"That’s what I assumed, but I wasn’t certain, since Alpha apparently named three Hunters to take as well. I missed the announcement, but Catania made sure to tell me aaaaaall about it." Arian smiled with a quiet, light laugh. "Some Warriors may underestimate us because physically, we are smaller, and weaker than males, but those Warriors, I suspect, have never fought a she-wolf who's held her own Pups. It gives us a love for all young ones, not just our own, it seems. I mean..." she shrugged. "I never had been one for interaction, much less with young and energetic little fluffballs, but I came over to see Sand and Coal, and to me, I saw perfection." She laughed again, a bit awkwardly this time. "When I was with Coal earlier, he fell asleep next to me, and I wanted to curl around him and keep him warm. Honestly, it was so hard not to," she admitted.

Dune

Dune blushed under her brown fur as Arian spoke. She didn’t want to brag, but in her eyes Coal and Sand were perfect. Of course, that a mother’s opinion. Dune chuckled under her breath and she glanced up at Arian, emotion clouding her gaze. “That, is one way I am quite certain that you will make the best Mother any single wolf in these lands have ever known.” She smiled gently at the pregnant Lead Warrior, joy making her paws tingle and her pelt hot. Arian may not be very accustomed towards lots of wolves, but pups would keep her company and bring their mother out of her little shell. Dune leaned forwards and nuzzled Arian’s shoulder with respect and gratitude.

Athena nodded and pounced on Mattias, knocking him over full force, she tried to pin him down with her back paws pinning his and a paw to his throat and chest. “That better?” She asked, balancing her weight.

Moon

Moon nodded her head frantically in response to Jasmine. When she felt the pressure of her paw on her stomach, she tense and began to push.

Arian returned the gesture. It felt odd, in a good way, to simply sit and share a meal and kind words with Dune. With anyone, really. A smile came to Arian's face. "I suppose...sometimes, things change, and..." she shook her head, but the small smile persisted. "Everyone is full of surprises."


JASMINE | Healer | F-Pack | Tagging: Max, Moon, Newborn Litter | Location: Alpha Den


Jasmine smiled as the last Pup was delivered. Four beautiful little newborns. "Three girls," she whispered. "Three girls and one brother for Thunder." She’d never had her own Pups, but she’d never regretted it. If she had, she wouldn’t be able to help deliver, to see the love and light in a new mother's eyes when she suckled her newborns for the first time.

Athena was easily able to pin his paws, but with almost five full years of training, Mattias wasn't exactly a shabby Warrior. He curled his head down to tuck his chin against the soft fur of his neck- a risky move on an actual opponent- in an attempt to twist her paw in a way that would force her paw to slip, without causing serious harm. "Much."


SHADOW | Alpha | L-Pack | Tagging: Alita, Cole, Mentions Everest | Location: Camp


Shadow caught sight of Cole speaking with Everest and Nova, and caught mention of her name. "Excuse me a moment." She nodded to Alita before heading over to her Beta. If anyone, her own Beta deserved to know. Though I will not betray Nova's paw in it. "Hello, Cole. I see you’ve met Everest."

"I’ll be right back, I promise." Fish gently licked her friend's ear before darting off in the direction Blake had headed. Second fight that week. This one had ended nastier from what she’d seen though, and that alone left worry in her heart. "Blake!" She called after the Warrior. "Blake, what happened?"

Athena slipped off of Mattias. “So, what’s next?” She asked him, eager to learn more.

Moon Smiled down at the four bundles that lay in front of her. “Can I try feeding them?” She asked, gently licking their heads.

Dawn lay amongst her siblings, letting out hungry cries.

She checked Moon's heart rate, just to make sure she was stable, then stepped back and nodded. "Go right ahead. Have you two chosen or thought about names?" She asked softly.

He stood. "As a Hunter, you’re use to attacking from behind. What about head-on attacks? Have you had to do any head-on attacks for prey?" He asked. He knew almost nothing of hunting, truth be told.

Fish stopped where she was. He won’t even stop to talk to me? Hurt prickled through her, but he had always been good to her, so...he must have his reasons. She just nodded. "I...okay."
