Bane is a smug, seemingly indifferent hex. He is proud and he isn't afraid to let others know of how great he is. He fights with tooth and claw rather than magic like some of the other hexes, and he believes that that simple fact alone makes him better. While boastful, he does have a soft spot. He's a romantic, and pines for the lady's attention. He wants to be admired by them, and he works hard to be the best fighter he can to earn their admiration. While perhaps not the most selfless hex, he has a good heart and he works hard to keep the other hexes safe.

Pipistrelle is a kind celer hex with a gentle smile ready for anyone who needs it. She cares greatly for any creature she sees and will do almost anything to help those in need, often getting into more trouble than she would have been otherwise. Her greatest love are bats, as she learned to communicate with them during her kithood.
Despite being such a caring hex, she almost constantly appears cold and unapproachable as a mask to protect herself against hexes who wish to get to her wife through her. This mask is the cause of her reputation as the Bat Queen, an uncaring, silent figure that appears alongside one of the stronger Necromancers of Helgrim. She hates being unable to help those who need it as the Bat Queen, and often sneaks away from the action to help the injured, sick, or those who otherwise need a hand.
