Nicholas raised an eyebrow when Marcel answered his question. He didn't think that he could possibly deliberately annoy his own parents with his music. Then again, they'd always encouraged him when he first started... he was certain that it had taken a good few months before he even started to make a good sound with his violin, right when he was first learning. "I'm not sure that's a good idea." Nicholas commented, with a slight shake of his head.
In the quiet, he started to take a sip of his water, though it wasn't until Marcel had asked if anyone had caught his eye yet did he react - by almost choking on his water, like he'd done with his green tea earlier when Genevieve had asked the same question. This time, however, it was exactly what he didn't want to happen. Especially not in front of Marcel.
Calming, and quickly recomposing himself, Nicholas set the glass down on the table. "It's been enjoyable to meet the others. Though..." he glanced away unconsciously, "... no one has quite caught my eye yet." he answered.
Whether or not he was lying... no, not lying, just... not open about the truth. He was certainly intrigued by... someone. But Nicholas was certain it was something that would not be reciprocated. Nor was he sure what the reaction would be from his parents if he returned to his kingdom with the intent to marry a prince. He had to admit to himself, though, that the princesses he met were certainly lovely and friendly people, but he couldn't see himself being wed to one of them. Friends, certainly.
Uh... realising that things were silent, and that his gaze had drifted back to Marcel for however long their silence was, Nicholas cleared his throat. "Anyway... I... I think it would be good to get to know everyone a bit more, perhaps."
