most two more days of releases, so there won't be many new things for you to buy. 250 is already a lot of tokens, but it's not unusual for the limit to be extended a second time, typically to 280-300.

Putting that as a note in the event description would make sense, though, huh.

Even if they’ve had limits forever, I’ve only been a member for a little over a year. So. Since it wasn’t in the description there was no way except hitting the limit for me to know. It’d kinda a bummer if they come out with more banner animal eggs or a banner pet at this point. Luckily I didn’t spend all my tokens, so it’s fine- I guess for newer zealot CS members it may be good to have the info somewhere.

Also, in order to “catch up” I have found that I have to work the events to get pets people will trade older pets for. It’d be cool if instead of limits they had super expensive pets 15-20 tokens or made the tokens harder to find- thereby allowing people to waste as much time as they want hunting banner tokens. Like me, lol

Just remember, too, if we want rare releases from the event, they can only allow us to collect so many tokens. I'm sure there's a fine percentage there that has to be walked so those token pets, for the most part, will be rare. And, if there are more people participating because of the stay at home orders, there will be less tokens allowed per person. I know I would only collect what I needed if the token releases, for the most part, weren't rare.

But, yes, knowing would be nice. Other than finding out by hitting the limit or other users. Although, usually if you come to the boards experienced users will tell you all want to know.

Is tomorrow (next rollover) the last time new pets will be released? Once I have all the pets I need I might auction off the rest of my tokens, but I want to make sure I have everything first. <3

No announcement yet on whether or not those will be the last, but usually the page will tell us if a release is the final one, so just keep an eye out c:
