The older she-cat quickly ate the robin she was got to the pile, her eyes looking the camp once again as she licked her lips and buried the bird bones. She looked over to her two still alive kits there with a bright smile, but under her smile was a little spot of sadness as well, she could not forget the horrible day when her other daughter Brightfeather died together whit her granddaughter Raincloud, who was being warrior only a moon. She hoped that she didn't need to suffer it again, turning her shortening lifetime, kits could never die before their parents, it was so so wrong.

"Southstar hasn't mentioned who he's planning on making his new mentor, nut I'm sure he'll announce it soon. How has Meadowpaw been coming along?" she asked Frostpetal.
